They should be really expensive tho

 

It's possible in principle to take stats from one item and appearance from another (overwrite stats of the apperance item) but the problem is some stats like weapon speed are client sided and cannot be overwritten by the server. I guess you could make duplicates of weapons, with all possible weapon speeds they might be overwritten with but that's alot of work. And if there's more stats with the problem like weapon speed, it gets exponentionally worse.
