New to being a Perma Beginner

New Beginnings:

I've since deleted my old character, and remade it into a Cleric and a I/L Mage, both for the purpose of make mesos.



I'm currently sitting at level 35 again after my first character deletion, and regrinding back to 30s. This time, my equipment are scrolled for DEX/Avoid/Acc. I'm not going to HP Wash, rather I'm planning on getting Monster Ring and Ellin Savior's Ring.

I'm beginning to notice how important HP is deemed as I climb higher in levels. Not sure how to get more HP + Def, since I've only focused on DEX + Acc.







These maps of my leveling up are also tracking with the Monster Book Guide as shown below, to hunt for the easy monster cards. My current goal is pushing to Tier 1 Monster Ring before level 40.

Following the grinding spots for the Monster Book, my leveling has been rather slow. By focusing on acquiring monster cards earlier, hopefully it would save on total time to get to harder hitting monster areas.

After long farming sessions, I've often found myself to be walking around the Free Market, and have luckily found good deals:
Blue Old Wisconsin @ 150k
Sad Mask @ 1.5m
Fallen Leaf Earrings @ 350k

Due to LONG hours of grinding, tons of gachapon tickets are often dropped, so my lucky spins are:
Ragged Yellow Cape
Purple Marker
Racoon Mask

Note:
I've noticed that by level 30-40, Mages can get about 400k in drops EPH just by selling stuff to the NPC, after repotting potions.
So that's about enough to get a few millions in a few days!

Since my meso reserves are rather stable with my mages, I've been planning to make 1 cider mule, and 1 sniper pill mule:
Cider = +20WA and -5ACC
Sniper Pill = +10ACC

Apparently, the Use Item Buff guide below states:
First use Cider, Second use Sniper Pill = +20WA and +10ACC

By using the sniper pill after the cider will replace the -5ACC with +10ACC instead. Both are super cheap!

I made it from lvl35 to lv40, and reached my first goal of Tier 1 Monster Ring!!!


I've been reading lots of good guides and getting pro-tips from everyone! Also spamming HP potions help lots!



Currently collected 34sets, and aim to get up to 60 cards by lvl50!

Maybe sooner, since exp per level-up is getting quite steep!

After much consideration of the low HP issue, I decided to HP wash out at least all my extra MP without any INT gear, and fixed my stats to STR/30dex/4/4

Considering to re-stat to Pure STR once I save up mesos to reach 80dex gear! Apparently, most ACC scrolls are cheap, and also the Dex scrolls are cheap too, except for Earring/Helm/Overall ones.

So I put on lots of Dex/Acc for gloves, cape, shoes, eye accessory!

Lots of mesos burned and equips exploded so far haha




Since leveling up multiple times a day is not feasible... haha I'm attempting at 0.5-1 level up per day.

These level-up locations shown above are good spots for Monster Card Hunting!

 

Update:
Although I wanted to post when I got to level 50, I'm excited that I recently beat my first mini-boss at level 47!



It took me several hits to kill the level 50 Giant Centipede, since my attack range was all over the place! haha Currently using a 104wa Frozen Tuna.

The Halloween Event's Zombie Rings are strong @ +180hp per ring on average, and lasts for 6months!





I chugged 70-100x 300HP potions per fight since the Giant Centipede hits me down to about 200hp from 1.3k hp, and also used 1xCider for boost.



The goal for getting to Tier 2 Monster Ring is achieved! Sitting at 63 sets of cards. Next is Tier 3 Monster Ring by or before level 60!

Most likely will be before level 60, since experience gains are about 0.03% for monsters I can 1-2hit! haha

My up and coming goals are still to get Zakum Helmet at level 50, and hopefully gear up for more mini-boss card sets or chairs!

The level up spots are good places to hunt for cards!

Made it to level 50: The Ordeals and Trials Commence!



Immediately starting the Zakum Prequests at lvl50, was daunting!

For preparation, and getting to the Door of Zakum required at least 1.5k HP total, since the touch damage from Bain is 1.4k worth of HP!



Falling into the lava is +230hp worth of damage per second!

So... that means its HP Potion Time! I drank +1.5k HP potion pots of the White Pill from Ludibrium haha






Finished the Zakum Prequest Trial 2! I fell many many times, and took a few hours haha Good enough for my first time beating the prequests!

I got a Zakum Helmet!
Saving up about 15-20m for the AFK Zakum Helmet Service was a breeze.... LOL not really

Dying a lot inside the Zakum Raid is what will happen in the AFK service haha

Best to use Super Megaphone: "B>AFK Zakum Helmet Service" and someone will message you about the Boss Raid in 3-5min.

The Seller organized all the party, and everyone had to meet up in El Nath. We then teleported to the Door of Zakum with the help of the Party's Bishop.

Sitting at level 50, with 4 more sets of monster cards till Monster Ring Tier 3! Excited!

The event 3xZombie Rings (5months duration) gave +700hp, and was a massive boost for getting me to Door of Zakum and finishing the Prequests. So BIG SHOUT OUT to the event 3xZombie Rings!

Next BIG Goal:
Beat the Equivalent of Headless Horseman ---> Manon!
Manon has about the same stats as the Headless Horseman, but Manon has good drops and a chance of dropping a Dragon Skull Chair!
