[Summer Event] Jump Quest

Here's a mini guide on the Event JQ:

So the first stage is pretty straight forward, be careful on the last jump, i've missed that a good number of times ^^


The second stage is a bit trickier. The ^ is where you have to hit the cat and jump as the cat comes down to hit back. You need to be on the rise as the cat hits you, this way you'll get some upward momentum and you'll land on the left platform. This doesn't work if you just stand still. It definitely takes a couple practice tries but once you get the hang of it, it's pretty forgiving.


The third stage is definitely the trickiest. Go to the ^ and stand at the edge, you'll have to time this near perfectly. When the cat comes down and hits, you have to be right at the start of the jump so you have the full upward momentum to get across.
Notes: If you get shot straight into the right wall, you jumped too late. If you get launched in a downward angle, you jumped too early.

Once across, talk to the NPC signpost and then go through the arrow at the bottom. There are two boxes on this side of the map. If you're short on time you can get the far right most box first as you won't have to deal with spikes


That's all there is to it! Once you get to the end portal you can exchange 5 boxes to get a heartwarming box <3

What's your best time on this JQ?
Mine is 1:50 after getting all 4 boxes

 

This is typically what i do, so there's no dispute on who gets the boxes. Gepetto's job is just to get to the end portal and wait. Also a tip: As Gepetto, you won't get hurt by any of the JQ traps
