Do people generally only listen to one thing when they're grinding or have a specific grind playlist? Strikes me as a little odd if I'm honest.

To answer your question, though, I've been composing music myself, recently, so generally I'm listening to my most recent track on repeat until I know which bits I hate and want to change. There's no specific reason I listen to it while grinding other than the fact that I also happen to be grinding a lot.

 

Grinding with style

 

Generally speaking I listen to the music I've been listening for years, for example I'm stuck on Daft Punk and Muse albums, I normally listen to an entire album at least once a day ( for each group ), then maybe I play it out with some random Spotify playlists I got, mostly Rock, Disco.
Or if I'm fancying some change I'd try listening to the top hits of all years from 2000/2018.

Else anything with some lyrics, just to practise my voice.
