Removing the Free Market teleport

The upside of not changing anything is that it allows new players a bit more ease of trading early on if they need, and it allows the economy to flourish in a sense.

The downside is that it can also be used for all the little things like buffing, trading pots and other small items not normally sold in FM shops.

Hangout idea seems cool as long as it is buff, trade and drop disabled. Would actually make it a place to hangout at and chill instead of transferring stuff to mules and buffing yourself with more ease.

 

If the "Hangout Spot" is implemented, PLEASE make it a super cool map

I dont mind doing it and it not being implemented in the end! It's fun to edit maps after all. I'll just need the map ID that you guys will use for hangout and if you got any suggestions on themes (or even mixed-theme!) those would help too. Of course, i'll wait to see if the fm button is going to be changed to start editting a hangout since well, maybe it remains as it is...who knows

Will trading/dropping also be disabled in this map?
I ask because with 2 computers, if someone wants to get something to fm faster (say no return scroll, don't want to lose their grinding spot, etc) they can trade their mule and do it from there. This gives advantage to people with 2 computers.

Also makes it so I can come there on my Islander though

keep it how it is please, but maybe like you can only warp to fm if youre in a town? compromise? i guess you could do that if people are complaining that you can do that in a monster map

 

I like it the way it is. It's great to meet guild members in a hurry and trade items for quests and such, if a hangout map is made I hope it will atleast allow trading as a bare minimum.

I think the whole point is to not be able to trade things.

 

Trading things doesn't matter to me much, those things originally have to be bought somewhere. The FM should be kept a hive of trade and activity.

Buffs though are a bit unnecessary. I saw a couple priests in CH1 FM just waiting to HS their respective guildies and 'mehhed' yesterday.

This is an interesting alternative to restricting trade entirely. It's like simply adding FM portals to all the towns instead of a select few.

 

I would definitely appreciate removing "maple TV". It's such a useless eyesore... I'd also be ok with disabling buff skills in the FM so you can't abuse it to buff alts/mules. However, I'd rather otherwise leave everything else alone. Because what's so bad about having a convenient way to get to the FM? I'm not of the opinion that convenience = bad and everything exactly as GMS was is how things should be.
