HT DPM45 Flex Thread

Do not worry, I will be co-authoring a paper with MattNL which summarizes all of the micro optimizations we are aware of. We need a proper HT guide for not only NL, but each individual class specifically.

 

Some more MM data for current HT
DPM 40 ht buff/cider/si/mw30 - single target/no piercing arrow

 

DPM 45, Cider run w/ SE and Echo only, No SI.
Great run under 90 minutes clear ~

 

DPM45 (Echo, MW30, SI, ~30 mins of HT buff + cider, blue arrows):


Made use of cleaving on right side when RH was canceled.

Level 160 BM on conc/cider/mw20/echo.
55 base int slowly being washed out.

The BM/MM gap is a lot smaller than I had previously thought.

35 stoppers used, full SE and 40 minutes of echo.

Corsairs actually pretty functional even underleveled compared to what people usually run. This number is roughly 48% of my same buff dummy DPM, hopefully it will continue to increase as my boat gains more HP and my character gains more avoid.

Here's another data point for earlier level BMs, and now I'm more inclined to believe that optimal BM > MM in HT always.



Concentrate/Cider, MW20, Event Basket, 40 mins of echo, with 41 base INT.
This probably means a mid-range funded 160 BM in an optimal party (full range) should be able to break past 5m dpm 45.



Dummy DPM 2 for reference puts this at a 67.55% dpm efficiency, so there is room for improvement as others have already posted 70%+ dpm efficiencies.

With all that said, I think MM in HT still have a larger range of opportunities to perform at their optimal dpm, given that they have SI, while BM rely heavily on their team's composition and rotation to crank out these types of numbers. Basically, BMs who run with any sort of cleave suffer significant dpm losses.

 

5.429mil with no real assistance of my favorite meth flavored candies, which actually makes for my highest %dummyDPM run yet.

9.823mil dummy on the same buffs, making for 5.429/9.823 = 55.27% efficiency, but most of that weight is pulled by the free 100 avoid from basket. In total the boat broke 5 times during the run, so in the 85 minute run boat was available for 91.17% of the time

Did a bit of a longer DPM test, managed to get 5.814mil DPM 55 on the same buffs as last time. 59.18% efficiency from dummy.

Corsairs are currently pretty good at HT with the GM Bless available for a run, can reach 90%+ of a similar NL, or perhaps is able to pass them if they're not very skilled. With more levels that gap likely closes more.

Could be higher if I slept earlier last night. With MW30/better alertness/dispel def up, should be able to reach 8m.

Currently just shy of 70% efficiency.

At last I accomplished my goal of reaching 9m before another BM reaches 8m cogs

 

28-29 min HT buff, Cider after / Mw20 / SE+SI / echo + Paladin Threaten KEKW

Thought I'd hit the 5m mark by 165, but guess I hit it a bit earlier.

I am on my way to defeating the NLs - 6.78mil dpm 45 - SE, basket cider, basket avoid, full echo, 5 boat breaks

6.78 / 10.7 = 63.36% dummy efficiency, probably my most efficient run yet. All I need now are the stats and levels.

Party composition: 200 DK, 200 Bish, 19x MM, 19x NL, 18x NL, out of party sed target

 

6.27 on echo, SE, amorian baskets, 38 minutes of HTB and 7 minutes of cider

6.27/11.74 = 53.4% efficiency

Not bad, traded in some avoid gears for higher overall numbers, which seems to pump a fair bit. It's difficult to say whether avoid gear or stats are better at this point.
