    Hello Everyone, I'm brand new to MapleLegends and Maple Pservers in general. Last time I played MapleStory OG was like 7+ years ago so with everything being a "new" refresher, a lot of stuff is brand new to me because it's a private server.

    I am going Bishop, I'm 25 Mage at the moment. Just would love to hear some tips and have some guidance as a new player (freshly new). I don't have any alts or things like that so I have 0 help. It seems like everyone around my level is just an alt and they have everything figured out, lol. Just get X item, go here, get X this/that, etc etc. Not knowing I'm brand new, I can't just get said items or what not. Keeping up with potions is a struggle in itself just because I'm broke. I'm not asking for hand-me-outs, just would like some guidance on what to do, what to focus on, etc etc.

    I am looking at questing guides and Mage guides, I'm following one right now for mage that it says go Lukless, which it's hard cause I can't wear equips but it says it pays off cause it's stronger and you can wear Elemental Wands/Maple. But at the same time, Idk how I can wear those given being brand new.

    I'm also seeing the term Washing and I have no clue what that is or what to do with it.

    I know I'm asking a lot and I'm trying to look in Forums and stuff to get all the info I can gather but it is still a lot and a lot is still left unsaid or is unclear to me. If anyone would like to help me out on tips so i can follow or help me in-game, either one I would definitely appreciate it! My ign is Prvdigy if you would like to get a hold of me in game.

    Welcome! Glad you made it.

    No need to worry at all about hp washing as a mage.

    Being lukless is the way to go even unfunded. There's an abundance of lukless weapons and if you can't afford one, send me a PM.

    Choosing mage as a first class is a good idea, because its really hard to mess it up! All you need to do is focus on increasing your level and making sure all of your stats go to INT.

    As a mage, you can literally go to 120+ naked while only using a maple weapon or elemental wand (that requires no luk). Also, dont worry about being able to afford these items because they are insanely cheap for clean / under average.

    You should be looking to progress your weapon as follows:
    lv30 -> green paintbrush (purchasable from showa town from npc)
    lv70 -> any elemental wand lv 70 (a few hundred k in FM)
    lv 130 -> elemental wand lv 130 (a few mil for an averagish one).

    If you see any int equips that u can afford, go ahead and buy it. But, as long as you have the above weapons you should be fine.

    What's the differences between Elemental Wand numbers? Aside from the higher ones being Level Requirements?

    Ah so buy any if I'm bishop, makes no difference. Cool! Does it matter between Wand or Staff?

    Staff requires luk, so you want to avoid elemental staff. Only go for elemental wand.
