Hi, I am a new player in this server and i just started to play in this server few hours ago, I am playing a magician and having some financial problem in this server , need some helps in this game =] , would appreciate any pots or equips or mesos, my IGN is DonutAngel , and will be online now

 

Shinohara What do you think about changing this service from "a 500k gift" to a 500k loan? The playerbase is increasing rapidly (recently hit 700 users) and it'll be kind of hard to help all of them. Making it into a loan makes it so that you can use the money to help multiple people.

New player 1 pays u back, you loan the money to new player 2, and it helps everyone out. Also, If you are running out of mesos here, I've got some excess mesos (1mil) I can gift out.

There is merit in your suggested idea for sustainability though personally i'd like to provide a no-strings attached help to beginners as i do not like making others feel obliged to me(i'm also lazy to constantly track loans! )

Reducing the meso payout to 400k was one consideration that i noted back when our player ceiling reached 500 so that i can still help others.
In a worst case scenario, i can always temporarily close the request board to regain my capital before reopening!

 

I think closing is a bad idea because then the new players have to struggle through. We want to grow our community and this service really helps retain new players. (This server isn't easy to start without money, since its a low income server , and potions are relatively expensive!).

I'd say that reducing the Meso amount per person is the way to go in this case, (though i personally prefer sustainability via loans, as tracking wouldn't be too hard with an excel spreadsheet).
