for every cwk-exchange (all cwk exchanges) you get 1 dark token + your reward,
those tokens can be traded in for the manuals and such and since the manuals will be one-of-a-kind item- untradeable, you may only hold 1 of each manuals at a time. if you already have a manual, the reward will be default to a chance of the iTCG crafting etcs.

Back after 10 months to try and clear some etc space. And yeah the air strike drop rate nerf is definitely felt. After reading through the September thread it was introduced in, it just feels bad. But the effects are felt, and it doesn't feel good as an end game sair to have 1 of the little activities i can do on my own free time nerfed to take even longer. Especially with sairs being bot 3 uncommon classes... who was complaining or why was this ever an issue that needed to be fixed/fair in comparison to other "ults"? Whoever and why someone would want to (potentially) farm using multiple 4th job corsairs+air strike doesn't make sense to me. DKs seem more reliable for that... This overall just makes me want to continue doing this as less as I already am. Till the next one i guess.

 

1. Not sure why it feels so horrible farming sometimes, it gives me the same feeling of just the thought of being at ghost ship. But some ppl can handle that I'm not sure where everyone else farms but some map jumps are cancer without mount, avoid, or in general any good type of movement imo LOL rewards are okay for myself.

I agree with your thoughts on point 3. As a Lvl 200 mule this is something i can do on my own time after work, when tired, without having to search for bosses to do and go through all that hassle, similar to self card hunting. Although it still hurts, it's some sort of content i can do.

How much longer does it take you to finish after the air strike nerf as compared to before?

 

I hoard hearts and gathered windbreaker badges from the previous day so I can't account for that,
but from:
1x stormbreaker badges -> 91 stormbreaker badges
2x firebrand badges -> 91 firebrand badges
1x nightshadow badges -> 91 nightshadow badges

took me a total of ~100 minutes on/off. A normal 45 of each would usually take anywhere from 1hr - 1hr30min pre-nerf from what i remember; less if really lucky. If it's of interest, maps I hunt at are Lower Ascent, Cavern of Fear, and then each respective room at cwk for any leftovers/nightshadows. Will maybe do a full run tomorrow to get a better feel.

 

i feel the trick is to using 2 bishops in two separate channels and looting every 2 mins. (pay attention to the HS running out) i use that was my timer. loot with a NL, you only have 1 min to loot 2 channels.
I'd recommend trying that, I done that a few times. cuts down the total farming experience to 45 min-ish

 

I appreciate the suggestion but I don't want to farm this with multiple characters/multi clienting. Also takes away from figuring out how much the drop rate nerf will affect my run times.

firebrands @ cavern of fear mainly feel the worst out of all badges; doesn't feel like i get a lot considering the 2 bodies/shared stormbreaker mobs.

 

Also agree with Cavern of Fear being bad; the spawns are sparse and the accessibility (rope/platform placement) isn't good. I've been farming more on my bucc since doing it on bishop was too mind-numbing and I basically do everything in the CWK Halls/rooms except for WR. For mages the caverns are prolly better.

 

Tried all cwk halls/rooms for this one, except wr. Definitely seemed better for firebrands. Did not use octos for this run.
