Bring back funny reaction

Does this ability ever come back? Or just gone forever?

Feels like only two hours ago when I was able to share a laugh with strangers in this online community. I'll miss funny react, toxic or not, for allowing me to feel a little less isolated during these strange times.

 

Can you give a clear black and white for what abuse of reactions consist of then? Because it just sounds like it is down to interpretation and is in a grey area.

 

Mine appears to be completely removed without warning, perhaps a warning system could be useful

 

Please don't remove user's ability to react, or forum threads will start to resemble the first page of this thread.

With all due respect is kind of sad to see Funny gone, i didnt really USED it , but whenever i got funny it was like usually to compliment a good joke, or a funny meme, it feels like that's gonna be missing now all cuz of people who used toxic?

Idk if Kimmy will read this but i feel like taking out the Funny reaction definitely wasn't the best way to counter toxicity.

Sigh alright, I guess we can't have nice things. I don't mean to encourage toxic behaviour but funny react wasn't all negative..

 

I feel like alternatively, staff could've issued forum bans for people that were blatantly cyberbullying on here.

You were funnying/disagreeing posts at the speed of sound. You losing your reaction privileges is the only thing in this thread that does actually seem fair to me.

I mean my "speed of sound" is because i've been a lot more active on forums recently. Besides, I see you talk about me on discord all the time & you don't see me complain about it or sneak report people for "reacting" to my forum posts

This can be reciprocal via posts or reactions themselves.

 

You see players like Shivering getting banned for doing things other people are already doing like the 1 hour HT timer. Now you see porl getting his reactions permanently removed because he disagreed with Nise's apology? Reacted disagree on a few posts that he disagreed with? There's plenty of people who do this but because he dared to disagree with a staff post he's being selectively targeted is what it seems like from an outside perspective.

I used to think there was more going on that we just didn't have visibility into, but as more time passes and we see this happening more frequently I'm starting to think the rules are just being applied selectively to certain players when it is convenient or staff develops personal dislikes for specific individuals.
