Change Voting to once per day, rather than once every 24H

I personally prefer this kind of system too. It allows more flexibility to people who aren't online most of the time in a day. I often find myself a couple hours late to the vote because I am too busy with work.

It doesn't just apply to this voting situation too. I always appreciate games/websites that allow players/users to repeat an action once during a period of time instead of every set amount of time.

 

I've intended to spend one day 'resetting' but that turned to 3 or 4 days lol. I agree that a better system should be chosen.

I think most if not all of us would prefer something like one vote per 22h to allow you to not have to push back the time every time you vote, but this is not controlled by us, but by Gtop who handles the whole ranking. I'm sure it's been suggested to them plenty enough before, but we really can't do anything here.

EDIT: Disregard, this is no longer the case. Gtop changed their system so that this is possible.

 

Time to petition for GTOP to make the change? :thinking:

 

What i do to counter this is vote mostly on main account and then, when the vote day gets pushed back too far, I vote on a mule. This way I still get my fair share of nx, its just split between two accounts.

 

Doesn't that change nothing at all, though? Wouldn't you still be pushing the vote back since you're still voting after waiting the 24h?

No, because since I am following the rules and only voting 1 time per day, the timer on main account gets reset because I don't vote on it on the "skipped" day that I vote on my mule. Basically I vote 7 times a week, 6 times on my main 1 time on a mule.

 

The rule is once every 24 hours not 1 vote a day... if you normally vote on your main, lets say at noon, and you get pushed back to like 8pm because you were busy and you want to reset it by voting on mule. If you vote on the mule the next day at 8pm there is no way for you to reset your main back to noon unless you vote 8 hrs ahead of the mule vote, aka vote from 16 hrs ago. I assume this also means you vote on your computer and on your phone since GTOP is based on time associated with the device used to vote...

Either way you are voting more than once per 24 hours...

 

Oh, well RIP me then. I guess it is vote abuse after all. I'll stop doing that and just try to vote more precisely, i.e. set a reminder to vote exactly at a certain time so it doesn't get pushed back too far. Though its kinda annoying because if I forget one day I essentially will end up losing 1 days worth of nx.

 

My go for this is setting a perm alarm on phone, and delaying it by 3 minutes every day (so i wont get denied cause i try to vote a minute earlier)

If possible anytime, i would like it to be changed as well^_-^

Obviously with the NX halved, so its 2.5k per vote.

 

We'd still have the same problem then. Votes would still get pushed back later and later (unless you were just trying to get 2.5k nx per day).

 

Yeah I like this suggestion for the same reasons but apparently ML can't change it as the limitation lies with GTOP :sigh:
