    So, recently returned for a bit of fun & ran into someone who tried selling maps to people, multiple people do it apparently.

    Should this even be allowed? Its pretty disgusting. I've seen it be taken as a bannable action on other servers, whats the take on it here now?

    My opinion: Ban it & Ban the people trying to do it.

    It's what happens when there is limited supply and excess demand. If I really needed a map, I would offer to buy one if everything was full.

    A better solution is to just increase the channels.

    If the channels need to stay the same, this is going to happen regardless. People will want to sell / buy ANYTHING that is scarce and in high demand. Making this a bannable offence is silly in my opinion.

    You as seller can sell anything you want what happens in-game. People sell FM spots, and people can sell maps. If someone (the buyer) does want a map, and wants to use in-game currency to do so, I don't see what's wrong with it.

    If you scam, or buy it with real world currency however its not allowed.

    I take it the same as fm spots. U want a good spot and u didnt have enough luck / was fast enough? Buy one or use a worse spot. Its not like players can train in one specific location, its not limiting lvling.

    In gms people even sold JQ services (which here is bannable duo to account sharing)

    I'd like to hijack this thread to ask how trading irl drawings for mesos is allowed but trading irl currency for mesos is not?

    It's basically the same thing, it's something of value irl traded for something of value Ingame.

    If it was that, everyone would be lagging, which is right now not the case. We are very sure its because of the oversensitivity of our protection, which we hope to improve in near future.

    You are still 100% correct that adding more channels do cost more 'power'/data, so you are not wrong there. However, we personally believe the current lag for some users is unrelated to the game source itself, rather our host/DDoS protection.

    In all honestly; I literally have no problems with it. If the buyer wants to buy with his/her own mesos something, what's the problem with it? Right now the command is called @mapowner and you are not allowed to kill steal a map that you own, so as owner of a map you can sell it to someone if he/she want pay mesos to do so; which is up to the buyer

    I think this will go only for GS2 anyway, because skele has space (and a dungeon), as well as Nest Golems. So if I had to guess people only sell Ghost Ship maps atm?
