My time has come

For each and every last one of us there will come a day when we log on to MapleLegends for the very last time. For some of us that day is far in the future, but for me that day is today.

My main reason for quitting is because I have a tendency to get extremely absorbed to one thing. Since July, I have been addicted to this game and my real life performance has, as much as I would like to deny it, suffered. I work 60 hours a week, have real-life relationships to maintain, and those have just become too incompatible with the amount of time I pour into this game.

My secondary (and far less important ) reasons for quitting are that I simply don't enjoy it as much. My best in-game friend was banned for duping, and it really sucks when all the mesos in the world can't buy you gun30 scrolls Kappa

And unfortunately, my personality is not such that I can simply "play less". I always strive to be the best at what I do, and playing less will end up leaving me with a constant nagging feeling that I am falling behind in the game. And as arrogant and flawed as that may be, it is who I am; cutting out the game completely is my best option.

My mesos and gear have been given out (or will be later today) to my best friends and guildmates whose company I have enjoyed. But thanks to everyone for making my experience great.

P.S., I still get people accusing me of duping. Horseshit. I have played this server with as much integrity as anyone out there. Yeah I made a shitton of mesos, but every last one was legit.
