Day 47 - Luck meets Calculation

Today brings delightful news for Coorie as luck continues to shine upon her. Patiently waiting for a reasonably priced Earring for INT 30% scroll, she finally finds one at 10,850,000 meso.

Despite someone else's unfortunate experience with the same scroll, Coorie decides to take a chance and purchases the last one.

To her pleasant surprise, the scroll passes, resulting in a remarkable 22 total magic attack Red Emerald Earrings.

Just before scrolling her earrings, Coorie notices someone advertising their 26 and 23 total magic attack Red Emerald Earrings. Sensing an opportunity, she promotes her reasonably priced earrings as well, drawing attention to their comparative value. With the first earring successfully scrolled, Coorie decides to pause for now, knowing the importance of stopping while ahead and avoiding excessive greed.

However, she takes the opportunity to try scrolling her Dragon Khanjar using the Shield for Weapon Att 70% scroll she acquired for 2.5 million meso. Though the initial scroll passes, there are still four more slots to go. Coorie's goal is to attain at least 27 weapon attack, passing at least 3 out of the remaining 4 slots.

Later that night, her 22 total magic attack Red Emerald Earrings got sold for a remarkable 120 million meso! This sale not only covers the production cost of 83,383,435 meso thus far but also yields a profit of 33,616,565 meso. Yet, there are still four more 14 total magic attack Red Emerald Earrings with 1 slot left. Inspired by the recent success, Coorie decides to attempt scrolling for one more.

Surprisingly, she finds another Earring for INT 30% scroll priced at 11 million meso. Although hesitant due to potential failure, she ventures to a secluded place where she can scroll without an audience.

To her astonishment, the scroll once again passes, resulting in another 22 total magic attack Red Emerald Earrings. This lucky streak is truly one of Coorie's most fortuitous moments.

However, instead of immediately clearing the sold earring from her shop and list the new one, Coorie lets it remain for a while, allowing passers-by to witness the demand and good prices players are willing to pay for such earrings.

This strategy strengthens the appeal of her newly created earrings, priced attractively at 75% of similar offerings that remain unsold in the market.

Is Coorie's extraordinary success a coincidence, or does she possess a mathematical advantage? The expected production cost detailed in the table above does not account for the recovery from the sale of failed but undestroyed products.

In Coorie's case, she is able to recover around 12 to 20 million meso for each scrolling project. Her exceptional fortune continues to surpass expectations, fueling her optimism and determination.

Coorie's shrewd practice of obtaining scrolls at substantially reduced prices significantly lowers the overall production cost for Coorie, further augmenting her advantage when it comes to calculating the production cost at market prices. By leveraging her patience and keen eye for opportunities, Coorie consistently manages to secure scrolling materials at highly advantageous rates. This strategic approach not only bolsters her profit margins but also underscores her adeptness at optimizing resource allocation. With each successful transaction, Coorie demonstrates her ability to navigate the market with finesse, resulting in a highly efficient and cost-effective scrolling process.

    Day 48 - A GLovely and a Wand-erful Day

It seems that despite the increasing supply, the prices for Gloves of Magic Attack 70% scrolls are not going down. Coorie continues to come across more INT gloves at a faster rate than she can acquire her scrolls.

Among the gloves she finds is a pair of 2 INT Yellow Work Gloves priced at 1.25 million meso. Coorie has already managed to acquire more than four of these at similarly favorable prices - the deals just keep coming!

In addition, she discovers a 3 INT Red Marker priced at 1.5 million meso. Given the recent demand for these markers, Coorie feels extremely fortunate to have found one at such a cheap price. Let's not forget the abundance of 500k 1 INT Red Markers as well.

But the surprises don't end there. Coorie also stumbles upon a 3 LUK 32 weapon attack Maple Skanda priced incredibly cheaply at 400k meso. This Maple Skanda has the potential to sell for around 5 million meso, but Coorie has a different plan in mind. Alongside the 2 LUK 31 weapon attack Maple Skanda priced at 350k meso, another opportunity presents itself.

Although the 2 LUK 31 weapon attack Maple Skanda gets destroyed during the scrolling process, the 3 LUK 32 weapon attack is successfully scrolled to 40 weapon attack with 2 slots remaining. Similar to a previous experience, this one has the potential to pass 2 Claw for Att 30% scrolls, ultimately reaching 50 weapon attack, which could potentially sell for over 100 million meso.

Just like the tale shared on Day 43 - Revealing the Hidden Profits, where Coorie turned what seemed like a worthless Elemental Wand 5 into a profitable item, she encounters a 1 INT 147 magic attack Elemental Wand 5 that has already failed 2 slots, priced at 1 million meso. Coorie swiftly takes action and transforms it into a 154 total magic attack Elemental Wand 5 with 3 slots remaining. Now, with up to 3 attempts using a Wand for Magic Att 30% scroll, she aims to achieve 170 total magic attack with 2 passes.

Similarly, she turns a cheap 444k meso clean 142 magic attack Elemental Wand 8 into another 154 total magic attack wand with 3 slots.

Readers might wonder how Coorie plans to profit from these low probability endeavors involving three wands.

Well, she hasn't revealed everything just yet. Coorie has been collecting Wand for Magic Att 60% and 70% scrolls for under 200k and 300k meso, respectively, and even some 10% scrolls at below 400k meso.

Using these scrolls, she has managed to create a collection of 20 Elemental Wands 5 to 8, each with a total magic attack ranging from 154 to 157, and with 2 to 3 slots remaining. The cost for each of these creations was less than 2 million meso.

While there are also 12 other wands that didn't make the cut, most of them were acquired for less than 1 million meso. Unfortunately, the current price for Wand for Magic Att 30% scrolls has increased from 5 million meso to 8 million meso due to the high interest in scrolling Elemental Wands. As a result, Coorie will have to wait until the price goes down before continuing her wand-scrolling ventures.

During her search for the cheap wands today, Coorie stumbles across two Elemental Wands with exceptional stats at surprisingly low prices. One is a 1 INT 148 magic attack Elemental Wand 5 priced at 1.75 million meso, and the other is a 1 INT 149 magic attack Elemental Wand 6 priced at 300k meso. Both wands have a value exceeding 12 million meso, which definitely helps offset a significant portion of the meso spent on creating those wands.

Day 48 has proven to be another exciting and profitable day for Coorie as she continues her quest for lucrative items and maximizes her opportunities in the scrolling world.

Day 49 - Tying the Knot on the Earring Scrolling Project

After successfully creating two 22 total magic attack Red Emerald Earrings, Coorie sets her sights on completing the scrolling project for the remaining three 14 total magic attack, 1 slot Red Emerald Earrings.

She decides to purchase the three cheapest Earring for INT 30% scrolls available in the market, priced at 10 million, 11 million, and 12 million meso respectively. Despite knowing that even if she fails all of them, it wouldn't significantly impact her overall gains, Coorie secretly hopes for at least one successful result.

To her disappointment, all three attempts fail. However, the silver lining is that none of the earrings get destroyed, allowing her to recover some of the costs by allowing her to sell them for 8 to 10 million each. Taking into account the cost of the 30% scrolls she just bought, Coorie is currently at a loss of -2,583,433 meso. Nonetheless, this loss is mitigated by the unsold 22 total magic attack Red Emerald Earrings, which guarantees a minimum of 100 million meso upon their sale. Despite this, Coorie remains unsatisfied deep down.

    [IMG] [IMG]

Feeling the need for one more try before temporarily giving up on scrolling INT earrings, Coorie acquires a clean 2 magic attack Fallen Leaf Earrings for 1.5 million meso. With the last four Earring for INT 70% scrolls remaining from her last scrolling session, she swiftly uses them on the Fallen Leaf Earrings in rapid succession. To her surprise, all 4 slots pass successfully.

She then hastily searches for the cheapest Earring for INT 30% scroll in the market, which is priced at 12 million meso. She decides that this will be her final attempt and determines to quit even if it fails.

To her great delight, the last slot of the Fallen Leaf Earrings successfully passes, resulting in a purple-text 22 total magic attack Fallen Leaf Earrings. Coorie is filled with joy. With this accomplishment, she concludes her INT earring scrolling endeavors, at least until after the end of the Anniversary Event. The last Fallen Leaf Earrings can be considered her fourth successful INT earrings scrolling project.

Coorie lists her new 22 total magic attack Fallen Leaf Earrings in her store for 125 million meso, while the 22 total magic attack Red Emerald Earrings at 120 million meso. Before she can even advertise her new earrings on Discord, a potential buyer expresses interest in purchasing both, albeit with some hesitation.

Sensing the opportunity, Coorie immediately offers an irresistible price of 220 million for both earrings. The buyer happily accepts the offer without delay. The trade is successful, and to Coorie's surprise, she also receives a lucky token from the buyer—a small Lucky Charm.

Furthermore, the sale of the two pairs of earrings in a single transaction breaks the record for the highest sales previously achieved of 173 million meso. These final two earrings mark the culmination of all the sales for her 21 and 22 total magic attack earrings scrolling projects.

Although she still has some 14 total magic attack earrings awaiting sale, Coorie understands that those may take some time to find buyers. The sale of the 22 total magic attack Red Emerald Earrings, along with a previously sold identical pair, generates a profit of 104,666,567 meso after deducting the production cost. This achievement also contributes to her Self-Scrolled Profits. Similarly, the sale of the 22 total magic attack Fallen Leaf Earrings yields a profit of 90,696,391 meso after considering the production cost, further contributing to her Self-Scrolled Profits Achievement.

Note: The table provided previously contained an error as the author unintentionally omitted the cost of a Earring for INT 30% scroll in the calculation for the last Fallen Leaf Earrings. The table has now been updated to accurately reflect the production cost and profits.

After updating the numbers and factoring in the remaining by-product earrings that were sold, Coorie discovers that her previous 22 total magic attack Fallen Leaf Earrings project has achieved a remarkable profit of 126,091,076 meso. This surpasses the current record of 118,291,076 meso, marking it as the most profitable INT earring scrolling project she has undertaken thus far. Coorie is thrilled with this outstanding accomplishment and takes pride in her achievement.

As the Anniversary Event draws near its end with only one week remaining, Coorie sets her sights on potential investment opportunities that may arise after the event concludes. With the anticipation of new market trends and fluctuations, she plans to navigate the post-event landscape and make informed decisions. In the meantime, Coorie decides to take a well-deserved break, embracing a slower pace and allowing herself to relax as the final week of the event unfolds.

Ops, I made a mistake for the last Fallen Leaf Earrings. Have forgotten to factor in the 12 million meso 30% scroll into the production cost. It’s my bedtime so I’ll update again once I wake.

Day 50 - The Resonating Rhythm of Fortune

What? Did Coorie mention taking a "break" again? Well, not exactly! You've witnessed Coorie's knack for acquiring scrolls at below-market prices and swiftly turning them into profits multiple times before.

This time, it's the 2H Sword for Att 30% scrolls. Coorie managed to gather seven of them, ranging from 210k to 1 million meso each, and quickly sold them for 1.6 million meso each, earning a total profit of 7 million meso.

And once again, Coorie stumbled upon some Maple Skandas priced below market value. A 2 LUK 33 weapon attack Maple Skanda was purchased for 5 million meso and later sold for 8 million meso, while a 4 LUK 34 weapon attack Maple Skanda, acquired for 8 million meso, was projected to be valued around 15 million meso. Given the popularity of the Assassin class among players, Coorie places great emphasis on their equipment. Investing in thief and magician items is generally safer, as their value tends to remain high in MapleLegends.

The Elemental Wand 5 and 6, purchased for 1.75 million and 300k meso respectively, were both sold for a staggering 16 million meso each! These deals yielded some of the highest percentage profit returns in Coorie's ventures.

Note: You may have noticed that just before Coorie purchased the Elemental Wand 7, she had 888 million meso in her possession, reaching the next milestone. However, due to the author's current state of laziness in finding a suitable celebratory image, this detail has been temporarily overlooked. Please stay tuned for the next entry, where a well-deserved celebration and an accompanying image will mark this special occasion. Thank you for your understanding.

Adding to the excitement, Coorie came across yet another remarkable Elemental Wand—a perfect 3 LUK 150 magic attack Elemental Wand 7, listed at only 500k meso and still unsold! Coorie believes this wand could easily fetch at least 35 million meso.

In an unexpected turn of events, Coorie encountered a pair of 4 DEX 4 INT Yellow Snowshoes priced at 80 million meso. Normally, she would have brushed it off and moved on. However, just before coming across this particular item, Coorie had heard that someone else had sold similar shoes for 120 million meso. With the rarity of this shoe on the market, Coorie had no way to validate its true value. But by a stroke of luck, she happened to know a player who was specifically looking for a 4 INT Yellow Snowshoes, disregarding the DEX stat.

This player was willing to exchange 30 Prestigious Coins for the desired shoes.

Coorie swiftly made the purchase, successfully exchanged the shoes for the coins, and later sold the coins for 100.5 million meso. This quick transaction earned her a profit of 18 million meso, which Coorie feels fortunate about.

The day concluded with an avid reader of Coorie's journal offering to donate some of their Maple equipment. Coorie gratefully accepted the donation, considering it a result of her hard-earned reputation within the community.

The donated items, though not worth a significant amount at this point, were still appreciated. Coorie was willing to accept anything from a valueless trinket up to a small sum of 2 billion meso. As a token of appreciation, she decided to gift the friendly donor her one-of-a-kind signed Green Paint Brush, a unique item that would surely become highly valuable once Coorie establishes herself as a legendary merchant in the MapleLegends market.

Coorie noticed that this player's store was located in the same room as hers, so she took a quick peek to potentially merchandise their offerings of underpriced cakes, candies, and sodas.

Finally, Coorie successfully sold several of the remaining Yellow Work Gloves that didn't reach her desired scrolling outcome, resulting in an additional profit of 17,550,000 meso for her Yellow Work Gloves scrolling project. This achievement also contributes to her Self-Scrolled Profit Achievement.

At this point, the challenge may seem less daunting as Coorie continues to progress steadily. However, it's important to remember that even repetitive tasks can present their own set of challenges and require consistent effort and focus to achieve the desired outcome. Despite the familiarity of the process, Coorie's determination and careful approach ensure that she stays on track towards her ultimate goal.

Day 51 - Hitting the Scroll Barrier

Regrettably, the promised celebratory images for reaching the 888 million meso milestone will not be included in this entry. It seems that fate has other plans. While Coorie's journey thus far has been mostly smooth sailing, her lucky streak comes to an end today.

After accumulating a sufficient number of Gloves for Magic Att 70% scrolls, Coorie faced a difficult decision: whether to use them on clean 1 INT Yellow Gloves/Red Markers or 2 INT Red Markers. Although she obtained the 2 INT ones at a reasonable average price of 2.5 million meso per pair, it took a significant amount of time to acquire them. With Gloves for Magic Att 70% scrolls being more expensive and limited in quantity, she believed it might be more worthwhile to use them on a more valuable item.

Armed with 12 2 INT Red Markers and 31 Gloves for Magic Att 70% scrolls, Coorie proceeded to scroll them according to her plan. The strategy involved using 70% scrolls for the first 4 slots and finishing the last slot with a 30% scroll. If successful, this would result in a Red Marker with a total magic attack of 16, estimated to sell for around 130 to 150 million meso.

The expected outcome on the amount of +4 gloves was around 2.88 out of the 12, and Coorie successfully created 3 of them.

However, despite having a Lucky Charm in her possession, luck was not on her side. All three attempts using the 30% scrolls failed. On the positive side, the markers did not get destroyed, but it marked the end of her 2 INT Red Marker scrolling project. Coorie couldn't help but feel very disappointed with the outcome. She understood the risks involved, and she knew this setback was inevitable sooner or later.

Calculating her losses, Coorie had invested about 88 million meso into the production cost, resulting in three Red Markers with a total magic attack of 10 each. If she manages to sell each of them for 12 million meso, she would recover around 36 million meso, reducing her loss to approximately 52 million meso. It was indeed a loss for Coorie, but she accepted it as part of the challenge. Her heart felt heavy, as she knew that acquiring the glove materials was not an easy task compared to earrings.

On a brighter note, she did manage to sell her Elemental Wand 7 for 40 million meso, having acquired it for just 500k meso. Not everything ended badly, thanks to those profitable deals that enabled her to attempt scrolling the gloves in the first place.

Determined to lift her spirits, Coorie continued her day, seeking more good deals. She came across a Face Accessory for Avoidability 30% scroll priced at 5 million meso and a Helmet for DEX 70% scroll priced at 3.5 million meso. Later on, she sold them for 7.6 million meso and 4.2 million meso respectively.

Additionally, Coorie stumbled upon a stack of two Shield of Weapon Attack 70% scrolls, priced slightly lower than the current market price at 2.9 million meso each. Recalling she still had her +3, 21 weapon attack Dragon Khanjar, she considered continuing to scroll it.

Initially cautious, she decided to buy one scroll first, just in case it wasn't needed. Feeling a bit pessimistic, aren't we? Surprisingly, the scroll passed, bringing the weapon's attack to +4.

Slightly encouraged by this success, Coorie proceeded to purchase the last scroll and began scrolling the next slot, eager to see what lies ahead...

The curious thing about the shield wa scrolls (which were from my store) is that I took one in gacha, and when I used owl to see the price I found another one much cheaper, so you bought it cheaper from someone who bought it cheaper, kekw, cool that passed

Hehe. Well... most, if not all, of her items are like that SlimeBlush since Coorie cannot obtain items outside of FM. She has to sell back fast, get back the meso + profit and repeat.

If she didn't have that Dkhan to scroll, she would've sell it lower than market price so that someone else buys it cheaper from someone who bought it cheaper from someone who bought it cheaper.

Day 52 - Reviving the Magic into a Swift Recovery

With less than a week remaining until the conclusion of the Anniversary Event, Coorie continues to collect 2 INT Red Markers priced under 3 million meso and Gloves for Magic Att 70% scrolls priced under 1.5 million meso. With the event coming to an end soon, she anticipates a depletion of these items and scrolls.

Just as Coorie declared that she wouldn't be scrolling earrings for some time, fate had a different plan in store for her. she seizes the opportunity to continue acquiring cheap 2 magic attack Fallen Leaf Earrings and 2 INT Red Emerald Earrings priced under 1.5 million meso.

Rather than stockpiling them for mass scrolling, Coorie decides to scroll these earrings as she acquires them.

As per her usual strategy, she employs Earring for INT 70% scrolls for the initial 4 slots of the earrings.

Once she achieves a +4 result, she searches for any available 30% scrolls priced at 11 million meso or below and proceeds with the scrolling process,

    and this...

    not this.

And just like that, four more 22 total magic attack earrings are created. Coorie's affinity for earring scrolling shines through once again as she experiences a pleasant surprise. To her astonishment, the creation of these earrings only uses 8 Red Emerald Earrings and 6 Fallen Leaf Earrings, marking an incredibly fortunate turn of events.

The stars align in her favor as she achieves remarkable efficiency in her earring scrolling endeavors, spending just a little over 94 million meso.

Soon after, to her great delight, one of the earrings was sold within an hour for the impressive price of 120 million meso. This generous sale not only fully covered the production costs but also resulted in a remarkable profit of 22,888,530 meso and contributed to her Self-Scrolled Profits Achievement. With the remaining three earrings now dedicated solely to generating profits, Coorie couldn't be more thrilled with the outstanding outcome.

In addition to her successful earring sales, Coorie also managed to sell one of her remaining failed Yellow Work Gloves for an additional 12 million meso. This sale added another substantial profit of 11.7 million meso to her overall earnings and contributed to her Self-Scrolled Profits Achievement. The steady flow of profits continued to bring satisfaction and motivation to Coorie's endeavors.

The day concludes with Coorie's sharp eye spotting several Eye Accessory for INT 100% scrolls priced below the market value. Seizing the opportunity, she swiftly takes advantage and purchases them at prices below 2 million meso each. Knowing their value, Coorie sells each of these scrolls for 2.5 million meso, securing yet another profitable transaction. Her keen observation and decisive actions continue to prove fruitful in her pursuit of maximizing profits.

With all of that, her bank has swiftly bounced back to where she was prior to the gloves scrolling setback, with 3 more unsold 22 total magic attack earrings in her inventory this time, achieving a remarkable recovery in just a single day.

Day 53 - Shameless Aspirations and Contemplating an Adventurous Path

Coorie's pursuit of success in gloves scrolling continues to elude her grasp. Despite her efforts, she finds herself unable to achieve the desired results, with her best creation being a modest 13 total magic attack Red Marker. The path she has taken thus far has led to a loss of over 150 million meso, sinking further resources into the production of magic attack gloves. Nonetheless, she manages to sell two of her failed 10 total magic attack Red Markers for 15 million meso each, recovering a portion of her investment.

Hoping to recuperate some of the costs, Coorie considers selling her 13 total magic attack Red Marker for around 65 to 85 million meso, regarding the remaining amount as an unfortunate loss. Additionally, she hasn't forgotten the sombre fact that opening Mysterious Coin Pouch 5 resulted in a loss of 28 million meso. Despite the setbacks, she decides to keep one last 10 total magic attack Red Marker for herself, as she has an alternate plan in mind.

Recognizing the importance of knowing when to give up, Coorie decides to abandon her pursuit of scrolling magic attack gloves. Sometimes, relinquishing a futile endeavor can be a victorious move in itself. And in the midst of failure, she discovers a spark of triumph. Coorie successfully scrolls yet another 22 total magic attack Red Emerald, showcasing how failures can pave the way to greater success.

While her earrings are no longer attracting interest from buyers, Coorie is content to part with them even at a reduced price of 100 million meso, considering the substantial profits she has already gained.

Managing her store diligently, she stumbles upon a message left by a disgruntled player who attempts to shame her for reselling their 6 LUK 53 weapon attack Blue Scarabs that were purchased at the price of 6 million meso. Unfazed by the attempt, Coorie embraces her shameless approach, which has proven instrumental in her journey thus far.

Shamelessly merchandising her way to success, she seizes opportunities like the Bottomwear for DEX 60% priced at a mere 250k meso, which she can resell for a handsome 2 million meso.

The Wand for Magic Att 30% scrolls, available for 5 million meso, become yet another shameless venture as Coorie buys them and resells at 6.5 million meso. Though she contemplates using them for her own wands, she opts for a profitable resale until the market price stabilizes.

Coorie's mind begins to wander, contemplating embarking on an adventure once she completes her Free Market Challenge. Intrigued by a scrolled 8 INT Maple Flag, she secures a cheap clean 1 INT Maple Flag and a handful of Sword for Magic Att 70% scrolls.

To her astonishment, all the scrolls pass, resulting in the creation of an 8 INT Maple Flag. Keeping her promise to retain the last Red Marker, she reserves it for HP Washing purposes. Additionally, she decides to keep one of her 6 INT Red Emerald Earrings for personal use.

In a bid to diversify her journey, Coorie embarks on a thrilling foray into the world of investments. With the Anniversary Event drawing to a close, she actively seeks out potential items to invest in, keeping her strategies and plans confidential for the time being. A significant portion of her meso reserves hints at the endeavors she has undertaken. She eagerly anticipates reaching her milestone of 1 billion meso, at which point she plans to unveil new goals she aspires to achieve during her ongoing Free Market Challenge.

Day 54 - Adventurous Investments and the Dragon Khanjar Chronicles Continues?

Coorie began her day with a pleasant surprise as her 22 total magic attack Red Emerald Earrings were sold for a whopping 120 million meso. It seemed that Red Emerald Earrings were gaining more interest due to their higher INT stats. Taking note of this, Coorie contemplated lowering the price of her 22 total magic attack Fallen Leaf Earrings to 100 million meso. Surely, at this price point, they would be irresistible. However, she decided to test the market response by initially lowering it to 110 million meso.

With her upcoming adventure in mind, Coorie continued her search for items that might prove useful. She came across a clean 68 weapon attack Japanese Map priced at 222k. This particular weapon boasted the fastest attack speed for a two-handed sword, and Coorie considered the possibility of scrolling it for her own use.

Additionally, she stumbled upon a clean pair of Silver Strap Shoes with 6 jump priced at 500k, a relatively affordable deal. She thought about scrolling some speed to it to increase her mobility during her adventure.

While browsing, she also noticed a clean Old Raggedy Cape selling below market price at 750k. Recognizing its potential, she considered scrolling some DEX on it to enhance her accuracy during her adventure.

Speaking of accuracy, Coorie stumbled upon a clean Blue Old Winconsin with 8 accuracy being sold for 350k meso. Intrigued by the prospect, she considered using a few Helmet for Accuracy 70% scrolls to enhance its stats and evaluate the outcome.

Among her findings was a Pig Illustrated priced at just 3,333 meso, which she thought would be a fun item to scroll.

Lastly, she came across some Cream Shortcakes selling for 555k meso each. Having previously sold a few for 700k meso, she saw an opportunity to make a profit from them.

Coorie realized that she hadn't been sharing the missed deals she came across lately. With so much happening each day, she believed that prioritizing the deals she found and her scrolling endeavors was of greater importance. It is also due to the increasing length of her journal entries, which made them more time-consuming to write, she decided to omit the missed deals from her entries. This adjustment would help her journal catch up more easily with the real-time events she was experiencing.

Today, however, Coorie decided to share a few unfortunate missed opportunities she encountered. There was a Face Accessory for Avoidability 30% scroll that sold for 5.9 million meso, typically fetching 8 to 9 million meso.

Additionally, a 100k Bow for Weapon Att 30% scroll easily sold for 5 million meso or more.

Two 2 INT Maple Flags were sold for 300k each, while Coorie believed they could fetch 2 to 3 million meso each or more.

In a peculiar shop, Coorie noticed two Maple Claws priced at 500k each. Surprisingly, the one with 18 weapon attack was sold, while the one with 19 weapon attack remained available for purchase. It struck Coorie as odd that a buyer would choose a lower stat item when both were priced the same.

Despite the perception that Coorie was done with Maple Claws, she had actually been discreetly amassing a collection of Maple Claws with weapon attacks ranging from 19 to 22. Anticipating the potential increase in value after the event, Coorie had acquired the Maple Claws for under 1 million meso each. However, she acknowledged the possibility of other players also collecting them in bulk. Nonetheless, given the minimal impact on her wealth, Coorie contemplated the idea of scrolling some of the Maple Claws to weapon attacks beyond 35, making them even more enticing to potential buyers.

Another interesting find was a scrolled 28 weapon attack Dragon Khanjar listed at 150 million meso, with a supposed offer of 44 Prestigious Coins. Coorie questioned the legitimacy of the offer and pondered why the seller had not accepted it, given the minimal difference in value, or even considering that each coin was valued at approximately 3.4 million meso, which made the difference a mere 400k meso.

As for her own Dragon Khanjar, she had not revealed the outcome of her last scroll used on the fifth slot.

To unveil the truth, she had successfully passed the scroll, leaving the weapon intact and with 2 slots left to go. Her goal of achieving the dream 29 weapon attack Dragon Khanjar seemed closer than ever.

Recently, the Shield for Weapon Att 70% scrolls had been swept off the market, causing the price to promptly rise to 8 million meso each due to limited availability.

Coorie managed to find one at 3.5 million meso but hesitated to use it, fearing it could potentially be the end of her Dragon Khanjar.

To recap, she had purchased the Dragon Khanjar at 10 million meso, already enhanced to +2 with 19 weapon attack. Subsequently, she successfully passed 1 slot using a 70% scroll, followed by 2 more slots using two additional 70% scrolls, bringing her to the current stage. She had invested 18.3 million meso thus far, and with the upcoming 3.5 million meso scroll, the total investment would amount to 21.8 million meso. Considering that this is a smaller amount as compared to her previous losses, Coorie decided it was worth a try.

With anticipation in her heart, Coorie prepared to make the next scroll attempt, hoping for success in her quest for the ultimate Dragon Khanjar...

I've decided to have a go at the MapleLegends' 8th Anniversary
    Community Event
for a chance to win the chair for Coorie, and perhaps a new hairstyle.

I'll also share the comic strip here as it's relevant to the Free Market. It was partially inspired by the reply LeonardoJF made. But since he already has an entry, I can't include him as part of the team sweatmush

It tells the story of a scroll's birth into the MapleLegends world, carrying the potential to bestow greatness upon an item. However, its fate takes a twist as it is traded among numerous players, eventually finding itself amidst a pile of other scrolls, facing the possibility of being left unused and forgotten.

Day 55 - Final Breath of the Dragon

Coorie begins the day with a few sales, cherishing every bit of meso earned. Although three of her 22 total magic attack earrings remain unsold, she remains optimistic that once the Anniversary Event concludes, players will shift their focus back to grinding, prompting new mages and bishops to seek upgrades. Coorie believes her earrings will be an ideal mid-range choice for them. With less than 24 hours left before the event ends, Coorie continues her search for potential investments.

Lately, she has been collecting Elemental Wands, particularly those priced below 2 million meso with a total magic attack range of 145 or higher. Today, she stumbles upon a 1 INT 147 magic attack Elemental Wand 6, listed at a mere 1 million meso. Coorie envisions a potential profit of 5 to 12 million meso once the market supply of wands diminishes. These wands have the potential to yield profits of 250% or more compared to their purchase price. At worst, they can still serve as valuable scrolling items.

Now, onto the moment you've been waiting for—the outcome of the 6th slot on the Dragon Khanjar!

It's a resounding success! However, the most nerve-wracking part of the scrolling process lies ahead—the final slot. With the weapon now boasting 27 attack, Coorie estimates the value of a fully scrolled 27 weapon attack Dragon Khanjar to be around 50 to 60 million meso, which she finds underwhelming at this point.

After consulting Discord sale history and current listings, she estimates that a 29 weapon attack Dragon Khanjar could fetch anywhere between 150 and 180 million meso. Therefore, using a 70% scroll seems to be the best option, offering a 70% chance of tripling the value, a 15% chance of retaining 50 million meso, and a 15% chance of ending up with nothing.

While Coorie contemplates using a 60% scroll, she still wants to maximize her chances of success.

While Shield for Weapon Att 70% scrolls are still being sold for over 7 million meso, she manages to find one priced at 3.88 million.

And now, the most anxiety-inducing moment arrives as she applies the scroll onto the final slot...

Day 56 - Perception Shift and Secret Investments?

As the MapleLegends 8th Anniversary Event comes to a close, Coorie eagerly awaits the changes in the market trends that will unfold in the coming weeks. She hopes that the items she invested in will experience a surge in price, although she acknowledges that not all items will yield the same results. Coorie carefully selected her investments to minimize potential losses, ensuring that she can at least sell them back at the price she initially paid.

Taking a strategic approach, Coorie consciously decided against heavily investing in any single item. She understands that each item has a limited pool of potential buyers, and diversifying her investments mitigates the risks of oversupply and price fluctuations.

While tending to her store, Coorie appreciates the few sales of magic attack gloves, even if they are not the specific ones she had anticipated selling. Every sale contributes to her progress and is a step towards her goals.

Coorie is also pleased with the positive sales of her Wand for Magic Att 30% scrolls. She had quietly accumulated over 20 of them, acquiring them at prices ranging from 5.2 million meso and below.

Initially listing them for sale at higher prices, around 6.5 million meso and gradually adjusting downwards as the market prices decrease, Coorie has been able to generate a satisfactory amount of meso from these scrolls. With the scroll prices stabilizing towards the pre-event average of 5 million meso, Coorie considers the possibility of acquiring them below that threshold to potentially use for scrolling her wands.

Concerned about the perception and value of her 22 total magic attack earrings, Coorie decides to temporarily remove them from her store shelves for a day or two. By doing so, she aims to assess the market response and prevent the earrings from being perceived as overpriced or too commonplace, which could negatively impact their value.

Additionally, Coorie lowers the prices of her lower-stat earrings in order to stimulate sales and create more space in her inventory. At this point, any sale of these earrings would result in pure profit, regardless of the selling price.

It's worth noting that a significant portion of Coorie's wealth remains unaccounted for. She chooses to keep the details undisclosed for now, waiting for the right time to boast about her profitable investments or potentially grappling with the shame of a bad decision. Time will reveal the outcome of these mysterious endeavors.
