Female Buccaneers attack faster in demolition than male buccaneers

Description of the bug: For some reason, female buccaneers come in and out sooner compared to males when using demolition, therefore attacking faster (and also having more iframes overall as a result)
What is supposed to happen?: Not sure why females and males attack at different speeds, they should be equal.
Where did you find and/or notice this bug?: When KurayamiLove asked me to test/confirm it, I got Dannimals to stream it for me to watch from her perspective, and it was indeed faster. I got other people watching me/dannimals as well and they say it's noticeable.
Extra information: I don't think it's a character bug, if KurayamiLove/Dannimals seem to attack faster than Nagrom/MeleeSmash.

I could provide video evidence but knowing that Davi plays a bucc all that needs to be done is to get him to play-test a female buccaneer to confirm (when he has the time of course).

This is working as intended, to make up for the wage gap men have been rightfully nerfed.

Demolition got a speed buff looooong ago but what I think is that Kimberly got the intended speed buff on her GM char (female) and for some reason, he doing the buff male didn't get all the speed that he should have gotten. So I say is better to make it even, make males faster to match females and then they both will be equally strong.

 

I did the testing and I got: 26 demolitions per min as male 30 as female. This is very big since demolition damage is huge.

Just FYI, I'm not really disagreeing with you, I just think this post deserves all the marks and the "Disagree" one wasn't active yet. You don't suppose the designers thought that giving female characters better attacks might make females want to play the game more? As if they didn't figure that choosing the sex of your character was not dependent on the sex of your real life self?

Making female attacks faster seems more of many oversights that the designer had while making the game since this thing only affects one specific job with a specific skill while the rest are the exact same. While making the different modes of both transformation seems animation-wise they didn't do it perfectly even, only for this attack. Transformation has a lot of issues like Drain speed being severely slower while transformed or the limitations it has like you can't even trade. Later on, all this was fixed and made it even for all genders as well as removing all transformation limitations. In my opinion real equality comes from equal opportunities rather than from "positive discrimination"

 

Except that the Pirate classes came out last and were a very recent addition to the version 0.62 platform we are playing on, so while the argument that it was only an oversight because of one specific class is possible, it is less likely an oversight in this case because the first four classes had been used since Alpha and the gender gaps of players was yet a realization. I can easily speculate that since the Marriage feature is a good source of money for Neckson, and the Marriage function only works at peak efficiency if the genders are balanced, and at the time there were many more male characters than female, it would behoove Neckson to give their new female pirate classes an advantage.

 

How did this become a conspiracy? It’s just a bug.
