Today we back with entry #5

Spoiler: Entry #5 salesman got me good

A small diary entry this time. I had to go to the central city to buy some stuff. I went into game store and wanted to buy 2 Pokémon packs.

But then

The salesman got me good.

He saw me buy 2 packs of Scarlet and Violet Base set. He told me ‘I just received the new set yesterday, Paldea Evolved’

So I went ‘yea I want them, 3 of those and remove 1 of the other packs’

He then said

‘I see u get a discount when u spend 25euro. So if u add 1 more pack u can get that for 1 euro basically.’

Ok add another paldea evolved.

So I left with 4x Paldea Evolved (newest set) and 1x Scarlet and Violet base set.

5 total packs instead of 2 he got me good.

I bought some more stuff again. Still holiday, couldn’t contain myself when we went to the mall.
Went to the local toy store and bought this new Scarlet and Violet Paldea Evolved ETB.



This box has an (imo) very nice promo card:



Sad to say the box didn’t contain a lot of hits. These were it:

Kinda only 2 hits but 1 very nice!

The Skeledirge is apparently about 30 euro right now.

Spoiler: Entry #7 Cardmarket got me in his hands

The cardmarket website got me in his hands.

I put money on the account 2 times now and bought multiple single cards. Some very nice!

We start off with a recent card. Alternate Art Heracross:



(it has a hair on the card it’s not damage)

This is from the newest set Scarlet and Violet Paldea Evolved.
It was cheap and I liked the way it looked. Heracross also cool Pokémon.

After that I decided to buy some cards from my wanted list. A vintage one from Neo Genesis in Near Mint condition:



Very nice for like 23 year old card. I also bought some of the forest Pokémon from Crown Zenith. A total of 3 cards:

One day later I bought another vintage from the Neo Genesis set:
Also in Near Mint condition!



The Kingdra does not have a dent / crease (middle right) this is lighting.



See? All GOOD.
I also got this Ivysaur and Charmander from Base Set in Near Mint Condition:





The next day I went to Ikea and bought a plank for above my desk. To display some Pokémon stuff



After the Kingdra order I decided to buy some MORE from my wants list. I made 4 orders for a total of 5 cards.

I have 1 order that is still being send. I hope it will arrive..

Spoiler: The very first tiny scam

So I finally got the final card after a week. But the card was not the condition (imo) in what it was advertised. It has a lot of print lines across the whole card.

But here is the card. The art work is still nice and in general it's OK.





I put it in normal binder for now. If it was without print lines it would go in the toploader binder.

Can't always succeed!

That's a very good card Ainz for only 2 packs!! Your card is worth about 7 euro so ur literally rich and an invester now. Next year it might even be 8 euro. I suggest u keep it.

We hit gold boys.

I received a random pack of Scarlet and Violet Paldea Evolved from my gf and it had this gold card in it!



Did not expect! I’m not really collecting the new set but a nice card is always good.

A few days later I received my salary again so it was time to hunt for Pokémon cards on CardMarket again!

The first card I bought was this Politoed from Neo Discovery:



Has some scratches but really like the artwork on this card. Overall great condition

After that I completed my forest Pokémon set by buying the last card. A Pikachu.



I also bought a reverse holo dark energy since I am collecting those.

I still had some money left on the account and purchased 2 more cards.
The secret rare Pikachu from Crown Zenith and a Raihan Trainer card.



That’s it for this entry. I still got some money left so I’m gonna find some other cards to buy!
