    I've always been curious how these things work because I always presumed that it would just be patching things you've already set-up in test servers. What exactly is happening for it to take over 24 hours?

    PS: This is not complaining, I'm simply curious :]

    You know, the usual. Feeding the hamsters that run the server. Replacing dead ones, etc.

    If it's anything like way long ago, it'll be updating the servers with patches, checking for any inconsistencies, backup server, possible testing by ML staff before release, item updates if anything, skill updates if anything, and probably a couple more since it's been awhile for me.

    OP was just asking : pepeghands:. I think in addition to testing in the test server, they still have to implement and test things or look for bugs in the actual server.
