    Day 21 - A Fool's Reckless Temptations

Coorie has gained some mesos and a small profit from selling the 3 Prestigious Coins she obtained from the Mystery Coin Pouch 1 previously. And what better way to make use of the mesos than by opening more pouches, babyyyyyy!!

Coorie comes across a Mysterious Coin Pouch 2, which is uncommon before the Anniversary Event. Since the event started, these pouches have started to appear. Coorie feels a strong temptation to get it, but something inside tells her, "NO!"

Opening this pouch could potentially result in a loss of more than 6 million mesos, and that would definitely suck. Coorie should just settle for a Pouch 1 and be content with whatever outcome it brings...

    Orrr...?

Coorie was lucky that she didn't lose any mesos. Getting 7 Prestigious Coins from a Pouch 2 is just as good as getting 3 Prestigious Coins from a pouch 1, the profit remains the same. Coorie reflects on the fact that 20 million mesos could actually buy three Pouch 1, potentially yielding up to 9 Prestigious Coins in total, compared to the 8 coins from a Pouch 2. Opening a Pouch 1 first could minimize the loss if things don't go well and just stop there. Coorie realizes the need to slow down and think deeply before being so reckless next time.

Although she got lucky this time, it won't always be the case...

Day 22 - Masks of Mockery

Finally, Coorie has some significant sales to celebrate. The pair of Elemental Wand 7, purchased at 13 million each, has been sold for 15 million each, resulting in a profit of 2 million each. Although the profit margin is not substantial, it's a welcome boost to Coorie's mesos for new investments. With this success, it's time for another shopping spree.

First, Coorie casually comes across a few Face for Avoidability 10% scrolls priced at 500k each, three to be exact. She has previously sold a couple of these scrolls for 900k to 1.2 million each, yielding a decent profit margin of more than 100%. Comparatively, the profit from the Elemental Wand 7, which was 2 million each, translates to roughly 8.7% profit considering the purchase price of 13 million each. Having these wands in inventory for too long could lead to missed opportunities and she is glad to have them cleared off the shelf.

While browsing the market, Coorie stumbles upon an unfortunate store where many of the face masks have already been sold at very low prices. The sight of missed opportunities is disheartening, and it feels as though those sold masks are mocking her.

Scrolling down further however, Coorie notices a single mask left unsold, a clean 10 Accuracy Sad Mask, priced at 500k mesos. This item could potentially fetch 4-5 million mesos. How generous of the buyer! Despite feeling bitter, she thought with a hint of resignation, "Well, it's better than nothing, I suppose."

Scrolling to the end, Coorie sees more masks that have been sold. It's a depressing sight. However, it seems the buyer left her another Crying Mask. Coorie silently purchases it, thinking it would serve as a great souvenir to remind her of these missed masks deals.

Despite the disappointment, she noticed a clean 2 LUK, 8 Weapon Attack Khanjar still available for 500k and couldn't help but think that it might actually be worth something.

Author's Note: Due to Coorie's current level being only 20, she is unable to wear the mask that has a minimum requirement of level 25. Therefore, I had to use photo editing techniques to depict her wearing the mask.

After all the events surrounding the masks, Coorie concluded that it would be beneficial to take a break and contemplate life. The idea of visiting the beach crossed her mind...

Day 23 - A Salty Journey with a Savory Finale

After yesterday's unfortunate encounter with the mask store, Coorie begins her new day as usual, scouring the free market for good deals. As she explores, she stumbles upon the same store that hasn't cleared its sold listings. It's been a while, so Coorie doesn't feel as bitter as before as she looks through the shop.

However, her eyes widen when she notices a sold clean Crushed Skull with 118 weapon attack, priced at only 2 million mesos. This item could easily fetch over 10 million! How did she miss this yesterday?

Coorie flashes back and realizes that it was actually unsold when she was browsing through the shop. She can't believe she let this opportunity slip! It's unforgivable!

Coorie comes to the realization that she shouldn't have let her emotions be clouded by the abundance of masks sold at low prices. This mistake serves as a valuable lesson for her to always be vigilant and not let her guard down next time.

Then, she comes across a couple of missed deals: a Face Accessory for Avoidability 60% scroll sold for only 400k, a clean Blue Sauna Robe sold at 50k, and a Claw for Attack 30% scroll sold for a mere 300k when its value is well above 7 million. She also spots a Bow for Attack 30% scroll sold at 1.5 million, with an expected value of over 4.5 million.

Arghhh... the pain is excruciating..., a perfect example of salt being poured into the wound.

Moving on, she discovers a pair of unsold clean Maple Claws with 19 weapon attack, priced at 888k and 288k respectively. At such a price tag, it's almost a guaranteed profit. It's time to put the Claw for Attack 60% scrolls to good use, as Coorie doesn't foresee them selling anytime soon. She manages to successfully pass 4 and 5 slots on the claws, bringing their weapon attack up to 27 and 29 respectively. It's not a bad outcome considering the investments made. Even if they don't sell immediately, they are expected to increase in value after the Anniversary Event.

Additionally, Coorie comes across another clean Maple Claw with 21 weapon attack, priced at 6 million mesos. Although the price is significantly higher compared to the previous two, it is still considered favorable. Encouraged by her positive gains, Coorie decides to give it a go and scrolls it as well. To her delight, it turns out to be a decent success.

The weapon attack of the Maple Claw increases to 31, making it a valuable item that can easily be sold for over 10 million mesos, as the weapon attack 30 Maple Claw that she had previously purchased for 5 million mesos had been sold for an impressive 11 million mesos. Coorie feels satisfied with the outcome, knowing that her investment has paid off.

The day takes a turn for the better when, in a stroke of luck, Coorie can't believe her eyes. She spots an Earring for INT 30% scroll being sold for only 550k mesos. These scrolls can easily fetch 12-14 million mesos each. Coorie double-checks to ensure it's not an Earring for DEF, HP, or LUK scroll, and indeed, it is an INT scroll.

Despite the bitter start, the day ends on a positive note for Coorie, leaving her feeling satisfied with her discoveries.

The avoidability build wasn’t intentional. Avoidability masks tend to be cheaper maybe that’s why I bought it.

I took a break from ML after that and only came back to play right before the Anniversary Event. I planned to wash out all the INT once I reached lv160, and have 15k HP.

Day 24 - Today We Go Dark and Deep 2

Coorie found herself in possession, for too long, of an Earring for LUK 30% scroll that she had purchased at a decent deal of 333k mesos. Despite her efforts, she was unable to sell it for 700k mesos and it was occupying valuable store space. The thought crossed her mind to use it as a makeshift butt wipe, jokingly considering the potential +3 LUK on her posterior. However, she quickly dismissed the idea, not willing to risk obliterating her behind instead.

Instead, she decided on the more genius and sensible option: using the scroll on a pair of earrings.

Coorie had been collecting Fallen Leaf Earrings, those which lacked any magic attack and could be acquired for less than 500k mesos.

Perhaps it was time to embark on another scrolling adventure. And what better scrolls to use than the 70% dark scrolls? Coorie had obtained 20 Earring for LUK 70% scrolls, readily available and reasonably priced under 200k mesos.

With an itch for some scrolling action, Coorie dove into the task at hand. The journey kicked off on a positive note as she triumphantly annihilated two earrings in rapid succession, albeit with a touch of sarcasm for the "good start."

The third earring failed on the second slot, followed by disappointment when the fourth earring failed on the fourth slot. It was a pity, but Coorie didn't lose hope.

Note: The author observed that Coorie is currently sporting a Maple Bandana White instead of her usual sunhat. Please excuse the lack of a new facial expression, as the author is feeling a bit lazy. Thank you for your understanding.

Then, on her fifth attempt, something magical happened. Coorie managed to successfully pass the first four slots and the final slot reserved for the 30% scroll. It was another butt-clenching moment, filled with anticipation. To her surprise and delight, the 30% scroll succeeded!

She had attained another earring with 11 LUK. Since it was on a Fallen Leaf Earring this time, boasting extra stats of HP and MP, it was expected to fetch a higher price than her previous Red Cross Earrings. This one truly deserves the valuable store space.

Unsure of its exact value, Coorie decided to list it at a high price while she researched its reasonable market value. It was yet another satisfying scroll, leaving her feeling accomplished and ready for her next adventure.

    Day 25 - Market Observations

Coorie has been keeping a close eye on the market and noticed an increase in the supply of items. She speculates that this surge is likely due to the Rare Gachapon Ticket being included as part of the Event Raffle rewards.

Despite pricing her 3 INT Red Emerald Earrings at a competitive 6 million mesos, she hasn't been able to sell them yet, especially with the current market conditions. Coorie has observed that the 3 INT variants are commonly priced below 6 million mesos, some even as low as 4.5 million. Similarly, the 2 INT versions are being sold for as low as 2 million, even though she managed to sell one at 3.5 million earlier in the event.

Coorie decides to temporarily take both of her 3 INT Red Emerald Earrings off the shelf and observe the situation closely. It's a prudent move as she realizes the need to step back and assess the wider picture before making any hasty investments. There might be hidden factors at play that she is yet unaware of, and it's essential to exercise caution during this uncertain period.

Another observation Coorie makes is the relatively slower influx of Maple Equipment into the market. This slower rate impacts her scroll investments, as the supply of scrolls from Gachas seems to be outpacing the availability of suitable Maple Equipment to enhance.

Additionally, her Maple Claws are not selling as well as she had anticipated. She speculates that the event may not have attracted many new players this time around, resulting in lower demand for such items.

Intriguingly, Coorie has also noticed a decrease in the rate of Mysterious Coin Pouches. It could be a deliberate adjustment to the Event Raffle to balance the economy, or it might simply be because several days have passed and players have already reached their weekly quota. Despite this development, Coorie remains optimistic as she acknowledges that it's still early in the event, and circumstances can change rapidly.

Behind the scenes, Coorie appears to be formulating a secret plan, keeping her intentions hidden for now. She believes that unveiling her strategies prematurely could potentially jeopardize her grand scheme. Alternatively, it's possible that she is merely going about her usual deal hunting routine, seeking the best opportunities. Only time will reveal her true intentions and the outcomes of her endeavors.

Here is a snippet of the transaction for this journal entry. Unfortunately, the author didn't capture screenshots of the sales, so instead, they present you with this spreadsheet for your viewing. Negative amounts indicate spending, while positive amounts indicate sales.

Day 26 - Unveiling the Hotspots of Good Deals

Have you ever wondered where all the good deals are usually found? Well, get ready for a treat because Coorie is about to share some juicy information. Feast your eyes on this heatmap, displaying the frequency of good deals that Coorie has come across, whether they were snagged by Coorie herself or by other players.

Under each room number of its respective channel, you'll find the number of times Coorie has witnessed a good deal. Coorie defines a good deal as an item that is priced such that it can be resold quickly for a profit or an item that may take some time to sell but promises confident returns.

Each instance represents at least one deal in a store, and multiple different stores in the same room are counted as separate instances. If a store clears its listings and adds new deals, it's also counted as another instance.

Take a moment to observe the heatmap closely. Notice anything intriguing? Channel 2, Room 2 is a blazing hot spot for deals. There are a total of 88 recorded instances, with Channel 2 Room 2 alone accounting for 14.77% of them. Coorie might have an explanation for this phenomenon.

Typically, stores fill up starting from Channel 1 in ascending room numbers that are closer to the Free Market Entrance. The other popular places to set up stores are usually Room 1 to 6 in other channels. Channel 2, Room 1 is often filled to capacity, but it is at Channel 2, Room 2 where things get interesting. This room is frequently 50% to 80% filled, making it a popular choice for new players to set up their stores at the remaining vacant spots. The convenience of its location, relatively close to the Free Market entrance, likely plays a role in attracting newcomers. It also serves as a convenient room for potential buyers to visit after exploring the rooms in Channel 1, making it an excellent choice. Moreover, new players are more prone to mispricing their items, inadvertently creating a favorable environment for discovering good deals.

It's important to note once again that these deals include those witnessed by Coorie being sold, and not necessarily the ones she has personally snagged. In fact, she estimates that she has only encountered around 5% of these tantalizing deals. So, there's a vast world of potential profits out there waiting to be explored.

Armed with this valuable knowledge, keep your eyes peeled and venture into the thriving hotspots to uncover those hidden gems. The next lucrative deal might just be waiting for you in Channel 2, Room 2 or any other unexpected location. Happy deal hunting!

Day 27 - A Sinister Upgrade for the Maple Dagger

Deals after deals slipped through Coorie's fingers, and luck seemed to have abandoned her. It had been quite a while since she last managed to successfully snag a good deal.

In the midst of her misfortune, Coorie stumbled upon a clean Maple Dagger, a tantalizingly close step away from perfection. However, with frustration building up from the continuous streak of bad luck, Coorie's sentiments towards this particular Maple Dagger were far from favorable.

It was a new addition to MapleLegends, an exclusive weapon crafted specifically for the game, yet Coorie couldn't help but feel a sense of dissatisfaction towards its existence. Surprisingly, the original MapleStory did not feature a level 35 Maple Dagger, unlike most other weapons with their Maple-themed counterparts.

This dagger finds itself in an interesting position, especially since we already have the Korean Fan at the same level, which doesn't require secondary stats to equip as well. The difference is that the Korean Fan provides 5 Accuracy and 5 Avoidability with a "fast" attack speed, whereas the new Maple Dagger offers 10 Avoidability with a "faster" attack speed, a somewhat negligible enhancement. And one thing the Maple Dagger can never surpass is the fact that the Korean Fan can be wielded by any class.

Coorie can't help but feel that the design of the Maple Dagger is rather mismatched. Compared to the simplistic designs of other Maple weapons, it appears overly complex and seems to be a modified version of an existing dagger design. It's as if they forcefully shoved the existing dagger up the dark hole and swiftly pulled it out to create the Maple Dagger. Nevertheless, let's move on from the criticism.

Thinking that this dagger shouldn't have even existed in the first place, Coorie was determined to put it through the ultimate trial of 70% scrolls. Despite all the adversities, Coorie breathed a sigh of relief, thankful that she didn't end up completely annihilating the dagger. After all, that would have been a waste of her hard-earned mesos. The dagger endured the rigorous scrolling process and emerged unscathed. Out of the seven available slots, an impressive six were successfully enhanced, resulting in a remarkable +6 upgrade, an additional 6 LUK, and a grand total of 66 Weapon Attack. The numbers seem fitting for this sinister weapon.

To further emphasize its unique attributes, Coorie decided to price the enhanced Maple Dagger at 6,666,666 mesos. A fitting value, considering its newfound power and the mischievous charm it exudes. It remains to be seen who will be enticed by this wickedly enhanced Maple Dagger, but Coorie is ready to unleash its potential upon the MapleLegends market.

Day 28 - Turning Trash into Treasure

Sales are finally picking up again, and Coorie is relieved. The Maple Claw with a scrolled 29 weapon attack was sold for 7 million meso, slightly lower than expected but still a profitable transaction of 4,606,112 meso after tax. Coorie had acquired the claw at a bargain price of 888k meso, and with the inclusion of the 60% scrolls totaling around 2.2 million meso, it contributed significantly to the Self-Scroll Profits achievement. So, all in all, it wasn't a bad outcome.

The 6 LUK Fallen Leaf Earrings with 1 slot left were sold for 1 million meso, barely covering their production cost, but no losses were incurred. In fact, Coorie had a great time scrolling the earrings, making it a worthwhile endeavor. With more than 80 million meso in her pocket, she set off on another treasure hunt.

During her search, she came across a pair of 2 INT Red Emerald Earrings being sold for 1.5 million meso. It seemed like the price was still dropping, even after she thought 2 million meso was already a great deal.

To her delight, she also found an Eye Accessory for INT 100% priced at 2 million meso, which she quickly resold for 3 million meso, earning a profit of almost 1 million meso.

While continuing her shopping spree, she noticed a player's smega message wanting to buy Maple Shields with 10 Prestigious Coins. Coorie vaguely recalled seeing a Maple Shield listed slightly below the value of 10 Prestigious Coins. Suddenly, she remembered—it was the same shop that was selling the 2 INT Red Emerald Earrings!

Determined to strike a small deal, she retraced her steps and finally found the shop. The Maple Shield was still unsold, listed at 31 million meso, so Coorie swiftly bought it and offered it to the buyer for 10 Prestigious Coins.

It turned out that the player was an avid reader of Coorie's journal. She acknowledges their role in contributing to her meso challenge and expresses her sincere appreciation for their support.

She had previously sold a couple of these
Prestigious Coins for 3.4 million meso each. Even if they don't sell, keeping Prestigious Coins as currency wasn't a bad idea. They also offered the option to exchange them for other valuable items. Though the profit from this exchange was relatively small, around 2 million meso, Coorie believed that every step with a small amount of meso could go a long way.

Now, one of Coorie's meso-earning plans comes into play. Remembering that the Event Raffle is offering Rare Gachapon Tickets as rewards, she knows that Ellinia's gachapon is one of the most popular places to use these tickets. There is a slightly higher chance of obtaining INT and Magician items, which are highly valuable and sought after. One such item is the Elemental Wands.

Since the Anniversary Event, Coorie has noticed an increase in the number of Elemental Wands entering the market, causing the price of some to drop slightly. There are level 70 and level 130 Wands, but Coorie has her eye on the Level 70 ones, as more players will reach level 70 compared to level 130, thus attracting more potential buyers.

Coorie searches for wands priced around 500k meso or lower, with stats not too far from average. She then scrolls them using 60% and 70% scrolls, depending on the outcome for each slot. Here are the results of her scrolling:

Coorie is quite satisfied with the outcomes. Out of the 8 wands, 5 of them surpassed 100 total magic attack.

She had invested approximately 8.5 million meso in their production and within an hour, sold one of the wands for 9 million meso, already covering the costs and generating a small profit. The sale of the wand alone adds a whopping 7,525,001 mesos to the Self-Scroll Profits achievement. This leaves her with 4 more wands to generate additional profits.

Additionally, Coorie successfully sold her Liu Bei Dagger for 6 million meso, making a significant contribution of 5,281,001 meso to the Self-Scroll Profits achievement as well.

With her sales and investments, Coorie's entrepreneurial endeavors are gradually paying off. She carefully monitors the market trends, identifies undervalued items, and utilizes her scrolling expertise to enhance their appeal. It's a game of strategy and calculated risks, but Coorie is enjoying every moment of it.

As she counts her earnings and reflects on her progress, Coorie feels a sense of accomplishment. The MapleLegends Free Market is full of opportunities for resourceful players like her, and she's determined to continue exploring and capitalizing on them.

Excited by the success of her recent transactions, Coorie eagerly looks forward to the next adventure that awaits her. There are still treasures to be discovered, deals to be struck, and profits to be made. With her wit and dedication, Coorie is confident that she will continue to thrive in the ever-evolving MapleLegends marketplace.

Would you consider also listing your prestigious coins at the end of each post similar to how mesos are listed? Would make sense since you're keeping some to use as a currency

Ahh ok, I’ll consider. So far I’ll just sell all the coins in store for 3.35-3.4m per coin. They usually get sold within a day or 2.

Day 29 - Enhancing Market Surveillance

The MapleLegends 8th Anniversary Event has been underway for almost a week now, and Coorie has started to notice an increase in Maple Equipment available in the market. But before delving into that, Coorie wants to share one last update on the heatmap of good deals specifically for Channel 1 and Channel 2, even though it reveals precious trade secrets that should ideally remain undisclosed.

Unsurprisingly, Channel 2, Room 2 continues to dominate the scene, and it's evident that this is no mere coincidence. Additionally, counting from the bottom, the second row of rooms in Channel 1 is starting to show promising activity as well. While you may come across enticing deals in Rooms 7 to 12 on a daily basis, be prepared for the disappointment of missing out, as most of these opportunities have already been snatched up. In fact, Coorie has been optimizing her market scanning routine based on this data, and the results are proving fruitful compared to the previous brute-force approach of scanning the entire market.

While some may argue that not scanning the entire market could potentially lead to missed opportunities, there are certain rooms that Coorie categorizes as "cold rooms." These rooms seldom yield worthwhile deals, and spending additional time on them can actually hinder your chances of securing a good deal elsewhere. Time is of the essence, especially when many other deal hunters are constantly scanning the market. Deals don't last long before they vanish from the stores. With that being said, let's shift the focus back to the increasing presence of Maple Equipment.

Before diving further, Coorie would like to express her gratitude towards a friendly player who generously offered to clean up the mess of the "6666" Maple Dagger for a substantial sum of 6,666,666 mesos. The sale of the Maple Dagger has made a contribution of 5,529,999 mesos towards the Self-Scrolled Profits achievement. Coorie is truly thankful for their assistance and wants to extend an offer to have the dagger signed as a token of appreciation, should they ever desire it.

In addition, Coorie is pleased to share that the previously made weapon attack 27 Maple Claw has been successfully sold for 3 million mesos. Although it may seem like a relatively small amount, this transaction still resulted in a profit of 1,306,112 mesos, and also created space for other valuable items in Coorie's inventory. Every bit of profit counts, and Coorie is satisfied with the outcome.

Coorie stumbled upon another remarkable find: a clean Maple Claw with a humble 19 weapon attack listed for a mere 1.2 million mesos.

To her delight, six out of seven 60% scrolls successfully enhanced the claw, resulting in a respectable 31 weapon attack. Coorie anticipates a minimum selling price of 10 million mesos, or even if it doesn't sell immediately, its value is likely to rise once the Anniversary Event concludes. Keeping the Maple Claw for a longer period is not a concern for Coorie since the investment in creating it was relatively insignificant.

As luck would have it, today turned out to be a fortunate day for Coorie. She stumbled upon two Maple Skandas, one with 34 weapon attack and the other with 36 weapon attack. Surprisingly, they were still unsold at 3.3 million and 5 million mesos, respectively. This is undoubtedly a steal considering Coorie has witnessed similar Skandas in the market selling for well over 20 million mesos. It wouldn't hurt to seize this opportunity, especially since the cost of acquisition is just a fraction of her current bank balance.

Furthermore, Coorie discovered a clean Maple Asura Dagger with an impressive 82 weapon attack and 3 STR, listed at a reasonable 9 million mesos. Coorie believes that this dagger has the potential to fetch a price above 10 million or even up to 20 million mesos if luck is on her side. Therefore, she decided to make the purchase without hesitation.

Although Coorie managed to secure some decent deals, she couldn't help but feel a tinge of regret for missing out on a multitude of other great opportunities. There were numerous other missed deals, but listing them all would be quite tedious and time-consuming.

Nonetheless, she celebrated the small wins she did achieve. One notable success was successfully scrolling a Wand 3 to a total magic attack of 103, all for the price of 500k and the additional cost of 1 million meso for the scrolls. Considering the stats of the wand, the overall investment proved to be a true bargain.

Coorie is optimistic that her new and refined scanning routine will increase her chances of discovering more lucrative deals, even if it means finding just one additional gem every few days. Over time, these small victories will accumulate and prove to be substantial in the long run.

The fact that in just 16 days (29 may to 14 june) you've made over 80m is impressive by starting with just a small loan of a million pesos.

Thanks! It does require a bit of time commitment and really good knowledge of the market trend which I'm learning a lot as I do the challenge.

There are so many under-priced items that I simply can't keep up with showing them all, though I'm only getting just a small fractions of the good stuff. I slammed a whole bunch of them in my last entry and still have plenty yet to show that I might just skip some of them.

Day 30 - Revisiting the Starting Line: A Return to Square One?

Coorie finds herself with a remaining balance of 5.4 million mesos after investing a significant portion of her fortune in a collection of earrings and Earring for INT 60% and 70% scrolls. The ongoing Anniversary Event has resulted in an influx of Red Emerald Earrings and Fallen Leaf Earrings, along with an increased supply of scrolls.

Coorie saw an opportunity to create Total Magic Attack(TMA) 21 earrings using 1 INT Red Emerald Earrings and 1 Magic Attack Fallen Leaf Earrings. These earrings were available for less than 1 million mesos, which Coorie swiftly purchased whenever she came across them.

She managed to acquire Earring for INT 60% scrolls at 500k mesos or below and Earring for INT 70% scrolls at 1 million mesos or below, accumulating more than 20 pieces of each.

Remember the time when Coorie found Earring for INT 30% scrolls at a bargain price of 550k mesos? Initially, she had intended to sell them for a substantial amount of 14 million mesos. However, upon discovering this new opportunity, she decided to hold onto them.

Throughout her hunt for good deals, she managed to snag two more Earring for INT 30% scrolls, one for 5 million mesos each and another below market price at 10 million mesos. In total, she now possesses 4 Earring for INT 30% scrolls.

Coorie's plan was to use the first four slots for 60% and 70% scrolls, reserving the last slot for a 30% scroll. This approach significantly reduced the cost of failure at the beginning, and if the expensive 30% scroll passed, it would complete the item. Although it would be ideal to use only 70% scrolls for the best chance of success, Coorie had to mix in some 60% scrolls due to the limited stock of 70% scrolls.

Therefore, she decided to use the cheaper 60% scrolls for the first two slots and the 70% scrolls for the next two. With a total of 24 earrings, 5 of them successfully reached +4 enhancement.

Considering the math, the probability of passing the first two slots with 60% scrolls is 36%. Hence, we should expect approximately 8.64 out of 24 earrings to succeed. Next, the probability of passing both slots using the 70% scrolls is 49%, resulting in approximately 4.23 out of 8.64 earrings reaching +4 enhancement. Statistically, we would expect around 4 successes, but Coorie managed to surpass expectations by achieving 5 successful +4 enhancements, giving her a slight advantage by providing her with one extra attempt at scrolling. If things had not gone well, she would have minimized her losses and considered selling off her Earrings for INT 30% scrolls.

Now, with 5 earrings ready for their final slot to be scrolled with 30% scrolls, Coorie expects approximately 1.5 out of 5 earrings to pass. Since 1.5 is not possible, it would round off to either 1 or 2 successful enhancements, with some degree of deviation. It is also entirely possible that all of them fail, leaving her with nothing. However, Coorie made this decision because she has a substantial number of items in her inventory with decent values. She is willing to take some risks in order to reach new heights of meso accumulation. Although her assets have already surpassed the 100 million mark, Coorie consistently reinvests her earnings into more valuable items rather than letting the mesos sit idle.

Now, it is time for the ultimate scrolling attempt. If Coorie manages to succeed in any of the first two attempts, she plans to stop and sell the remaining earrings as they are.

However, to Coorie's disappointment, both of the first two attempts fail. The good news is that the earrings are not destroyed, and she estimates that she can still sell them for around 5 million mesos each, which would help recover part of the cost.

Now Coorie faces a choice. She can either sell the remaining two 30% scrolls and continue steadily building her wealth, or she can take a risk and continue with the chance of achieving greater gains from the earrings if either of the remaining two scrolls passes.

After much thought, Coorie decides to press on, treating the remaining scrolls as if they were already gone.

To her delight and astonishment, she successfully passes both of the remaining 30% scrolls! The goddess of fortune has smiled upon Coorie. She couldn't be more excited, realizing that she has achieved her biggest success to date.

Coorie invested almost 70 million mesos in total, and any one of these two earrings is likely to sell for more than that. She estimates a market value of 100-120 million mesos for each earring. However, selling them won't be easy, as 100 million mesos is a considerable sum for many players, and they want to ensure that their investment holds value. Coorie surveys the market for similar items and examines how her competitors are pricing their earrings. Since her earrings have a TMA of 21, she looks at earrings with a range of 20-22 TMA. Her strategy is to price her earrings close to the TMA 20 earrings, creating a significant price gap with the TMA 22 earrings.

By presenting potential buyers with the perception that the TMA 21 earrings are only slightly more expensive than the TMA 20 ones, Coorie hopes they will see the value in spending a bit more for the additional magic attack. On the other hand, buyers considering the TMA 22 earrings might choose to save the price difference and opt for the TMA 21 earrings, using the saved mesos to invest in other gears that provide better overall value.

After examining the market, Coorie finds a TMA 20 Amethyst Earrings priced at 90 million mesos,

TMA 22 Single Earrings and Fallen Leaf Earrings priced at 150 million mesos,

and a TMA 22 Red Emerald Earrings listed at 165 million mesos (which has dropped in price over time from 180 million mesos).

Coorie decides to price both of her earrings at 110 million mesos and observe how the market responds. She might be willing to go as low as 90 million mesos and still be content, considering that selling just one earring would cover all production costs with a decent 20 million mesos profit, while still retaining another earring for further profits.

Coorie continues to closely monitor the market trends and keep an eye out for other potential opportunities. She is particularly interested in magic attack gloves or DEX earrings if the odds are favorable. 12 DEX earrings are quite lucrative and could potentially fetch 150-180 million mesos per piece, but they come with the risk of needing to pass two 10%/30% scrolls.

As Coorie anticipates the sales of her valuable items, she acknowledges that the process may take longer than usual. High-value items often require more time and patience to find the right buyers who are willing to invest a substantial amount of mesos. With 5.4 million mesos remaining in her possession, Coorie reflects on her journey from humble beginnings and marvels at how far she has come. She takes a moment to appreciate the valuable treasures she now holds in her inventory. The thought of starting over with a modest amount of 5.4 million mesos sparks a fire within her, igniting her determination to replicate her past successes, armed with the knowledge and experience she has gained along the way.
