stackable ciders

    with the recent nerf to party bears it led to buff of ciders being stackable

    I think this is pretty op as it gives every class a free rage buff(20wa) without clogging up use slots and being basically free.

    this renders rage a pretty useless party buff.

    suggest reverting this change

    party bears were 300nx to use them consistenly you would lose out on ap resets and nx stuff

    apples cost 2mil for 10minutes

    the cider buff is an even better version of rage with the 5minute duration and 1k meso cost

    What? Non-thief characters already have to carry a shit ton of pots. What do you mean without clogging up their inventory?

    Am I going to carry healing pots or attack pots? Hm..

    If anything, it makes heroes more relevant.

    Or even better, revert it back to non-stackable!

    Try bringing enough ciders to run 2 full ht runs along with enough pots or tons of throwing stars. They'll clog up plenty enough

    night lords have plenty of avoid and alchemist so they dont require as much use slots for two ht runs.

    With these changes just requires 4 inventory slots of ciders would last u 2hrs+ enough for two runs of horntail

    Horntail is not the only thing in the game as well there are party quests, other bosses,grinding that ciders can be used rendering rage useless. Would not mind if they added different flavours of cider that gives hb buff, se, si ,haste thank you gms.

    What about Dragon Blood? you lose hp in-order to keep its effect plus receive only a 12 att buff plus its a self-buff.

    Night lords are actually THE class which takes up most USE slots in fact. 20-24 stars is a safety net to survive through 2 horntail runs which in the event of mass-dc/deaths can result in 2hour runs. To be honest, I don't think 24 stars is even enough (I actually ran out of stars before during run 2 which unfortunately dragged to the last second of HT). Even if alchemist was reverted back to a 1.5x buff duration (and ciders lasting for a total of 7.5 minutes), it will require at least 16 ciders to last 2 hours. That's considering a safety net for 1 run. Take two runs, 2 hours each, that will amount to 32 ciders.

    Maximum USE slot is capped at 48 in the game for now. How will a nightlord bring 32 ciders to ensure 2 fully-cidered horntail runs if they do not bring enough stars to even last two 2-hour runs?

    Thats excluding a minimum amount of HP potions (for every 2 hours, take 200-250 per run?) and MP potions, not including All-cure potions which take up a minimum of one slot.

    Anyway 4 slots is definitely not enough to last 2 horntail runs if you actually did the math.

    120 minutes divided by 7.5 minutes = 16 ciders.
    240 minutes = 32 ciders.
    If 1 slot can hold 5 ciders, you need a minimum of 7 slots for 32 ciders.

    That's if you take 1.5x alchemist. Now that its 1.25x, each cider only lasts 6.25 minutes. Hence every 2 hours will require 19.2 ciders. That's a total of 38.4 ciders for two 2-hour horntail runs. 38.4 ciders divided by 5 per slot = 8 slots.

    If anything, the nerf of weather buffs actually ENCOURAGE the inclusion of heroes and rage in party-play due to the lack of slots made available for ciders.
    HOWEVER like TS mentioned, with the recent change to 5-cider per slot, one may actually bring enough ciders just to last two 2-hour horntail runs.

    Personally I do encourage heroes to be in party-play due to their cleave DPM and I am not sure if making ciders 5-per-slot will actually hinder squad organisers from inviting heroes into their runs.

    We have our very own hero in our 6-man horntail squad who dishes out a shit-ton of cleave DPM significantly speeding up the run and we do utilise his rage when we run out of weather buffs. I also know another 6-man squad with a hero who does ~1 hour horntail runs. Still don't believe rage is the only utility that makes heroes inclusive in runs.

    Cider gives 20 weapon attack, doesn't it?

    Is that really so important? Coke Pills give 15 atk/matk and they can stack to like 100 or so. So just use them?

    Doesn't really make much sense tho if you have to give up slots for stars which sacrifice millions of damage and prevents people from bossing if they run out of them.
    Kind of stupid.

    Wait... cider lasts for 5 minutes, and 5 per stack so thats's 100 minutes and not even 2 hours :eek:

    Please tell me it’s not 200-250 honsters per run. That’s pretty OP for a range char if it is. I’m using around 1k-1.2k per run on a 10k hp char. Some pot usage may be due to player skill issue, but that’s still a yuge difference. I think NLs are fine the way they are.

    hi i realise u guys keep putting horntail as the only thing that cider affects but it also affects areas outside ht.

    It also affects other aspects of the game like training with 20wa buff giving every class their own rage. other bosses that u can easily sacrifice a few inv slots. an option would be to buff heroes rage or enrage.
