General items drop rate thread

are stirges supposed to drop 60% knuckle?
I checked BBB-HS, and it wasn't listed.
But have found 4+

 

the item drops from turkey commandos seem awfully low, i remember in 2008 GMS hunting turkeys around henesys, I could rack up about 80 cranberries and maybe 150 gravy in about 1 to 2 hours of hunting. Hardly feels worth hunting turkeys at all, tbh.

 

I think the drop rate for turkeys may be ok.. the point probably shouldn't be to try to get a ton of free pots on this server. What you want are the eggs!

Can Botdex 60s have just a tad bit higher drop rate? The spawn rate for the mob sucks and you gotta wait for the last 2 components to spawn and kill to completely clear it from the map.

 

Can we get a small increase in the drop rate of Wild Kargo's Spirit Rock (Quest Item). Or maybe an increase in the spawn of Kargo's in 'Wild Kargo's Area (Theres at most 9 in the map, compared to the 50 cold eyes :\ )



Also, map is spelled incorrectly.

 

Not really complaining but I've been hunting at Red Wyverns for 7-8 hours and and I still haven't gotten the Battleship Cannon 30 skillbook. Maybe I'm just unlucky but a friend of mine also hunted there for 2-3 hours to help me obtain it, still nothing.
The map/mob are already awful, so is the spawn rate T_T.
I'm curious as to what it's droprate is and I suggest to buff it slightly :c.

Diary: 9th Page !

Orbis PQ has a quest related item ('The record of Goddess Minerva' quest) that it's drop rate is surely bugged... as for now its ultra rare which means 0.01% getting it is impossible i have tried many times. the other 9 pages (pages 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,10) are easily obtained and I have 3 of each.. but never seen the 9th page. Not only me, other players suggest the same - now there is no clear reason as for why would they give such an Item an ultra rare drop rate... Dont know.

Please make the 9th page of Orbis PQ obtainable cuz we cannot clear that quest!
My suggestion is dropping it to a normal rarity.

Support me if you think Im right and let the admins confirm.

Been hunting mr.anchors and grupins for a day or so for a deadly fin(lvl 60 dagger)and i got all drops but the fin itself..
Also dragon's tail(lvl 80 dagger) drops by lvl 100 mobs which doesn't make much sense cuz it makes it impossible for u to hunt it yourself upon closing in to 80.

 

It's not the second best glove in the game by far. Sure it has some watk, but it's only 5 slots, you'll only ever get 1 shot to scroll one, and it's untradable. Which basically makes it worthless.

Statistically, any plain work glove is a better option simply by virtue of sheer volume you can scroll. Then there are the gloves your class can use which provide stats, flamekeeper gordons, and brown work gloves.

*rises from grave* Wouldn't fixing the wall make bosses not pinnable anymore? I feel like that's what would happen, but I guess I don't have proof of it. If so then RIP Bigfoot bois

 

Nah. Basically it would just be redefining what areas the monsters are allowed to go in. Once they reach the edge of that area, they still get knocked into it, just as if they were pinned on the edge of a platform.
