Superb badge luck from Nightshadows at Cavern of Valor, overall decent gameplay. Rewarded with another fine Subani Ankh for my growing collection.

 

I'm not saving anymore, so all my stats are in LUK now.

Testing an alternate route. Instead of farming at Cavern of Valor for a combination of Nightshadow, Windraider, and Stormbreaker badges, why not just hunt all 45 WR badges at Lower Ascent (the only decent map in Crimsonwood) then hunt every other badge at its respective CWK map?

Theoretically this route saves a lot of time on Nightshadow badges, but loses time at both Lower Ascent and Stormhall compared to the other route. So right now it's hard to say which is better.

 

Shadower is probably top 2 alongside Corsair. For other classes, I wouldn't recommend it.

Even with a Shadower, CWK exchange is... not for the faint of heart. It requires constant movement, fast decision making, and pretty much every trick in the Shadower book to keep up with the spawn in the weird and janky maps - ever heard of another map where there's a legitimate use case for Savage Blow in 4th job? This is not even to mention that even with extremely good gear, you'll still struggle to reach certain 1 hit and 2 hit thresholds.

When I have access to a better connection during the week, I'll upload footage of my sub-1h no hearts run for anyone curious to see.

Yes, you can stack as many as you want at a time. They aren't tradeable, though.

In theory? I'm not sure what the current meta is like or if anyone has attempted to exploit CWK exchange yet, but there are a lot of guardrails there that make multiclienting difficult. Here are some off the top of my head:

- The badges are untradeable, so you'd need to be able to loot everything on one character or somehow cycle characters
- The maps kind of suck, for the most part. Lower Ascent is the only decent one, and I'm pretty sure I only enjoy Cavern of Valor because of Stockholm syndrome
- The mobs are chunky and have potentially annoying elemental immunities
