Suggestion| Paladin skills Reduction

    Hi folks!

    dear gms,
    So... recently i have noticed that even when i'll be level 200 my 4th job skills (and im talking about 4th job skills only) will not be all maxed out. even at level 200.

    So the thing (rather say issue) is a full Paladin skillbook (4th job) Looks like this:

    Achilles 30
    +
    Guardian 30
    +
    Maple Warrior 20* *(Altho it could be 30 if [mw30] will be around, I know, I count as 20 still)
    +
    Monster Magnet 30
    +
    Power Stance 30
    +
    Rush 30
    +
    Blast 30
    +
    Holy Charge: Sword 0* *(Considering im a mace user this skill is not needed therefore im not counting it)
    +
    Devine Charge: BW 20
    +
    Hero's Will 10
    +
    Advanced Charge 10
    +
    Heaven's Hammer 30

    = all this adds up to 270

    Now it's not like I have the option to "choose" between skills because i counted the skills I need and going to max them all eventually. as of right now from 120 to 200 one gains 240 skill points plus 1 at 120 which is 241 overall.

    - This means im lacking 29 skill points in order for my important skills to be maxed out at 200, therefore my suggestion is to reduce from 30 to 20 at three MINOR skills that are not "Core paladin" skills.

    These are: Achilles: Damage taken from enemy - 15%
    at level 20 instead of 30.
    ------------Guardian: Block against enemies attack with success rate 15%
    at level 20 instead of 30.
    ------------Rush: MP - 50 , Damage 130%, Range 125%
    at level 20 instead of 30.

    I know what you probablly thinking, you think "hey, not only paladins have to face skill points issue, it was meant to be this way by Neckson, other classes have to choose between 4th job skills aswell and give up on some"
    Let me tell you this is not fully correct and most (if not all) classes get to level 200 after they have maxed out completely all their Important 4th job skills and some even go on and raise at 3rd job skills.


    Please consider my suggestion seriously, as i've put alot of thought into it and this is important to me. also, this should not affect the game dramatically (as i've chosen the least important skills) and should make paladin users serene about their 4th job skills.


    Im really really looking forward to your replies and comments so please lets talk this over.

    Hero's will is level 5 for minimum cooldown, and monster magnet is actually usefull when grinding when its lvl 30 because it pulls mobs at 95% rate.
    it's like asking "why would you max power stance"?
    so I decided to count Magnet aswell.

    and so you're right it aint 29 skill points im missing at level 200 But 24**.

    Oh yeah I forgot, we're down to 21
    and since hero's will is only 1 we're down to 17. good points there.

    First of all classes get different skills and skill points. This doesn't only effect 4th job skills, but it is also available to 1st, 2nd and 3rd job advancement. Here is a shortened overview *:

    2nd job (120 SP) / 3rd job (150 SP) / 4th job (240 SP)

    Fighter (120) / Crusader (180)** / Hero (270)
    Page (120) / White Knight (180)** / Paladin (270)
    Spearman (120) / Dragon Knight (180) / Dark Knight (240)

    Hunter (140) / Ranger (180) / Bow Master (240)
    Crossbowman (140) / Sniper (180) / Marksman (240)

    Wizard F/P (140) / Mage F/P (180) / Arch Mage F/P (240)
    Wizard I/L (140) / Mage I/L (180) / Arch Mage I/L (240)
    Cleric (140) / Priest (180) / Bishop (250)

    Assassin (140) / Hermit (170) / Night Lord (240)
    Bandit (140) / Chief Bandit (180)** / Shadower (240)

    Brawler (140) / Marauder (160) / Buccaneer (250)
    Gunslinger (130) / Outlaw (170) / Corsair (250)

    * not counting 1st job skills and MapleHero
    ** can safe 20 skill points without "shield mastery", e.g. using two-handed weapons
    *** there may be more SP safing skills (not to be maxed out) because they are kinda useless



    9/12 = 75% of all classes can't max out 2nd job skills
    12/12 = 100% of all classes can't max out 3rd job skills
    5/12 = ~42% of all classes can't max out 4th job skills

    Summary: the "not able to max out my skills" problem affects all classes and is "bigger" than just for Paladins. :bag: At least I don't think a change is necessary. Furthermore Paladin skills got a huge buff recently on Legends. :whistling: We could discuss that too...


    I got a counterproposal: what about combining "Achilles" and "Guardian" to one skill? :woot: Safes 30 skill points too.
    Level 30: damage taken from enemy - 15% and block against enemies attack with success rate 15%
