Reduce the Price of Basic Potions

    As a new player that didn't know about Grilled Cheese price adjustments until recently, I have wasted a lot of mesos on Mana Elixirs.

    Grilled Cheese costs 500 mesos for 500 HP & MP, or a 1:1 MP:Meso ratio.
    Mana Elixirs costs 620 mesos for 300 MP, or a 1:2.07 MP:Meso ratio (Excluding Ellinia/Ludi)
    White Potions costs 320 mesos for 300 HP, or 1:1.07 HP:Meso ratio

    Suggestion
    Reduce the price of Red/Orange/White Potions, apple, Eggs, Meat by 25%, giving them a ratio closer to 0.75:1 HP:Meso.
    Reduce the price of Blue Potions, Mana Elixirs, Oranges and Lemons by 50%, giving them a ratio closer to 1:1 HP:Meso
    Add Grilled Cheese information to MapleTips

    What do you mean price adjustments? These are vanilla prices still as far as I am aware.

    Shouldn't Grilled Cheese be 1,000 mesos?
    Its all good now but I feel like an idiot for using Mana Elixirs for the past 50 levels.

    No. However, it seems Neckson changed this, later on, not sure when. The NPC price being 250 further suggests the original sale price was 500 mesos.

    NLC is renown for having lower priced pots. The Barbarian and Sorcerer Elixirs, for example, are a cornerstone to pot-to-meso management. The % pots later on save well below a 1:1 ratio when you're high enough in level. The payoff is NLC requires a payment just to get there (via subway or NLC Return Scrolls) and back (via subway). It also requires patience to use the subway. There are other 1:1 pots found in Singapore & Malaysia, too, but the cost to fly there and back should also be a factor. Overall, if you buy in bulk, these pots are the way to go, but regular Victoria Island pots are more convenient given their price. I strongly recommend picking up pots dropped by mobs and using them - they are the cheapest and significantly reduce your pots costs through 1st and 2nd Job. If you ever decide to farm cards in 3rd Job, these pots keep your costs down to nothing.

    As for OP, the pot prices are not going to be decreased because mesos gaining is as easy as it is already on this server. Knowledge is power!

    I thought they're talking about the gap between NLC/Malasya Potions to vanilla potions, specially %, but seems like not o.o
    Tbh i agree with a potion price reduction on higher HP/MP potions, like sunrise dew and cheese (4khp one), isn't it more expensive than ginger ale? (75%/75%).
    Or a increase on NLC ones, as a bishop you use only one every 8 genesis, only on the MP ones and it isn't going to hurt other people without mages
