Dont use soul arrow.

 

There is a decent amount of natural variance in these dpm1 tests, you probably want to do either multiple tests of longer tests to be more sure of this.

I tried it for myself and I pretty much got the results I expected,

@dpm2 without diamond arrows
@dpm2 with diamond arrows

Its about a 4.1% damage increase. I have 219 total attack prior to diamond arrows, so a 5 atk increase should be around 2.2% damage increase. The deviation from the expected 2.2% is probably just due to natural variance.

 

I personally only use them for PB runs, for everything else I think the inconvenience of having to buy them 2k at a time and the additional cost is not worth it.

 

I would test to see if a longer dpm check works for you too. Skar is a BM while you are a mm... Maybe there's a difference?

 

Possibly bc he snipes as well since it doesn't really scale off of attack. IMO as long as you're on anything stews or stronger you should use diamond arrows but idk for marksman

 

You probably can test it with the most basic bow/xbow (1st job weapon), with as little buff/equip as possible.
This should demonstrate clearer if the 5wa is the difference.
