Disallow macroing of attacks

I guess so. The thing is changes like this will always simply favor those with more PCs.

 

Agreed that this just further incentives multidevice over multiclient.

This also disproportionately hurts bucc barrelling, although people would probably adjust fairly quickly.

This seems like a logical next step considering the mage ult nerfs. I think it will be a bad change overall though. The extra pain to the very few multiattackers is not worth the extra annoyance to larger casual player base.

 

How much faster will your pinwheel have to be at Zak without macro?

 

Haven't tested a full run but I'd expect run time to increase by 5 or so minutes, and carpal tunnel. More realistically, I'd probably find some other way to do it efficiently again.

 

Some classes rely on macros to properly combo skills. This would essentially be a NL buff

 

I can't speak for others but I don't use macros when I multiattack. This change wouldn't affect me at all. Like already noted though, I do use multiPC which makes macros more or less irrelevant.

 

"I don't multiclient so lets make those who are have a worser experience" - that's basically what you are saying.
no details how to fix anything, which class it will effect? which combination of multiattackers chars will be affected? which combo benefit from macro ?
is there any single attackers that need macro for their combo and removing macro will nerf the class?
I Attack with BM+NL and this suggestion will not hurt me a little bit.
players this days just want nerf that buff that but don't give 5 min of though to the subject.

 

Macro isn't gonna do anything to disrupt pay2win users with multiple pcs and there's also probably better ways to discourage afk gameplay (redesigning fights and nerfing/removing pets come to mind). But requiring skills in a macro to be unique could be worth investigating.
