Timeless Moonlight is a level 150 end game cape that is in direct competition with but falls short of the level 90 Crimsonheart Cloak.

What isn't featured in the screenshot for Timeless Moonlight is that upon leveling it up (to a maximum of 5 times), the cape gains +1 STR/DEX/INT/LUK, for a total of +5 to each stat at level 5 (assuming hidden street bbb values are to be trusted).

Even after taking the time to max out Timeless Moonlight's level, the level 90 Crimsonheart Cloak still has a higher potential for stats because of the increased number of upgrades available. This is despite the fact that Crimsonheart Cloak is a) easier to obtain b) doesn't require leveling to achieve its maximum potential c) can be worn at a lower level and d) can be traded despite being previously worn.

It doesn't make sense for Timeless Moonlight to be outclassed by Crimsonheart Cloak, given the hoops one would have to jump through to bring it to a similar potential to its lower leveled alternative.

I am proposing that the maximum number of upgrades available on the Timeless Moonlight be increased from 5 to 8, to match those of the Crimsonheart Cloak.

If this change were to be implemented, Crimsonheart Cloak would still retain its standing as a tradeable (and sellable) low-level end-game cape, but would require a lucky roll on the stats (+5 to all stats against the +4 average) to match the potential of Timeless Moonlight. Another big plus is that it remains tradeable after equipping it.

Timeless Moonlight would then take its place as a true end-game cape, requiring time investment through leveling the item up to guarantee the exact stats found on a maximum potential lower leveled Crimsonheart Cloak, and not more. Investing into this cape would be solely for the character that equips it, as it loses its trade functionality after use.

This change would not add power creep to the server, as 5/5/5/5 capes with 8 slots already exist in the form of maximum potential Crimsonheart Cloaks.
