I understand what you mean. However, "many are not happy" is the minority of the poll that was created for this post. The majority are in favor of the this decision.

 

Why are you under the illusion we want the market to be overflown with these scrolls?
Cordons are best in slot for mages. You see those everywere? I don't. I have a few on my mule though because I farmed for over 300 hours for them. You think if I would farm 300 hours for 5 white scrolls that would be overflow the market?

 

Noone here wants to ruin the server kim, we completely understand that if a surplus of white scrolls were added to the game it would ruin the entire server forever.
We are not arguing this to make it easy to progress in the game and achieve perfect items, we are simply trying to make it possible through long time dedication and hard work.
Every single person that I have talked with about this agrees that it should take a time investment of up to and over a year to even achieve 1 perfect item, but if it is completely impossible (and it currently is, lets be honest) it removes any motivation that long time players have for continuing to play the game and improve their characters.

I even mentioned earlier in a conversation with friends that I fully understand that there needs to be safeguards when a system like this is implemented and that white scrolls in particular will probably have such a low drop rate that they are basically impossible to find at first and then be tweaked upwards to ensure that it doesn't flood the server by making the rate too high at first.

 

That's impossible to determine. The poll isn't that precise. The same option covers both 30% helm HP and white scrolls. There is no way for you to know if people voted for that option for one or the other.

 

Silly Kimberly, you don't get unlimited slots with white scrolls. You just have unlimited chances with white scrolls. Perhaps giving items a white scroll limit would be interesting? You could also have someone pay a mesos to add to the limit of uses of white scrolls on an item? This would prevent too many mesos from getting into the economy.

 

It's fairly obvious she meant chances, not slots. Nitpicking doesn't really generate any interesting discussion. I'm not sure about those suggestions tho, chance of you scrolling 5x10% is 0.00001%. That's a lot of white scrolls. Unless something went terribly wrong and market got flooded, white scrolls would be only used for last slots on super rare items.

 

Maybe this is unnecessary for me to say this, but on average it only takes 50 white scrolls, 50 10% scrolls, and one equip to perfectly scroll an item with 5 slots.

But if white scrolls are not as common as toilet paper, people are likely to land 2x 30% scrolls or a 10% and a 30% first before finishing up with white scrolls and 10%s.

 

Just correcting here in case someone fails the discussion. Technically I have no idea where you came up with your answer. But if we're talking about in conjunction with white scrolls, it would take about 10 white scrolls (using 10%s to hit one). On an item with 10 slots, that's 100 white scrolls give or take since it's random and 100 10% scrolls give or take. If Zakum always dropped one white scroll, and you were the only one who was allowed to loot it. It would still take 100 runs to finish one piece of equipment. that would be fifty days and the thing is, you can't die the entire time. The 5X10%s would have to be the chances of you hitting five ten %s in a row.

 

This ^ Because it doesn't make much sense (especially for the first slot). Still, it would take a lot of white scrolls. 25 days, not counting the price of the 10% scrolls. 10%s would probably go up in price (obviously).

 

Seems like everyone has voiced their opinions, we might as well wait to hear what the GMs have to say when they decide what's going to happen

Make white scrolls only available in GM events. Also, make them untradable after obtained so that way no one could make profit off of them. So if you get one from an event, its yours and you could only use it for yourself.

 

I dont like that idea because Events Most likely not Held when I play active cause timezone
And why shouldnt it be tradeable ? Why restrict the market ? There is No point

"What's the point of grinding/farming when you can just earn money by playing a different game and voting for legends to gach?" That's the way of thinking of some people and this makes the server's population not increase sadly

 

I really don't like this idea because a lot of people don't do the events because of how bad and repetitive they are. I'd only like to see the event prizes buffed if the GMs can come up with some none-shit events.
