I'm Krylios just call me Kry since I make a lot of alts and mules. I actually started 2-3 weeks ago but I can't post my price check sheet before making 3 posts so here's 1 I guess.

Decided to try out legends because my friend invited me to play on private servers but then left me, also the one we played together got boring for me. Anyways my friend doesn't play anymore, it lasted all but 2 weeks*ish so his nostalgia has been satisfied I guess, but I had more fun than I thought I would so I decided to search around and found legends.

I haven't played MS for 12 years? ish. I remember quitting around the time CPQ was released mostly because I didn't actually like original MS that much honestly, but I did enjoy its community, but the original game had problems of P2W that I could see clearly way back then and took away my enjoyment ie. gachapon, and if I remember correctly the auction house where you could pay NX for in game items was where I drew the line and quit for good.

My fonder memories of the game was LPQing and OPQing spending hours trying to get a free channel, I don't really know why I guess I'm a masochist or a sadist since it was usually me denying people channels. Now on legends I mostly spend hours waiting for a party instead of a free channel. lol. (I'm crying inside not actually laughing out loud, please opq and mpq more I'm really bored waiting all the time.)

The main reason I moved on from Maplestory very quickly was probably because of WoW BC at the time, and starcraft BW, and then League as well when that came out around 2009. But I've honestly hated Neckson with quite a passion since a lot of fond memories of the games I played from Maplestory, Mabinogi, Vindictus, Dragonest, Kart Rider, and Audition(yeah that's a blast from the past) were ruined by their monetization decisions and general business decisions. I actually think modern day MS is a more polished game and probably would be more fun with all the content it provides granted if it wasn't ridiculously p2w and if their execution of making the reboot server wasn't so god awful.(also those new classes are ridiculously OP so their balancing needs a bit of work as well) But the concepts and added game mechanics are interesting and unique.

The main thing I hate about them is all those games had a lot of potential unrealized because of their incompetence. Because of my background in business, I don't like wasted potential, and I hate incompetence even more, especially if someone is being paid, therefore I have hated Neckson and haven't touched their games really other than maybe as a first taste. All the games I mentioned I usually only played for 2 weeks at most other than MS.

As you can tell I rant a lot, whether its text or out loud. That's due to my passion for games, correct monetization practice and complementary game design. Sometimes I stream while ranting, but now a days I mostly stream so that it feels like I'm doing something else while mindlessly grinding in legends or to see my mistakes if I'm raiding in FFXIV, which is the main game I play.

Anyways that's my short (lol.) introduction post. If you see me in game say hi, don't whisper ERP though, and don't add me unless we've talked for an amount of time. Hope you got to know me a bit better from this because I really need 2 more posts afterwards to post my price check spreadsheet.
