Osslock (3rd Job Challenge)

Rules

1. No 4th Job.
2. Must restrict gameplay (with the exception of obtaining hair, eye, etc) to the following areas unless otherwise state;

• Victoria Island (Lith Harbour, Perion, Ellinia, Henesys, Kerning City, Nautilus Harbour, Sleepywood, Amoria, and Florina Beach.)
• Orbis
• El Nath (Preemptive No LHC)
• Ludibrium (No Ellin)
  
• Omega Sector
• Aqua Road
• Korean Folk Town
• Mu Lung (No Herb)

3. You may not trade/receive/loot mesos, items, or gachapon tickets from characters not within the Ossyria Lite Lock. (You may NOT trade/receive/loot mesos, items, or gachapon tickets from Islanders/Victoria Locked characters).
4. Gachapon is allowed.
5. Partying/Expeditions/Bossing must only be done between 3rd job characters and bellow, regardless of whether they are in the challenge or not.
6. No leeching.
7. No buff muling/benefiting from other player's buff mules.
8. No multi client farming. While the use of alts & secondary characters is allowed, simultaneous farming of items, mesos, events, exp, etc is forbidden.
9. You can only get married to another osslock character. You may not marry your own secondary osslock character.

Rules may be subject to change based on community input & exceptions may be added for events on a case to case bases.

8/7/2022 - Added "Expeditions/Bossing" to rule 5.
8/7/2022 - Improved wording in rule 3 to insure no receiving, trading, or looting mesos/items from outside the lock is clear.
8/8/2022 - Preemptively added "No LHC" under El Nath.
8/29/2022 - Added rule 8.
9/26/2022 - Updated rule 2 to include broader language for the purpose of encompassing all elements of gameplay to the restricted areas.

2/14/2023 - Added Rule 9. Only applies as of 2/14/2023 onward.
4/16/2023 - Added rule 10. The last event was unique from the 2 previous events we have participated in, where level 8 characters were able to do the raffle. With the sub level 30 raffle having a 50%+ chance to receive a completable raffle, these new conditions made it extremely easy and rewarding to mass mule the event. While placing restrictions on events was negatively viewed when discussed in the past, I ultimately feel it is a needed element moving forward. I do my best with the rule set to maintain a casual playing experience & minimize the fomo of min maxing multi character/client advantages. While not all advantages can be mitigated, mass muling the raffle is clearly not an aspect that should be allowed moving forward.
5/6/23 - Added Mushroom Shrine as 5 osslockers hit level 125. All weapon 30s with the exception of spear should now be farmable.
6/7/23 - Changed the wording of rule 10 to encompass all raffle-esque event content.
6/11/23 - Removed Rule 10. Legends events too complicated to effectively try policing.

 

Eventually once we come to accept Ossyria is not an option & start a civil war with each other over the name.
