Low Wedding Ring Married to Myself

I have the same issue! My partner's ring also says they're married to themselves though...hopefully it fixes soon, it's just a little annoying...

This is a known bug when we revamped weddings, and is a client bug, unfortunately we don't have an ETA on when it will be fixed. Fortunately it should not affect the ring effect and is purely a text bug (from my understanding)

 

Hey Mirrors, it definitely does affect the ring effect in my experience. My wedding ring has not worked for over 6 months at this point, standing next to my spouse does nothing

 

Are you both wearing the wedding ring?

 

Yes, of course. But both our rings indicate that we are married with ourselves, like Adra with Adra, Carebear with Carebear

 

Have you guys tried remarrying? We can refund you guys 1 wedding and this usually fixes the issue

It does affects the ring a lot. no one else can see the marriage ring effect. only me and my wife. thats at least my case. my ring also tells im married to myself and hers says my name.

 

I have a character who is technically married to herself as well, not sure what my spouse's character ring says though. My other character's wedding ring description is fine.

If it matters, the one with the incorrect ring got married at the Chapel, and the one with the correct ring got married at the Cathedral.

 

Could be, my character and the spouse with incorrect rings got married at the Chapel too! Whenever I find my other character a spouse I can try the Cathedral wedding and see what happens. Honestly not a big deal at all and doesn't really affect my gameplay
