    I'm all for shad buffs but anytime I see Pasta suggesting something the first thing that comes to mind is "how much meso/hr is this going to boost their mules this time"

    I agree with you that it is a nuisance which is mostly the reason why I made this suggestion in the first place, but imo having the mesos go straight into the bandits pocket instead of dropping will take away from the bandits identity of being giving and party oriented.

    You'd basically be removing the skill from the game for everyone except for bandits which is a no from me though I understand your reasoning.

    This reminds me of the suggestion someone made to remove assassinate dash because it used to randomly proc, the suggestion got accepted but luckily we ended up getting the improved controls we currently have instead.

    Likewise I rather improve pickpocket than "remove" it from the game, hopefully give it more of a function when blowing up the mesos gives a small damage boost.

    With the formula I proposed the meso per hour dropped for mid to high range will stay the same and will be slightly increased for low range bandits, at the same time it's fairly easy to reach the 4k cap and since meso explosion is not affected by your damage range this would be more of a buff to low range bandits than for high range ones, in terms of dpm. When looting the mesos there should be very little difference other than less stress on your clients.

    I am sure staff could come up with a better formula but the one I posted should be able to show the intent of the suggestion atleast.

    And don't worry I am not here on anyone elses behalf and I personally prefer more equality between single client and multi client gamers, as long as the changes make sense.

    I like the idea behind this. The issues with pets is a whole other thing but the use of pickpocket will help bandits during 3rd job to be more engaging and fun. I like the idea of just increasing the dmg but not the meal count. Not sure how that would work but I could see people abusing the increased meso drop rate. Bossing is iffy, some peeps struggle with laging during boss runs and I’ve seen others kindly ask to turn it off. It also kind of annoying when another pt member just loots all ur mesos when you are bossing.

    As far as I can judge it now, this suggestion would make the gap between multishad and single client smaller (really though, how many people are actually doing multishad right now? 1 person?).

    Smaller gap because the single client shadower would get a nifty tool to deal some extra damage (especially in cleave situations, read:CWKPQ) which a multishad setup couldn't really make use of. Meso explosion cannot be placed in a macro and you cannot explode other shadowers meso bags. Meaning you will be able to deal alot more damage simply holding assassinate on your multi setup.

    I like this and the knockback suggestion linked in the thread, as they're both minor changes that go hand in hand with the revival of meso explosion in 4th job gameplay. :cool::thumbsup:
