Community Event

Greetings adventurers from all over the Maple World! Its time to grab your weapons, your wits, and your whimsy because its time for a Community Event!

Every adventure has a tale to tell, and its up to you and your fellow friends to tell it!
Work together, or on your own, to create a comic detailing your glorious, tragic, or hilarious exploits!

How to Participate​

1. Teams are tasked to create a comic strip that tells the story of an adventure

2. Reply to this thread with an image of your comic strip or a link to your comic strip using an image hosting site like imgur, and include the names of all your teammates with their respective Forum accounts. If a teammate does not have a Forum account, use one of their character's in-game names.

3. Our Staff will read the submitted comics and pick the top 3 teams to be awarded, see the Prize List below

Rules​

1. Teams can be comprised of 1 - 6 players

2. Comics must contain a minimum of 3 panels and a maximum of 9 panels

3. Only 1 comic per Team will be accepted. Team members can only be a part of 1 Team, and cannot use alternative characters and Forum accounts across different teams.

4. The subject matter of the comic can be anything in relation to MapleLegends, including our current Anniversary Event! Your comic can be serious, humorous, or anything in-between!

5. Comics can be created using any medium you wish (as long as they are an image), whether that means using screenshots, Character Simulators, drawings, or a mix or use of any other various methods

6. Comics will be judged primarily on the quality of their stories, not necessarily on the quality of the comic's artwork

7. Comics must be appropriate and not contain any offensive imagery or language. If your comic violates our Terms & Conditions, it will result in an instant disqualification from the event and/or ban from MapleLegends entirely, depending on the severity of the offense

8. The window to submit your comic entries will close on Wednesday, July 5th, 2023 23:59:00 Server Time (when the event ends)

Every teammate should actually be a part of the team and contributing to the comic in some way, whether that be with the idea, the writing, the artwork, being in the comic, etc.

Players shouldn't be listed as a "teammate" if they didn't make any contributions at all.

 

If they're in the comic via a screenshot then that counts as participation. If you're using someone's likeness for your comic then that doesn't really make them a team member, just a reference.

Unless they're contributing to the comic in other ways as listed before.
