SI is certainly better, but it might be nerfed in the future. The way SI currently works in game is basically a bug, it adds +4 levels of speed when in original GMS, si just added +2 levels and stacked with booster.

Furthermore, it didnt work on mages in GMS, but it does here.

So abuse it while you can.

Yes. But you have slow Animation and you dont crit all the time. I would recommend HB/MU Mules.

 

SE mule isn't very important for mages because in general you want to 100% 1-hit enemies you fight, and SE does nothing to help you on that department. For Shaolin training SE can be kind of helpful, but on average it's only a 6% increase in damage and doesn't do all that much.
