(Not) Akashsky Chaosing MoN Journal (not inspired by akashsky)

    I have always had atrocious luck involving MoNs, whether it be the amount of tries it takes to get a 5 atk or the result of chaosing it. In my ML lifetime I have used over 10+ chaos on 5 atk MoNs, the highest atk I've ever seen is 6. I now need to get a MoN for my nightlord, and I won't stop until I see a 9/10 atk. I fully expect this to take over 1 month of daily cwkpq and well over 15 chaos scrolls. Here I will document my woes.

    Prior to the start of this journal I am already 2 cs down with my NL, but those I did not record.

    total Mons looted = 4

    To give an idea of my resources available, I am roughly prepared to sink another ~20 cs into this if necessary. If it goes beyond that I would have to start liquidating the ws stock, I will probably stop at that point.

    About 20 chaos lifetime and highest atk we've ever seen is still 6, seems about right. Let this be a lesson to the average player that the typical chaos scroll experience is not getsmoked.

    You could do that, but the amount you would have to spend on css20 to get the slot back is not worth it. Think about the best case scenario, pretend css20 has no boom chance, it would still take 5 css20 on average to get a slot back. The price of css20 is roughl 7.5m, so that would be at least 35m per 5atk mon. Keep in mind this is without booms. Imagine in cwkpq you get 35m everytime a 5 atk mon drops, clearly css is not worth it.

    Yeah, I agree the cost of 35m per "extra" 5atk mon is probably too high. Although the boom chance actually has no effect whatsoever on the cost-efficiency. No matter what the boom rate on fail, it's still 35m per "extra" 5atk - the boom rate just slows you down since now you need on average three 5atk mons per one extra 5atk mon.

    That a good point, I didn't think about it that way. Either way as you said 35m/ extra mon is indeed too much.
