Monster Carnival PQ for NX rewards, not EXP.

    gachapon tickets and NX coupon drops more frequently in these party quests arena.
    you compete for Carnival Points which will contribute towards your reward.

    Monster Carnival 1 & (Monster Carnival 2?)
    Only 1 game cilent per user IP can enter.
    add some governmence to prevent trading of wins
    Selling of wins: illegal (maybe)
    Daily limit on party quest runs

    MCPQ 1:
    winning them: 500 NX,
    +250NX bonus per every 150 CP,
    (I.E: winning team: 344CP, = 500+250+250, total reward +1000 NX)
    losing team: 250NX,
    +100 NX per 150 CP

    I actually think this is a great idea. Rewards could be tweaked, but fundamentally the idea is solid. MCPQ is a nostalgic part of pre-BB MS which is conspicuously missing from the server. On the other hand, the server could really benefit from a PQ that is accessible to all levels, similar to GPQ, HPQ, and APQ. Moving the reward away from XP/mesos and to NX could help deal with the issue of MCPQ surpassing other PQs.

    MCPQ's structure as a PvP PQ makes it vulnerable to low player count, so I'd like to see it become available for a limited time each month. Maybe one weekend per month.

    MCPQ would be great for guild events too. that being said, i dont think anything will convince kimmy, she's pretty clear on her preference on MCPQ

    looking at loggin screen and channel sellect is nostalgicly satisfied enough to me, the game will never be the same
    it was very fun around 2017-2019, now everyone is too old

    Unironically I think this is a nice idea in theory, but multiclienting just makes sure this will never happen, gg.

    Plus the effort required to watch and make sure not a single person goes unpunished for win trading seems... unrealistic, to say the least.

    I like the out-of-the-box thinking, so while I disagree, I do so respectfully. I think it should be a limited-time event where people can either play for fun (no rewards) or sign up for a tournament where the winner of the tournament gets a big prize (10,000 NX + other stuff) and/or a new NPC similar to Honorable Rock that heralds the greatest CPQ champions.

    To reduce the advantage of multi-clienting, you could adjust the rewards based on the total amount of points from both teams combined (as well as a certain ratio between both teams). This way, even if someone attempts to multi-client, playing both characters simultaneously would be nearly impossible.
    • Modifying the monster spawn amount could also help prevent the 'hold down one button and kill' tactic.
    • Additionally, making the spawn points even more random throughout the map would add another layer of difficulty.
    • The ratio of points should stay within a certain threshold, but the total amount of points should be high enough to reflect different ranks for winning, which would make low participation, win trading less rewarding.
    I believe that with a few tweaks to the game design, we could make this system more fair and reduce the impact of multi-clienting!

    LOL always with the nerfs. CPQ would be fine in this server who really cares about lvls 31-50 .... they're the worst levels. Who even cares if you trade wins...... yay you're closer to lvl 50???? LPQ is boring and not worth the time. Once you get over the nostalgia ellin is better although still slow.

    I think the worst levels are from 101-120 because there's nothing to do but grind. LPQ is the only PQ that offers an equip in the Eye Accessory slot until CWKPQ, which is minimally a 60 level difference. CPQ made all other PQs in the 31-50 range completely obsolete - and that's the worst thing you can do to a game is make aspects of it obsolete. That's not to say there aren't several aspects of this game that are plagued with obsolescence, but there's no need to add to it.

    Now, I will say that if I had the opportunity to take my 12 characters through CPQ to level them up faster, I would have done it! But it would have come at the expense of my love of questing. I also have storage mules that are only level 11-25 right now. If I could bring them into CPQ to level them all up to 50, I could abuse the hell out of them! So, I will respectfully disagree with you. There are a multitude of reasons why if you want to level super quickly, especially multiple characters, you're going to have to leech your own characters - which is slower and a lot less fun.

    trade-win should be bannable thats what staffs thoughts, but more works for them which is not possible anyway so you get it

    I play local server as kid with the rate 0.25x drop, 1x exp. where any single piece of equipments is treasure and rare, people praise others for their effort getting it, trading with different class gears, colours, etc... it feel like it was real a fantasy game.
    when CPQ release everyone's there, it became the black hole of universe, all LPQ and KPQ sucked in. Its easy, fun, high rewarding. after a month the game feel empty and lot less like it before, the over competing culture at Cpq ruined the whole community. The end!

    We don't need more noob traps in the game. LPQ is already making all the new players much more poor than they should be.

    Poor? I don't remember coming out of LPQ poorer - and I did it with all 12 of my chars back-to-back. There's plenty of capes to NPC. I think each of my characters came away with at least 3M mesos more than they started after they got their LPQ glasses.

    The difference is quite staggering, and this is generally my point when I recommend against buffing EXP at PQ's instead of a monetary value increase.

    I can see your point. Back then, however, we were still buying Gach Tix with Vote Cash, so I honestly don't know. If the Gach Tix dropped as decently as they do as I've been grinding my twelve from 100-120, I think it would be hard to determine. There's a lot of trash in Gach. So, honestly, I'm not sure.

    Honestly, I could see this or some other PQ added for levels 100-120, they are the WORST levels.
    I always wanted some PQ for 100-120 (even the one at the top of the clock tower in the town of Ludibrium could work) to change the dynamic a bit. There used to be a PQ revamp thread that had some amazing ideas, to improve so many close-to-dead PQs like MPQ... and I think they proposed better sectioning of the PQs by the level range among other many positive exp and rewards changes.
    Anyways like many proposals, even if a lot of people want something to be done about it, it does not seem like they'll ever take any action on these matters.

    I was just thinking of making a suggestion about LMPQ the other day. It's really weird how that PQ overlaps sooo many other PQs and doesn't even feature mobs from Ludi. It has Tauromacis from Sleepywood! LMPQ should be 100-120 and have mobs from Deep Ludi.

    Adding in CPQ wouldnt get rid of LPQ you can still get your glasses. Why would i choose to do a slower exp method if my goal is to level quicker like many other people marginally cheaper if not free besides time? You're right lvl 100-120 suck hence people leech or try to find a training partner. Who cares if you get to lvl 51 quicker.... what does that change?? You're making my point for me this population is smaller and those levels still suck but at least you can have some fun for almost free instead of spending mesos and leeching it also has a pendant.
