Use the table however you'd want, checking your own items or just starting arguments for fun. upload_2023-9-18_20-45-39.png

So I’ve been trying to look for a decent dagger (128-129ish) atk. But the dagger market has been dry for a bit. And I have been thinking on embarking on the journey of a perfect dagger. So if I follow this table that means that if I buy a 100atk GDK and manage to get 4 slots to pass with no fails I’m in WS territory. And if I pass 2 scrolls on a perfect NT dagger I can start white scrolling. But is it really worth it to go for a perfect GDK and waste WS on a weapon that will cap out at 135atk compared to a max nt dagger of 143atk ? So my questions is, is it worth it to go for a perfect Lv. 100 weapon or is it just a waste of money compared to other items ?

GDK isn't really amazing anyway since it has 5 less attack than a Kanzir which basically requires the same stats (150dex and 75 str is also required for Dragon Khanjar) and a +4 GDK isn't anywhere close to WS territory.

Overall I think this table is decent as very rough guideline but don't follow it blindly for every item you 30%. It fails to account for any value that failed products can still have and the actual cost to make is often lower because of this. At the same time if items are more rare and demand is high then it can easily go for a fair bit more

I heard fartsyfartsy say this too but I don’t think this is right. If you’re making a perfect weapon there are no failed products: it either passes or booms. Fails are either white scrolled or cssed, no? There shouldn’t be any failed products unless you’re working with incredibly cheap items that aren’t worth cssing in which case their recoup value is negligble

There's plenty of cheap items that people try to perfect, if I fail a 30% on a +3 single earring and end up making it +4 or whatever then the value is not suddenly 0
If I scroll a perfect NT knuckle and it goes Fail > Fail > +1 > +2 > +3 it has plenty of value left

I can keep naming examples but it would be a bit shortsighted if people assume there is never any failed products that retain value and are better of sold instead of boomed with CSS

If your item does not triple in value when you pass a CSS then it's generally not worth to use

I’m assuming that’s any item worth over 100m with a single failed slot then, at least up until ws10 territory?

A 32 tma single earring without slots is worth ~700m, a 32 tma single earring with 1 slot is worth ~1b and perfect +5 is about 2.85b

While it can be tempting to CSS and 30% again, it would be better to recoup losses

Hm. This is why I don’t scroll.

I can’t really think of any examples where CSS is tripling the value tbh.

12 WA to 14 WA Gloves is probably the most common one on a lower scale.

For reference I had a 125 GDK and I sold it for about 420mil the other day. I just slammed 7 30s onto it, with no WS. Yes I got incredibly lucky, but a 120 dagger isn't worth that much nowadays I think so for me personally it made sense to just keep slamming 30s.

For things like a NT dagger I would be much more inclined to start wsing after 4 passed 30 scrolls. After 125atk I feel like daggers get exponentially more expensive lol. My friend passed like 3 30s on a nice nt bow and now it's a ws project.

I got my current dagger from a friend, it's a 128atk 15luk or something NT dagger and I paid around 900mil. He did me a favor though since I'm assuming it's actually worth around 1-1.2bil.

There's a large gap after +20 atk from perf on weapons because if you +4 the first 4 slots, you'd be more inclined to finish it with white scrolls or sell it for value rather than finishing it with 60s.

Hm, but the CSS isn't tripling the value alone, you still have to pass a 60/70 no? Which implies the value would need to increase by another ~50% on top of tripling?

Usually you can sell your +7 lv100 weapon and get a better one. The thing is that GDK + scroll doesn't even cost 5m, so this spreadsheet doesn't apply to this item. I couldn't understand why you said that +4 30% in a GDK would be enough to start using WS, because it definitely isn't. I remember I saw a +6 GDK with 1 slot being sold for around 1.3k coins, that means a +7 would cost around 2.3~2.5k coins. If you consider white scrolling a +4 GDK, you will spend 3k coins in average to finish it, and you still need to consider the price of a +4 GDK with 3 slots.
I'm not updated on prices, but as far as I remember, a clean 100 att GDK was around 3m and a dagger ATT 30% was around 2m. So 5m total, it means:
    +1 GDK 6 slots = 5x3 = 15m
    +2 GDK 5 slots = 15x3 = 45m
    +3 GDK 4 slots = 45x3 = 135m
    +4 GDK 3 slots = 135x3 = 405m
    +5 GDK 2 slots = 405x3 = 1,215b
    +6 GDK 1 slot = 1,215x3 = 3,645b (and that's 1,1k coins~, matching what I've found on forums)
From +6 to +7 it's cheaper to white scroll + 10% to finish it, since you will probably need 3 +6 GDKs to pass 1 30%. It's just insanely rare to make a +6 one because you need too much weapons to make it, so I wouldn't recommend you to scroll it. Kanzir/NT is a better idea, specially cuz of the STR needed.
