7/14/24

Time for another ancient update.

So, Ellin Forest got an update. New areas and new bosses. So, I decided to explore.

First thing I did was fight some fairies within a purple portal.


Slight damage, and chances to poison me. Stuff I can shake off easily.

Everyone in town told me about Ephinea, the Fairy Queen, including Athena Pierce. All I learned was something happened to her.


So, I decided to help out, while everyone was calling me "Kao." First, by defeating some Primative Boars, and their tougher counterparts located in a cave to the west of Altaire Camp.

The boss boar, known as Chao, was one of my targets.



Took care of them as quick as I could, and got a decent amount of EXP from completing the quest.



Later, I learned why Ephinea does not want to be friends with anyone. Because she is working with someone called the Black Mage.



Don't know who this Black Mage is, but he sounds like someone I can learn from. Then again, I probably forgot who he is as I may have had too much beer after I first arrived in Ellin Forest.

I have yet to fight Ephinea because I need another party member that has completed the quest. So, I don't know how long that will take. I also need to decide if I want to train some more or wait.

As of now, I feel like I need a vacation from training so much.

 

7/21/24

So, aside from extensive training with another person, which I thank him with helping me with training, I decided to confront Ephinea back in Ellin Forest.


She was actually easier than I thought. The only real challenge was the timer, and the stun spam. They weren't kidding when they said she has high Defense. Seduce wasn't too bad. Lasts for a short time, and she doesn't use it often. Even so, I still have to keep up my health from getting too low.

After my fight with Ephinea, I had to report to Athena Pierce, in which she upgraded my Ellin Ring into an Ephinea Ring, as well as giving a handful of EXP.


I decide to finish up the updated Ellin Forest quests for the hell of it, and learned that I might have changed history a bit.


Damn.

Aside from that, I had to return the history book back to Wiz the Librarian, and deliver a letter I got from Destonen to Kyrin, from Boulder Mountain back to Nautilus. With that, bringing the end to the updated Ellin Forest Questline.


So, that's the update for my journey. Now it's back to 7F.

 

7/28/24

Just reached Level 180 today. Feels great to be at such a high level. Though I can't help but feel a bit sad. Mostly because I am going on a vacation from training.

Feels like I'm going to retire from the game, but that is far from it. I won't stop playing permanently. Just need a long break, after training at 7F for so long, along with some side tracking and quests.

I also decided to take my Bishop with me to enjoy the sunlight together, and of course, my pet, Chupi II.

We decided we were going to Florina Beach as a vacation spot. Soak up the sunlight, dance with the locals, and catch some R&R.

I apologize for my deletion of the last post. I wanted to vent a little bit. 7F was really busy today. But thankfully, I was able to get a spot and train for one hour.

Training has been harder since the DDoS attacks, and I kept missing out on lots of EXP, either from procrastination, or worrying about the DDoS attack.

Anyway, here's something funny.

 

11/22/24

Small update. Better than no update at all.



Bought myself a 14 WATK glove to give me a little more damage. Had to sacrifice a little STR to gain back the lost 3 points of Accuracy to hit Golden Giants.

I still have enough mesos to keep buying Ginseng Potions, and I can gain it back by just continuing to train, so I ain't worried. As long as my apprentice stays with me.

As for the Halloween event that is going on, I probably should try and stay on a bit longer to gain more Pumpkin Coins. I need to upgrade my Zombie Army Ring, or at least try to with the 75% chances.

 

11/30/24 - 12/1/24

So, the Halloween event. I have been farming enemies for pumpkin coins just for a couple of stuff, including cosmetics.



First off, I got a sick and wicked hairdo called the Demon Hair. I gotta say, I look more goth with this hairdo. And for some reason, I want to listen to some hardcore rock music with this hair.

Second, got a new face since I got bored with the last one I had. This one is called the Hilla face. I've explored all of Maple World, and I have no idea who Hilla is. All I know is, I have her face, which looks a lot cooler. I was going to get the Mischievous Devil Face, but that one looked ugly in my opinion, and as much as a demon myself, I prefer looking beautiful.

The best part, I can emote!

Short explanation: The last face I had only had one static face, kind of like a mask. I think that was because it was a mask.

Anyway, new look, same antics.

Wow. 3 months since I last updated my journey in the Maple World. Talk about procrastinating.

Anyway, just thought I'd share this.

I caved and put my SP into the new Aura of the Beholder. Wanted to try it out.


I would have love to tell the rest of the members of Toilet, but they are probably asleep. What I wanted to tell them was, I said I was going to wait until they got rid of Damage Reflect on Aura, but I couldn't keep hoarding my SP much longer, and I was curious about the new Atk Speed buff it had. So far, I'm loving the increased Atk Speed. As for the Stun, it takes some getting used to. Though it is easier to get enemies in a bunch.

Also, I shouldn't have to worry about accidentally angering enemies in an occupied channel since I usually let my Bishop scout areas ahead of me to see if it is vacant of other players.

And so my training in China, 7F continues. Only because it still offers better EXP. Skeles only benefit my Bishop, and I still can't defeat them in one hit. Probably need more TMA.

Quick Update



Tested out the new Aura on some bosses, and by that, I mean these two giant fish. Oh, and other locations too.

Looks like I'll be having fish for dinner tonight.
