Make use of taxed mesos (lottery?)

Thats so cool!

 

Point of taxed mesos is to permanently remove mesos from the game because mesos is always being generated.

Additionally, having a ticket drop from a mob will make mages have most tickets, who also hold the most mesos in the game.

 

The meso tax from trades or merchant shops is a type of meso sink though.

 

can we use the tax $ to fix the roads in henesys and clean up the outskirts of kerning insead? maybe renovate cwk to make it into a community center? update the port at lith? or switch all VIP taxis to green energy?

one cool idea though could be a server-wide tax tracker and every time it hits 1b maybe 10 ap resets are randomly distributed out of a batch of players to click an npc within a given time. that's the best i can think of, but the tax purpose is to be a meso sink like others have mentioned.

 

I believe at this time we still need more mesos sinks. It would be nice to redistribute wealth to newer/poorer players but it just isn't possible. I can easily get the tickets on my 18 characters, like most end game players, where new players are more limited.

 

I'm all for redistribution of wealth comrades but this game already feels like a slot machine.

Lottery for banned assets, so we dont get them stuck in dead accounts.
Maybe even some GM held auction to bid for those banned items.

Nah, the contractors of those abandoned construction lots in Kerning took the tax money and fled to an uncharted island in the middle of Ludus Lake years ago.

Would this be a bit like an estate auction?


In seriousness, I agree about finding more sinks to pull mesos out. This will especially be needed if the boss currency ideas come to pass.
