Medium Buccaneer Demolition completely ignores defense

    These damage numbers are much too high. 1k range at level 10 demo(240%) should lead to 2100-2400 damage on a 0 defense mob with no level difference. Since there is a 30 level difference between the bucc and the Castellan, there is a 30% reduction in damage, which explains the 1400-1600 damage lines.
    What is supposed to happen?: Castellan has 4200 defense, meaning that the range should shrink to 1-1, leaving the bucc dealing just 1 damage per line.
    Where did you find and/or notice this bug?: I got madge(and a bit sadge) seeing OP Bucc damage lines on everything

    We need to maintain bucc OP to stop bucc lobby. However, i agree that it should be fixed as it`s non intended behavior

    Actually, this is an intended mechanic from the original game.
    The following skills ignore base weapon defense:
    • Sacrifice;
    • Assaulter;
    • Shadow Meso;
    • Demolition.
    In addition, Sacrifice also ignores bonus weapon defense from the monsters' own defense buffs.

    As it's not a bug, if you'd like to discuss this potential change, please make a suggestion about it.

    Wow I knew about sacrifice and assaulter but didn't know about demo ignoring defense at all. Was this ever conveyed to the player in any way?
