15 WA from Hex is weaker than 60 WA from Heartstopper, so it will not override. Raw attack buffs do not stack with one another, the only one that does is the % buff from Echo with the highest active raw buff.

I've built my DK to be "medium" LUK, aka ~100 base LUK. It's mostly theorycraft because I'm missing a ton of gear and funding, but I think a LUK DK can actually put out pretty comparable effective DPM to a pure STR DK. If any more srs-mode DK mains want to weigh in that would be welcome

But the idea behind LUK is pretty simple:

LUK is the best stat because it gives avoid. Typically avoid is virtually useless for Warriors because your avoid is so low that adding a little bit more avoid is still worthless because afaik you need to hit a certain threshold of avoid for it to do anything, otherwise the game just gives you the guaranteed base dodge chance. However, DK has some bonus incentive in its kit that makes LUK a more attractive stat:
    • LUK also gives ACC (at a lower ratio than DEX) so it's not a 100% total dmg loss to spec your AP into (though to be fair IMO warriors don't need any ACC gear or stats by end game, you only need like 160 base which you essentially get for free from boss gear)
    • Max Hex of the Beholder gives +50 avoid, that's 150% more than Bless. It would be a shame to not utilize that additional 30 avoid in some way
    • DK is the most motivated of all classes to spec for defense for Zerk, so you'll likely get full TL gear including pendant, whereas other Warrior might opt for MoN because it's slightly more dmg.
    • Overall LUK scrolls are also crazy value with +5LUK +3 avoid, so land a few of those on your TL Taragon, and gain on typical +5 avoid from level ups and you'd get another big chunk of avoid here
    • Shoe Avoid Scrolls are also crazy value at +5Avoid +3Acc. Shoe Jump only gives 5 Jump 3 DEX (2.4 Acc, probably rounded down) and unlike Hero/Pally, DK has no weapons that require DEX. Tbh if ACC were more valuable in the end game, all Warriors should scroll shoes for Avoid because the damage gain from DEX is pretty dogwater and it costs $$$

I've only done a small amount of field testing, but Silver Spearmen is a great dummy to try out an avoid build on. They have 250 acc, the same as HT, and almost all bosses fall into ~250-300 acc.
    • At 155 avoid, I was getting hit 87.5% of the time out of 200 trials
    • At 268 avoid, I was getting hit 71.88% of the time out of 200 trials
So my avoid rate for most bosses increased by 125% from 12.5% to 28.12% just by adding 113 avoid into my build
    My Knock-back rate (% Hit-rate * % Stance Fail) theoretically decreased by 17.85% from 8.75% to 7.188%
Whether or not that translates into enough effective DPM to compensate for the lower STR remains to be seen, but just based on my naked eyeball you would need your lines to be pretty damn high to compensate for missing even 1 attack every minute due to getting knocked out of position, and that's not even factoring in the DMG loss from repotting Zerk. My LUK DK still hits ~25k lines at 176 and that's with maybe 200 coins worth of gear on. I think ideally you'd want to reach over 350 avoid, but I don't really know how the player-getting-hit formulas work.
