It was a moment to celebrate and appreciate the fruits of her labor.

Day 10 - Restocking and Striking the Jackpot

Coorie's store inventory was looking rather sparse, and she realized that she wasn't utilizing the shop space to its fullest potential. It dawned on her that filling the shop with inexpensive items, even if they had low-profit margins, would be better than leaving it empty.



With this in mind, Coorie embarked on a quest to find items to stock her store and stumbled upon the deal of a lifetime - a cute little Sky-blue Wooden Chair for just 1 meso! She hesitantly took a seat on it, contemplating its comfort level.



"Hmm, not too bad... I suppose?" she muttered to herself with a wry smile.



As Coorie continued her search, she came across a King Cent well below its average stats selling at 500k. She remembered someone buying them for 800k just a few days ago, most likely for use as a crafting material. Recognizing the opportunity, Coorie quickly snatched it up to place it in her shop.



Her eyes then landed on a clean Wand 3 with maximum magic attack, listed for 1 million meso. Coorie knew that this wand was typically one of the more expensive ones among its kind in the market, and she believed it could fetch a much higher price. Determined to make a profit, she decided to invest in it. If it didn't sell as is, she planned to enhance its value by adding a couple of Wand Magic Attack 60% scrolls and see how it performed.



But the real catch of the day came when Coorie stumbled upon a pair of fully scrolled Yellow Work Gloves, adorned with what seemed to be Gloves for Magic Attack 60/70%. Astonishingly, they were priced at just 7 million meso. Coorie couldn't believe her luck as she grabbed them immediately. She estimated the gloves to be worth at least twice that amount, potentially even more at around 20 million meso! She knew that magic attack gloves were highly sought after, and she was confident they would sell well.



With such a significant haul, Coorie decided to treat herself and have a little fun. She ventured into scrolling once again, despite two previous failed attempts. She reasoned that with such a substantial profit in hand, a little gambling wouldn't hurt. Scouring the remaining market listings, she purchased a few pairs of Red Cross Earrings for a mere 20k each, along with some inexpensive Earrings for LUK 70% scrolls. She even stumbled upon a 30k meso Earring for LUK 10% scroll and didn't hesitate to add it to her collection.



To further indulge in her scrolling excitement, Coorie acquired a clean Zhu-Ge-Liang Wand priced at 400k. She had no idea about its actual value, but she wanted to enjoy the thrill of scrolling it and didn't mind if the outcome turned out less than stellar.



To her surprise, the wand successfully passed 5 out of 7 slots using the Wand for Magic Attack 60% scrolls, resulting in the item's text turning purple. While the stats weren't remarkable, the purple text added an additional emotional value for it.



The last event of the day involved scrolling LUK on the Red Cross Earrings. Coorie was astounded when the first slot passed with the 10% scroll! She couldn't contain her excitement, although she didn't expect the remaining slots to be as forgiving. Determined to maximize her chances of success, she opted to purchase 70% scrolls for the earrings, even though there was a risk of destroying the item. Since earrings below 10 LUK didn't hold much value, she figured it was worth taking the chance.



To her surprise and delight, all the remaining 4 slots passed as well! Coorie couldn't believe her eyes. It was her first incredibly successful scroll attempt, and she couldn't help but feel a surge of satisfaction and accomplishment. Despite LUK earrings generally having much lower value compared to other stats, she knew that it was still a profitable outcome.



Uncertain about the exact market price for LUK earrings, as they were relatively uncommon, Coorie couldn't estimate their worth accurately. Nevertheless, she knew that her shop's inventory was once again growing with valuable items. It brought her a sense of fulfillment, seeing her efforts paying off and her store thriving.

Amidst the joy of her achievements, Coorie couldn't help but reflect on the earlier purchase of the Sky-blue Wooden Chair. As she continued sitting on it, she realized that it wasn't as comfortable as she initially thought. "Well, looks like appearances can be deceiving," she chuckled to herself, acknowledging that even the most unexpected and inexpensive finds could sometimes come with unexpected quirks.
