I decided to start HP washing at lvl 70 (hermit). I currently have 5 base int so I will have to add more base INT as I lvl. My goal would be 7.6k HP to be able to do HT without HB at around lvl 155. I am able to get 35 INT from equips. Untill lvl 70 I did not have more than 10 INT, so I did not gain extra mp.

Question 1: Is this (reaching 7.6k hp at lvl 155) possible?
Question 2: How much base INT do I have to add? Or how much INT will I need in total?

    Recommended Total INT: 90 – 110 (Before Level 70)

Approx. 2,900 HP to gain, done within 132 washes or 1,584 excess MP
*Be sure to wash using fresh AP gained from Level Up

EDIT: It's just not worth the hassle to do 7,6k when you don't have the knowledge. Aim for 5.6k and its easy peasy, especially for a NL who avoids everything anyway...

and for that you need to gain around 18-19 mp each level up from 70-155
    that means around 180 int

even if you put all points into int from now on its unlikley you will recieve your goal at level 155 :S

Honestly, you are best off remaking your hermit. Hp washing is something that needs to be planned from the beginning, its not something you can just decide to do randomly after a while.

(If you want to reach 7.6K hp)

If you just want to survive HT with hb, then I think u can keep this hermit and just wear some int gear moving forward.

i'd remake, you wont have enough mp to wash out ll the points in hp and will run short on HP, definitely nowhere close to 7.6k without hb, maybe likr 4200 at 155

If I would remake, what does that mean towards my INT. How much INT do I need base?
From what lvl do I start washing?

Is what they say in this guide, so idk, got a mate also saying 90 int. Get high dex with some int rolls, then straight to 25 dex, rest in INT till 90 INT.

Wanting 7.6k hp at lvl 155 means having 3.4k more hp than if you didn't wash. Now that's ~189 washes assuming the average wash is a 18 hp gain. 189 washes will require 2,268 mp.

Now let's say you're starting over. You need 25 dex to advance as a thief so roll your dice to have 4 STR/5+ DEX/10 INT/x LUK, aiming for 35+ INT and 25 DEX as you advance. Now, level 1-10 gives you 45 AP. Since every 10 INT you gain 1 mp and you need 25 DEX, I'd suggest adding the first 20 AP into INT on island and the next 20 into DEX, and rest back into INT. This will net you an extra 2 washes. Not much but it'll help. It'll help even more if you leave island at level 8 and wear your wand/shield, but the 4 mp vs quest completion isn't worth it for me.

With all that bullshit out of the way, you still need 2,244 mp. Over 145 levels that averages out to 15 mp per level, which is levelling with 150 int. That's not possible at level 10 since most INT gear has a level requirement. You said you have 35 int with equips, but let's list some cheap options for low level INT gear.

Hat: Level 25 Purple Wisconsin +1/2 INT
Wand: Level 8 Beginners Wand, scroll for +5-6 INT
Shield: Level 5 Stolen Fence, scroll/buy for +4-5 INT, whatever compliments the wand you got (+10 INT together). I suggest going for higher INT on the wand since those are cheaper than shields in general.
Robe: Level 20 Sauna Robe, scroll for 10 INT
Earrings: Level 15 Single Earring, scroll for 3-4 INT
Gloves: Level 10 YWG/WG. You can do the WG maple island quests over and over again for the YWG with a base INT of 1 or you can just go for a WG. Scroll this for +3-4 INT

Everything I listed above are pretty under average/average INT gear that are super affordable. The goal is to do quantity over quality unless you plan to play a mage. All of this together will net you around ~30 INT.

Back to your stats. You have a base of 35 INT at level 10. If you're starting over, I'd suggest keeping your current hermit to carry your new sin through the early levels because the earlier you get that base int the more mp you'll get. HPQ and quests can get you to level 21 easily. If you've got guildies or friends that would KPQ with you that would help a lot as well. I was able to KPQ with strangers when I made my full INT sin and they were totally okay with me there since I hustled during the puzzle stages.

With that said lvl 10-30 nets you 100 AP. I'd suggest investing 65 of that into INT, which puts you at 100 base INT. Now that you're level 30, you'll have 100 base INT and around +30 INT from gears. That's +130 INT at level 30 with a base of 100 INT.

Now let's be super nick picky.
    From level 10-15, you'll gain ~26 additional MP. (Wearing WG+Wand+Shield +14 INT)
    From level 15-20, you'll gain ~50 additional MP. (Wearing WG+Wand+Shield+Earring +18 INT)
    From level 20-25, you'll gain ~58 additional MP. (Wearing WG+Wand+Shield+Earring+Robe +28 INT)
    From level 25-30, you'll gain ~65 additional MP. (Wearing WG+Wand+Shield+Earring+Robe+Wisconsin +30 INT)

At level 30, you'll gain 24 mp from lvl 1-10, and 199 mp from lvl 10-30. Together that's 223 MP which puts your new target MP at 2268-223 = 2045 MP.

Assuming you're gaining an additional 13 mp per level from level 30-50, that's 260 extra MP. 2045-260=1785, which in 105 levels averages to around 170 INT per level up from lvl 50-155. You have 100 base INT, and ~30 INT worth of gear. You'll need to find 40 INT at level 50. Thankfully, that's possible due to some of the new gears made available:

    Zhelm: Level 50, +13-17 INT
Dep Star: Level 50, +5 INT
Racc Mask: Level 30/45, +7 INT (Substitute this with broken glasses +4 INT scrolled with 100%s if it's more affordable)

Now that puts you at a net gain of around 25 INT. Hopefully at this point you've been able to connect with a 4th job friend that has MW 10, which will give you an additional +5 INT per level up. That'll be +160 INT from lvl 50. As for the last 10 INT, it can be easily obtained through the following ways:

Yellow Snow Shoes or Squishy Shoes +2 INT
Scrolling your Zhelm for INT. Your end game helm is most likely a scar helm, since it's far easier to farm than zhelms. The zhelm is only worth it these days to wash, so you might as well scroll it for INT. You won't be doing damage with 100 base INT anyway.

Congrats! You can now hit 7.6k HP at level 155 with relative ease.

Keep in mind sometimes when you level up you'll gain a little bit of extra MP even without additional INT equips/base INT. Your base HP will also be slightly higher than your absolute minimum HP which is what I used to calculate your values here. The game will be more forgiving than the scenario I gave, which is already pretty forgiving if you're good with planning ahead.

Now after that let me give you a reality check:
    189 washes = 585,900 nx =117 days of voting
100 resets to reset base INT = 310,000 nx = 62 days of voting

Is it really worth voting for half a year just to not recruit a drk for HT? :^) Being a perfectionist is most of the time a disadvantage; that's the only thing I can whole heartedly blame my accomplishments on Legends, or the lack there of.

Woah that is an awesome detailed response! One thing I want to correct is that I read online that HP washes (from pure AP from leveling up) give you 20-24 hp. With that in mind, assuming I wanted to have 11.5k hp at level 175, how much total int do you think I should have?

    Its 18-22 for theives o.o

Also on top of that 7.6 is what ht hits you'll still die instantly.

7.8k is what you want to not need hb for legs and tail.

Yes. To gain HP you add to it using your level up points. After that use the ap reset to remove from MP and add to the stat you desire (str/dex/int/luk)
