Day 31 - Daylight Robbery in the Market!

After the last big success, Coorie anticipated a slow day for sales. She knew that high-value items often take time to sell, so she shifted her focus back to searching for low-margin and quick-sell profits. However, before she could begin, she received a notification about a package delivery.

Curiosity piqued, Coorie felt a longing to venture beyond the confines of the free market. Embracing the opportunity, she decided to take a leisurely stroll to Duey, the package deliverer.

As Coorie made her way past Camila, a familiar resident of Henesys, a tinge of paranoia crept over her. A sense of tension filled the air as she couldn't shake the feeling that Camila might be spying on her. Casting a cautious glance around, Coorie leaned in close and whispered to Camila, "There's nothing worth your attention here, kid."

Coorie received the package and excitedly opened it to reveal the "6666" Maple Dagger. Realizing that the friendly buyer wanted her name tagged on the weapon, Coorie chuckled and briefly signed her name on it.

She promptly sent it back and started heading back to the market, only to notice that Camila was watching her intently. Was she even supposed to have the ability to turn in this direction?

Back at her store, Coorie was delighted to see that her 11 LUK Fallen Leaf Earrings had sold for 12 million mesos. This instant boost in her investment power contributed 5,066,690 mesos to her Self-Scrolled Profits achievement. What seemed like a slow day had suddenly taken a turn for the better, providing her with a significant amount for wider investment opportunities.

Note: These items were actually snatched by both Coorie and CherubiKiwi, as another player had entered the market at that time. They eagerly pounced on the items like a pair of greedy lunatics, neglecting to take any snapshots as evidence of their swift acquisition.

Analyzing her heatmap, Coorie knew exactly which priority rooms to visit. To her delight, the first room she entered proved to be a mini jackpot. She found a clean Purple Adventurer Cape with 8 magic attack, selling for 5.5 million mesos. In the same store, she spotted another Purple Adventurer Cape with 7 magic attack, priced at 1 million mesos.

Both prices were favorable, and Coorie knew exactly who would be interested in the 8 magic attack cape for 3 Prestigious Coins. She quickly sold the coins at 3.3 million mesos each, making a quick profit of 4 million mesos.

In the same room, Coorie's eyes caught sight of a clean Raccoon Mask listed for 5 million mesos, a price significantly lower than its usual market value of 10 million.

Coorie, along with her trusty companion CherubiKiwi, was known for merching items in broad daylight, even in front of the store owner. The seller, a fan of Coorie's journal, willingly accepted their fate and allowed the transaction to take place. It's worth noting that anything CherubiKiwi acquired did not contribute to Coorie's challenge.

Just a few rooms later, Coorie stumbled upon a 3 LUK 35 weapon attack Maple Skanda still available for 2.5 million mesos. She knew that it could be sold for 10 million or more.

In addition, she found a clean 8 speed Smiling Mask for 420k mesos and a clean perfect magic attack Poison Mushroom for 500k meso. Although unsure of their exact value, her instincts told her that they were worth much more.

Coorie couldn't help but recall the missed deals she encountered. It seemed someone was expressing their discontent on a particular store, scolding the owner for listing items without knowing their true value and being ripped off by overly cheap price tags.

Coorie seized an opportunity when she came across a Raccoon Mask that had failed two slots, priced at 2 million mesos. A clean one would usually fetch around 10 million mesos.

She quickly grabbed it and headed to a store selling Eye Accessories for INT 60% scrolls at an affordable price of 88,888 mesos each.

Coorie didn't have high expectations, but it was a fun and cheap gamble.

Surprisingly, all five slots passed successfully, bringing her joy and a potential profit. She expects this item to easily fetch at least 10 million meso when she sells it.

The MapleLegends community continued to show support for Coorie's market endeavors, and her popularity began to grow. As Coorie's market endeavors gained more support from the MapleLegends community, she couldn't help but worry about potential hostility towards her distinctive way of earning mesos by "robbing" people or taking advantage of newcomers who may not be familiar with item prices. However, Coorie firmly believed that it was within the boundaries of fair play and that sellers had a responsibility to conduct their due diligence before listing items in their stores. Moreover, she found that it was usually quite easy to determine the price of items simply by asking around the generally friendly community.

The last highlight of the day was the 9 STR 134 weapon attack Crushed Skull, listed for 7.8 million mesos. It seemed like a misprice, potentially meant to be 78 million mesos. Coorie wasted no time and snatched it from the shop without hesitation.

Despite her total meso count decreasing to 2.3 million, Coorie possessed a valuable collection of goods that couldn't all fit in her store. She carefully selected the most valuable items to display and kept the rest in her inventory. It seemed like the perfect opportunity for Coorie to take a little break while waiting for her items to sell.

Note: A new rule has been added: "Only one store is permissible to be set up at any given time." Coorie has diligently followed this rule all along, which adds an additional challenge of managing store inventory and strategically displaying items at any given moment.

Day 32 - The Skandalous Success of Maple Skandas

Today proved to be a fortunate day for Coorie as she witnessed several of her more expensive items being sold at substantial profits. The Maple Skandas with weapon attacks of 36 and 35 were sold for 25 million and 20 million meso respectively, a significant increase from the 5 million and 2.5 million meso she had initially acquired them for. These sales brought about a considerable boost in her earnings. Furthermore, the clean Raccoon Mask she obtained for 5 million meso was sold for 9 million meso, adding to her growing profits.

With a substantial influx of meso into her bank account, Coorie knew it was time for some well-deserved shopping. This time, she decided to focus only on the positive aspects, the deals she managed to secure.

First, she casually came across some Cape for INT 70% scrolls, purchasing two of them for a total of 1.4 million meso. She quickly sold them for 1 million each, resulting in a swift profit of around 500k meso.

Next, she acquired a clean 2 magic attack Fallen Leaf Earrings for 1 million meso and promptly sold them for 2 million meso. These earrings always had a high demand.

Coorie then stumbled upon what appeared to be a bargain—a clean Elemental Wand 6 with a total magic attack of 147. It seemed vastly undervalued at the current store price of 3 million meso, so she swiftly acquired it.

Lastly, she found another Maple Skandal with 2 LUK and weapon attack 34, listed at 4 million meso. Although it had 1 less LUK compared to the one she already had, she anticipated it could sell for at least 10 million meso. Even if it didn't sell, she considered attempting to scroll it to weapon attack 50. Coorie had noticed some demand for a decent Maple Skanda, but many were hesitant to create them due to the expensive Claw for Attack 30% scrolls. Maple Skanda held a nostalgic appeal for those who favored pure LUK builds back in the day, as it was the highest available claw that didn't require DEX to use.

Later in the day, her 3 LUK weapon attack 34 Maple Skanda was sold for 15 million meso, a significant return on her initial investment of 3.3 million meso. It truly was a blessed day as her wealth exceeded 70 million meso, even as she awaited the sale of her two pairs of 21 total magic attack earrings. The total profits of 47,666,668 meso generated from the sale of Maple Skandas have exceeded all previous gains, truly showcasing their skandalous success.

Coorie also noticed a growing demand for Clean Slate Scroll 3% scrolls, with buyers willing to pay up to 650k meso each. Swiftly seizing the opportunity, she purchased all the scrolls priced at 500k meso or below, aiming to earn a modest profit. She acquired over 30 scrolls and listed them in her store.

Later that night, a player purchased the scrolls, managing to successfully pass one within 15 scrolls. Coorie recouped most of her investment, leaving the remaining scrolls as pure profit.

Lastly, Coorie made a lucrative exchange by selling the 5 INT Raccoon Mask, which she had originally scrolled from the 5 slots mask for 2.5 million meso. This transaction fetched her a handsome sum of 11 million meso. The successful sale not only brought her great satisfaction but also contributed a significant amount of 8,102,784 meso towards her Self-Scrolled Profits Achievement.

With the increasing number of sales, Coorie decided to lower the price of the 21 total magic attack earrings to 100 million meso each, hoping to entice potential buyers with the fear of missing out.

As Coorie basked in the glow of her achievements, she recognized the importance of taking a momentary pause. With her sights set on future endeavors, she embarked on a short break to meticulously plan her next major investment, leveraging the fruits of her previous triumphs to pave the way for even greater success.

Day 33 - Lessons in Timing and Taking Breaks

It had been over a week since the Anniversary Event, and Coorie noticed that the scrolls she had invested in were maintaining their pre-event prices. One particular scroll that caught her attention was the Staff for Magic Attack 30% scroll, which was abundantly available at 1 million meso each. It seemed unlikely that the price would exceed that given the ample supply.

To attract buyers and add a touch of auspiciousness, Coorie decided to sell some of her scrolls at the price of 777,777 meso, hoping the lucky sevens would entice customers seeking good fortune in their scrolling endeavors. Despite the price not increasing as Coorie had hoped during the event, she still managed to make a modest profit on each scroll, having acquired them for 400k or less.

Coorie also made the decision to start selling off some of her Crossbow for Attack 30% scrolls at a price of 977,777 meso each, which was very close to the average amount she had purchased them for. She believed it was better to retrieve some meso at a slight loss, ensuring she had the capital to immediately embark on new investments rather than waiting for the scroll prices to increase, which seemed unlikely in the near future. Even if the prices did eventually rise, Coorie wouldn't regret her choice to sell early, as the meso she obtained from the sales could generate more reliable returns through new and promising investments.

Coorie's funds reached 91 million, marking a significant milestone of possessing 88 million meso. Achieving this milestone felt like a long journey, especially with high-value items taking considerable time to sell. Buyers tended to be cautious when investing in such items, always seeking the best deal possible.

With her newfound wealth, Coorie came across two clean Purple Adventurer Capes with 8 magic attack, priced at 9 million each. Without hesitation, she acquired both capes and later exchanged them for 6 Prestigious Coins, which she sold for 3.3 million each. This successful transaction resulted in a profit of approximately 1.7 million for Coorie.

Additionally, Coorie spotted a Face Accessory for Avoidability 70% scroll priced at 200k. She managed to sell it for 4 million later on. In the same store, there was a Helmet for Accuracy 70% scroll listed at 250k. Coorie recalled selling a similar scroll for 800k before and decided to seize the opportunity once again.

While browsing, Coorie came across a Maple Skanda with 2 LUK and 37 weapon attack, listed at 16.6 million. However, it had already failed one slot. A clean 37 weapon attack Maple Skanda could roughly fetch 30 million or more, so Coorie contemplated the possibility of turning this one into a decent weapon, hoping to replicate the success she had with the 5-slot Raccoon Mask a few days ago.

Previously, Coorie came across a shop that had sold a Maple Skanda with weapon attack 44 for 35 million meso. Now, her goal is to pass 4 out of the 6 available slots to achieve a weapon attack of 45, a value that would significantly increase its price to over 25 million meso.

Though easier said than done, Coorie managed to pass only 3 out of 6 slots, resulting in a weapon attack of 43. This time, it was a loss for Coorie, but she remained undeterred. She believed this Maple Skanda could still sell for at least 15 million. Sometimes things don't always go as planned, and Coorie understood that.

After experiencing disappointing results from her scrolling attempt on the Maple Skanda, and understanding the risks of chasing losses and continuously pushing her luck, Coorie made the decision to take a break from the Free Market.

Seeking a change of pace, she ventured to the event map known as Retro World Balina. She participated in the jumping and dodging training, successfully completing it and earning two pendants that provided 15 additional speed and jump respectively. Coorie appreciated the speed boost as it would allow her to navigate the market more efficiently.

She then tried her hand at the Demon King’s Tower and managed to reach floor 10, earning three Retro Coupons along the way. She exchanged these coupons for a raffle prize, but to her disappointment, only received a bunch of sweet treats and candies. Although the reward couldn't contribute to her free market challenge anyway, Coorie wished she had obtained something more valuable. With her little trip to the theme park concluded, she focused on preparing for her next investment.

Despite being on the brink of reaching the 100 million meso milestone, Coorie felt that now was the prime time to execute her next investment. The market was volatile, and any delay could have a negative impact on her investment plan. She decided that the milestone could wait, as seizing the opportunity at hand was of utmost importance.

Day 34 - A Dive to the Bottom

It seems like Coorie has done it again, spending all her fortune and now she is down to 24 million meso. What did she do this time?

Turns out, she spent all the profits from her skandalous success on a risky venture involving clean 1 INT Yellow Work Gloves, specifically 14 of them.

Coorie had acquired these gloves at an average price of slightly less than 1 million each during her deal hunting over the past two days. Due to the Anniversary Event, there has been an increase in the availability of Yellow Work Gloves and Red Markers. Initially, Coorie had contemplated acquiring 1 INT Red Markers as well, but it seemed that the 1 INT Yellow Work Gloves alone would suffice. Not to mention, Yellow Work Gloves only require level 10 to equip compared to level 20 for the Red Marker, making Yellow Work Gloves more valuable and highly preferred.

Coorie had been closely monitoring the price of Gloves for Magic Att 70%. They were priced between 1.8 million and 2 million each before the event, and she noticed they started to be purchased as the price reached 1.3 million. That's when she decided to purchase a bunch of them at prices between 1 million and 1.5 million each. Along her hunt, she also acquired a few 10% scrolls for 1 million or less, thinking they could be useful to salvage gloves that failed at the 70% midway, offering a small chance of recovery.

Once she felt she had gathered a good amount of scrolls, she began scrolling the gloves. With 14 pairs of 1 INT Yellow Work Gloves and over 30 pieces of Gloves for Magic Att 70% scrolls, her plan was to use the first 4 slots with the 70% scrolls and complete the remaining last slot with the 30% scrolls later on. However, to her dismay, only 1 out of the 14 gloves made it to +4 enhancement, falling well below the expected success rate of 3.36 out of 14.

Two gloves had failed on the 4th slot, though not destroyed entirely, rendering them almost not worth continuing onto the last slot. Coorie also had 3 of the gloves that failed on the 2nd slot, and the rest were destroyed. It was truly disappointing. She was left with only 1 chance with a 30% scroll to either earn back her investments or lose it all—an enormous amount of nearly 68 million meso invested.

Coorie's heart sank to rock bottom. She still had her 10% scrolls for a small chance to salvage the gloves that failed on the 2nd slot. Since the stat gain from 10% scrolls is 3 times the amount of the 70% scrolls, she had 2 tries on each glove, as they had 3 slots remaining. Much to her surprise, 2 of the 10% scrolls actually passed on separate gloves, making them equivalent in stats to +4 with the 70% scrolls but with 2 slots remaining.

That brought the total number of successful gloves to 3, waiting to be scrolled with the 30% scrolls. With fingers crossed, Coorie hoped that at least one of them would pass—just one—and she would be very happy. She decided to pause her scrolling attempts for now and started searching for cheaper Gloves for Magic Att 30% scrolls, priced at 10 million meso or lower, and hope for the best.

Coorie knew that not everything always went smoothly in her investment endeavors, but she remained determined to make the most of her remaining resources and turn the tides in her favor. She understood that in the world of investments, risks were inevitable, and sometimes losses were part of the journey.

Day 35 - Rising from the Depths

After facing setbacks and investing a substantial amount of her fortune, she had successfully created 3 Yellow Work Gloves with 9 total magic attack each. of them had 2 slots remaining, while one had only 1 slot remaining.

The plan was to use Gloves for Magic Attack 30% scrolls on each of them, potentially resulting in gloves with 15 total magic attack.

Coorie estimated their value to be around 100 million meso, provided any of them passed the scrolling attempts. However, the market didn't favor her this time in finding affordable Gloves for Magic Att 30% scrolls like she did with the Earring for INT 30% scrolls. Those were undoubtedly strokes of incredible luck, she thought.

Note: The author regrets the unavailability of a screenshot showcasing the 8.3 million meso scroll on their currently utilized desktop PC. It is possible that the screenshot may reside on their laptop, which is currently inaccessible. As a result, readers will have to rely solely on the author's words and trust their account of the scroll's price.
Update: The author has found the screenshot of the 8.3 million meso scroll and it is now available for reference.

With the current market price sitting around 11 to 12 million meso, Coorie managed to find one scroll priced at 8.3 million and another at 10.4 million. Although she wanted to secure at least one more scroll before attempting the scrolls, impatience got the better of her, and she decided to proceed without it.

The first scroll attempt on a pair of gloves with 2 slots remaining turned out to be a devastating failure, obliterating the gloves into dust without a second chance.

At that moment, Coorie felt a sense of devastation. She had already spent over 86 million meso, and the fear of the remaining two gloves meeting the same fate haunted her. Coorie understood the risks involved in such investments and acknowledged the possibility of not getting anything back, but the pre-scrolling anticipation had been overwhelming.

Summoning courage, Coorie steeled herself for what lay ahead. She still had her 21 total magic attack earrings to fall back on if things went wrong. She closed her eyes tightly and slammed the scroll onto the next pair of gloves, praying for the best.

A wave of relief washed over her as the scroll successfully passed, leaving her with a mix of emotions. Coorie certainly didn't want to go through those pre-scrolling feelings again, but she couldn't deny the thrill that came with the potential rewards. She was still shaking, despite the successful outcome.

Now, with 1 slot remaining, the gloves boasted 15 total magic attack. Coorie pondered her next course of action. She had a few options in mind. She could use:
    1. a 100% scroll to achieve 8 INT and 8 magic attack,

    2. a 60% scroll for a potential 9 INT and 8 magic attack,

    3. a 30% scroll for a chance at 11 INT and 10 magic attack, but with the possibility of losing everything.
Coorie decided on the safer route of using a 60% scroll, also aiming to potentially increase the gloves' value by around 50 million meso if it passed. Even if it failed, she would still be guaranteed at least 100 million meso, which would cover all her costs with profits to spare. The risk of using a 70% scroll wasn't worth it when she had already secured her guaranteed value.

Excitedly, Coorie searched for the current cheapest Gloves for Magic Attack 60% scroll, which she found priced at 1.5 million meso.

To her delight, the scroll passed! Coorie couldn't help but feel happy about this success. As the current market lacked high magic attack gloves for reference at the time of scrolling, she turned to Discord to see if there was any history of gloves with similar stats. While she didn't find an exact match for 17 total magic attack gloves, she did come across a recent auction for a 16 total magic attack White Work Gloves starting at 150 million meso, and a Green Mittens with 18 total magic attack receiving a current offer of 235 million meso.

Based on this information, Coorie estimated that her gloves would be worth somewhere between 180 million and 220 million meso. With this valuation in mind, she listed her gloves for sale at 220 million meso and eagerly awaited the market's response.

Coorie then contemplated whether she should sell the remaining gloves with 9 total magic attack and 1 slot at an attractive price. Additionally, she still had a 13 total magic attack glove with 1 slot from her previous scrolling session. Coorie entertained the idea that if she were lucky enough to find dirt-cheap Gloves for Magic Att 30% and Earring for INT 30% scrolls, she could use them on these gloves as well. Another successful scrolling attempt would surely be a cause for celebration.

Day 36 - A Trip Down Memory Lane

Coorie is relieved that she managed to sell the weapon attack 43 Maple Skanda for 15 million meso. It's a small loss of around 2-ish million, but more importantly, it frees up valuable store space. It's a welcome sale that allows her to move on from the reminder of her past failures.

Later on, one of Coorie's elemental wands sold for 6,666,666 meso, adding 5,338,895 meso to her Self-Scrolled Profits Achievement. This was followed by the sale of one of her failed last slot 13 total magic attack Red Emerald Earrings for 6 million meso. While this didn't directly contribute to her profit yet, it helped offset the production costs, which would be accounted for once all the earrings involved in the scrolling session had been sold.

These sales boosted her bank balance back up to over 30 million meso. With a respectable amount of wealth in hand, Coorie embarks on another deal-hunting adventure, reminiscent of the good ol' days.

She comes across a bunch of weapon stimulators selling at 10k meso each, which can be NPCed for 20k meso each. Although these gains may seem insignificant now, Coorie values the memories they evoke, and with a sense of indifference, she brushes off the notion of needing such petty amounts of meso.

Additionally, she comes across a sizable quantity of Dark Crystal Ores being sold for 2k meso each, with an NPC price of 3.5k meso. Recognizing the low profit potential, she considers it a waste of time and decides to pass on the deal.

In her browsing, she stumbles upon a clean 3 DEX Purple Marker selling for 400k meso. It reminds her of one of her early exploits when a similar marker was sold for 1.2 million meso. She promptly grabs the opportunity.

To her excitement, she also comes across an unsold Gloves for Attack 70% scroll, priced at only 555k meso! She used to miss out on these kinds of deals and felt bitter about it, but now she's starting to find them a little more frequently.

She later sells it for 8 million meso. Coorie's improved market scan has undoubtedly helped her score more deals than before, and she diligently updates her heatmap of good deals, with over 180 instances recorded to date.

Coorie later spots a Face Accessory for Avoidability 30% scroll unsold at 4.6 million meso. These typically go for 8 to 9 million meso. She also finds a Topwear for LUK 70% scroll priced at 500k meso, which she sells for 2.5 million meso.

As she browses the Free Market, more magic attack-scrolled gloves have emerged, many with higher total magic attack than her own. This gives Coorie a better reference for pricing her gloves, and she promptly adjusts them to a more competitive price based on the current market offerings. She focuses on total magic attack ranging from 16 to 18, as those items attract similar buyers who are willing to spend. She wants to increase her chances of customers choosing her items over the others.

Lastly, to end the day on a good note, Coorie opens a Mysterious Coin Pouch 1, an old favorite pastime.

Coorie decides to pay a visit to the friendly weapon shop NPC, using the excuse of nostalgia.

She casually remarks to the readers, "Nothing to see here, please move on."

Day 37 - Cape-italizing the Open and Underground Market

Since the event began, there has been a noticeable increase in the availability of items and scrolls. This has enticed many players to start scrolling items, whether for profit or in the hopes of creating something valuable for themselves at a lower cost. As a result, the market has seen a surge in both supply and demand, leading to an upward trend in prices for certain scrolls.

Note: For context, Coorie had obtained a bulk of Earrings for INT 70% scrolls at an average price of less than 900k meso each. These scrolls were then utilized in her earring scrolling endeavors.

Coorie, being an astute player, had taken advantage of the initially lower prices during the first week of the event while others were busy exploring the event challenges. However, as the event progressed into the second week, the quantity of scrolls significantly decreased, and more scrolled items started appearing on the market. While the emergence of more similar scrolled items added competition for Coorie's own items, the increased price of scrolls added value to her inventory as well.

Note: The accompanying screenshot is taken more recently to showcase the price of the cape. Therefore, the meso amount may not accurately reflect the price at the specific point in time being described in the journal entry.

Among the items affected by these market dynamics was the Purple Adventurer Cape, which experienced a substantial increase in quantity but a decrease in price, some even dropping below 50% of its pre-event value.

The prices of Capes for INT 60% and 70% scrolls remained relatively stable, as scrolled Purple Adventurer Capes with less than 15 total magic attack didn't hold significant value. However, Cape for INT 30% scrolls saw a significant price increase, skyrocketing from the usual 400k to 500k meso range to as high as 2 million meso each.

Recognizing the potential opportunity, Coorie swiftly acquired all the remaining Cape for INT 30% scrolls still selling at 1 million meso or lower, quickly reselling them for 1.5 to 1.8 million meso while the demand was still high.

It's not the first time Coorie has been seen trading a clean 8 magic attack Purple Adventurer Cape for 3 Prestigious Coins each, which are then quickly sold for 3.3 million meso each, thanks to a reliable underground dealer who provides her with a steady supply of coins.

By acquiring 5 capes at 9 million meso each, Coorie was able to make a quick profit of almost 4.4 million meso.

To wrap up the day, Coorie seized the opportunity to purchase a clean 3 LUK 35 weapon attack Maple Skanda for 15 million meso. While she had previously sold one with similar stats for 20 million, it seems that the demand may have subsided. Nonetheless, at a price of 15 million meso, it remains favorable compared to the other listed prices.

Coorie has devised a strategy to leverage the Maple Skanda she obtained as a tool for price control. Understanding that buyers are particularly interested in Maple Skandas with weapon attack ranging from 33 to 37, Coorie plans to establish a midpoint price using her Maple Skanda. If her Maple Skanda sells successfully, she will reap profits. However, if there are other Maple Skandas on the market with lower stats, specifically weapon attacks of 34 and below, they will have to set her price lower than hers. This approach aims to gradually reduce the prices of lower-stat Maple Skandas over time until hers get sold. If the prices become significantly cheaper, Coorie may consider acquiring them for herself.

Note: The journal entries are typically posted with a delay of approximately 1 to 2 days compared to the actual events. This means that by the time the journal is published, the described events may have occurred up to 48 hours ago. Although it may seem like this is an intentional delay to provide Coorie with an advantage by posting outdated information to potential competitors, the reality is that it poses a challenge for her journal to keep up with real-time events. Writing the journal entries can sometimes take longer than the events themselves, resulting in a lag between the recorded events and the time they are documented.

    Day 38 - The Long-Awaited Harvest

The bustling world of deals and scrolls continues to keep Coorie on her toes. Today, she made a decision to clear out her remaining Clean Slate Scroll 3% scrolls at 600k meso each. Having acquired them at 500k or below each, she had already made a decent profit by selling them at 777,777 meso each. Now, it was time to free up some inventory space as her collection kept growing.

Amidst her inventory management, Coorie couldn't help but notice the price increase of Shield for Weapon Att 30% scrolls. They had risen to 5 million meso from their pre-event price of around 3 million meso. This surge in demand was likely due to players seeking to scroll Maple Warrior Shields and Dragon Khanjars. Without wasting any time, Coorie swiftly snatched up the remaining scrolls selling at 3 million meso or below, and promptly sold them at 4 million meso each, earning a quick profit of 3.4 million meso.

With over 47 million meso at her disposal, Coorie set her sights on further deal hunting and investment opportunities. She came across a Maple Skanda with 3 LUK and 34 weapon attack, priced at 9 million meso. Although she had previously sold a similar one at 15 million meso, she still had an unsold 2 LUK 34 weapon attack Maple Skanda listed at 12 million meso. Coorie saw an opportunity to use this as a price control strategy and observed how the market would respond.

During her search, Coorie also stumbled upon a Maple Asura Dagger with a weapon attack of 79, selling at 2.4 million meso. While it might not have been the highest stat, she believed it could potentially fetch a higher price, especially after the Anniversary Event. Additionally, she came across a Maple Asura Dagger with a weapon attack of 81, priced at 5 million meso. CherubiKiwi had previously sold three similar ones at 9 million meso each, and Coorie decided to buy this dagger and test if it could still sell at that price.

Coorie had also been keeping a close eye on Red Markers, particularly the 2 INT variants. Their price had briefly dropped to between 2 and 3 million meso, presenting a prime opportunity for Coorie to acquire some at a lower cost. She planned to sell them at 5 to 6 million meso when the price inevitably went up again.

While browsing the stores, Coorie came across what she initially believed to be a 2 INT Red Marker listed at 6.7 million meso. However, upon closer inspection, she discovered that it was, in fact, a 3 INT Red Marker. Despite the confusion, she confirmed that it still had 5 slots and swiftly acquired it, considering it a steal at that price.

In another stroke of luck, Coorie came across two pairs of Yellow Work Gloves selling at 1.5 million meso each. To her surprise, one of the pairs turned out to be the 2 INT variant, offering excellent value for the price. She eagerly added it to her collection, thrilled by the favorable deals she was finding.

While tending to her store inventory, Coorie noticed someone scrolling near her store and discarding a Raccoon Mask. Intrigued, she picked it up and discovered it had 4 slots remaining.

True to her nature, Coorie decided to scroll it using Eye Accessory for INT scrolls, opting for the 70% scrolls to maximize her chances of success at a relatively low cost.

Although she only passed 3 out of 4 slots, she was still quite satisfied considering the mask was obtained for free. She estimated that it could sell for around 4 to 6 million meso.

Another surprising find was a White Raccoon Mask with 6 slots remaining, priced at 5 million meso. Coorie contemplated acquiring it and scrolling it for 4 INT or more, which would undoubtedly increase its value beyond the initial price. However, she noticed that the mask also had 3 Accuracy on it, sparking an idea to turn it into a decent accuracy mask instead.

Eye Accessory for Accuracy scrolls were readily available and affordable, even for 30% ones. Coorie decided to have some fun and took a calculated risk, knowing she could lose the 5 million meso for the thrill of it. She acquired 5 of the 30% scrolls, ensuring she had enough attempts to achieve her desired outcome without having to search for more scrolls in case the mask does not get destroyed.

To her surprise, 2 out of 3 scrolls passed, leaving the mask with 2 DEX and 9 Accuracy, with 3 slots remaining.

Enthusiastic about the potential value of the mask, Coorie switched gears and decided to use 60% scrolls to further enhance its stats. Her goal was to achieve 2 DEX and 15 Accuracy by passing all remaining 3 slots. Unfortunately, the first 60% scroll passed, but the second one failed, resulting in a mask with 2 DEX, 11 Accuracy, and 1 slot remaining. Realizing that even passing the last slot with a 60% scroll wouldn't yield significant value, Coorie opted to use a 30% scroll on the final slot.

Although she had no reference for the price of accuracy Raccoon Masks and their demand, she remained optimistic. The scroll passed with a 30% success rate, bringing the White Raccoon Mask to a final state of 3 DEX, 14 Accuracy.

Coorie was unsure of the exact worth of the mask but calculated that if she were to pass 70% scrolls on all 7 slots, achieving a total of 17 Accuracy, the expected production cost would be around 125 million meso.

This estimate accounted for a clean White Raccoon Mask priced at 10 million meso and each 70% scroll at 100k meso. Despite her mask falling slightly short with 16 Accuracy equivalent, the addition of 3 DEX made it valuable for specific warrior builds requiring DEX. However, Coorie understood that the value of an item is not solely determined by its production cost but rather by demand in the market.

After a long day of deal hunting and exhilarating scrolling adventures, Coorie was delighted to receive interest in her earrings later that night. After some negotiation, they settled on a trade of 25 Prestigious Coins in exchange for Coorie's 21 total magic attack Fallen Leaf Earrings. This marked her most significant sales achievement yet!

Coorie opted to sell her coins at 3,333,333 meso each, resulting in a total of 83,333,325 meso before tax. Although it was slightly lower than her initial expectation of 90 million meso, she was still content with the outcome, especially considering the previous 6 million meso earned from one of the failed earrings. The sales of the earrings thus far contributed 11,683,470 meso to the Self-Scrolled Profits Achievement, after deducting the production cost of 70,166,522 meso. It was important to note that Coorie still had a Red Emerald with a 21 total magic attack that had yet to be sold, so the overall profit was yet to be fully accounted for. With excitement building, Coorie eagerly looked forward to the upcoming sale and the potential record-breaking achievement it would bring.

With the earnings from the coins obtained through the earring exchange, Coorie has reached a significant milestone by possessing 100 million meso! The sheer joy and surprise that Coorie experiences cannot be put into words, as this achievement was something she never anticipated to happen so soon. It is a testament to Coorie's ability to seize every little opportunity and learn from those she may have missed. Her keen eye for valuable items and deep insights into the market have played a crucial role in her success. While luck has undoubtedly played a part, it is ultimately Coorie's skill and determination that have propelled her this far.

Day 39 - Breaking Records and Taking a Breather

The remaining 21 total magic attack Red Emerald Earrings have finally been sold! This time, they were sold straight from the store for a staggering 98 million meso! This sale marks the highest achievement in terms of sales and brings in a whopping 95,550,000 meso to the Self-Scrolled Profits Achievement. Together with the sales of the previous earrings from the same scrolling session, totaling 11,683,470 meso, Coorie has achieved a grand total profit of 107,233,470 meso! It's definitely a day worth celebrating!

As Coorie's inventory has been rapidly piling up, she is actively seeking opportunities to clear out her remaining scrolls. When she notices a low supply of Crossbow for Att 30% scrolls in the market, she quickly lists them for 1.2 to 1.4 million meso. These scrolls were acquired at an average price of less than 900k each, making for a small profit when sold.

She employs the same strategy with Staff for Magic Att 30% scrolls, listing them at 1.1 million meso each, which were acquired for less than 400k each before the event. It seems that the prices of these two scrolls increased during the event, making them a worthwhile investment after all.

As for the Claw for Att 60% scrolls, Coorie decides to use them to scroll Maple Claws that she had purchased at a favorable price. The sales of the Maple Claws have not only covered the production cost of all Maple Claws and Claw for Att 60% scrolls but have also generated profits of over 2.5 million meso. However, as the price of Maple Claws decreased due to an influx of supply in the second week of the Anniversary Event, Coorie takes them down from her store to make room for other items.

Coorie still possesses three Maple Claws, consisting of two with a weapon attack of 31 and one with a weapon attack of 33. She anticipates that their value will increase to 12 million meso or more once the event concludes.

Among her purchases, the 9 STR weapon attack 134 Crushed Skull that Coorie acquired for 7.8 million meso turned out to be a disappointment. It struggles to sell even at 20 million meso, and she realizes it was not the treasure she initially thought it to be. It has become a trophy of failure, occupying valuable store space.

Coorie has noticed a growing number of similar Crushed Skulls appearing on the market at lower prices. This further confirms her realization that the item is not as valuable as she initially believed. Coorie faces a dilemma of whether to take it down or keep it listed in hopes of a potential sale. It's a reminder of her misjudgment and a source of shame.

Coorie made the decision to put her remaining incomplete earrings up for sale. These earrings, which are just one slot away from reaching the coveted 21 total magic attack, hold great potential for buyers seeking a decent accessory. The first among them is the Fallen Leaf Earrings, the final piece remaining from her previous scrolling session. Additionally, Coorie crafted the Red Emerald Earrings using leftover scrolls, and they too are now available for purchase. By offering these earrings to the market, Coorie hopes to attract buyers who are eager to complete the scrolls themselves and unlock their full potential.

Coorie has been acquiring inexpensive 2 magic attack Fallen Leaves. However, due to limited storage space, she has chosen not to list them in her store, reserving that space for more valuable items. She contemplates the possibility of embarking on another round of earring scrolling, but only if she can find Earrings for INT scrolls at a reasonable price.

For now, Coorie decides to take a break from deal hunting and focus on clearing her inventory. Although she did come across a clean Brown Work Gloves selling at 42 million meso, she plans to sell it for at least 46 million meso. Thanks to the substantial increase in her bank balance, Coorie now has the opportunity to make a much wider range of investments. Apart from that, there are no other noteworthy deals for the day. This means good news for other deal hunters, as there is one less competitor in the market.

Coorie would like to extend her gratitude to her fellow readers and the friendly community for their continuous support and motivation. If you have any questions regarding her Free Market challenge or anything else, feel free to post a reply or send a private message.

Day 40 - Clearing the Clutter and Hoarding More

Did you really think Coorie would sit idle and let all the good deals slip away? With over 180 million meso at her disposal, she couldn't resist the temptation to continue hunting for bargains. While she had limited store space, Coorie couldn't pass up the opportunity to acquire underpriced Maple equipment with high weapon attacks.

First on her radar was a 3 LUK 35 weapon attack Maple Skanda, unsold at 10 million meso. Coorie had previously sold a similar one with the same stats for 20 million. Even if it doesn't sell for that much now, she's confident it could fetch at least 15 million or more. Worst case scenario, she'll hold onto it until the event ends when prices are likely to increase.

Coorie also stumbled upon a max weapon attack Maple Nishada priced at a mere 5 million meso. Normally, she sees them listed for 20 million, making it an instant pick.

And then there was the max weapon attack Maple Kandiva Bow selling for only 1.5 million meso, an obvious steal.

Another find was the 1 STR 80 weapon attack Maple Asura Dagger priced at 1 million meso. Coorie believes it could fetch at least 6 million meso or, if all else fails, she might try scrolling it since it's priced so low.

In addition to the Maple equipment, Coorie spotted some scrolls worth picking up. Two Topwear for LUK 30% scrolls caught her attention, priced at 1.4 million each. She's confident they could sell for at least 2.5 million each.

She also grabbed a Helmet for INT 70% scroll priced at 2.3 million, expecting to sell it for 3 million. Two Spear for Att 30% scrolls were also added to her haul at 500k each, with a projected sale price of 1 million each.

She couldn't resist buying a couple of Clean Slate Scroll 3% scrolls at 500k each, knowing they could easily be sold for 600k each.

Among the accessories, Coorie came across a Gloves for Att 30% scroll selling for 21 million meso. With the recent price increase, she estimates it could fetch at least 24 million.

She also found an Earring for INT 30% scroll priced at 11 million, slightly lower than the current common price range of 13 to 16 million. Coorie thought she could keep it for her next potential scrolling project, but if she decides against it, she could easily sell it for 12 million.

A clean 3 Accuracy White Raccoon Mask priced at 8 million caught Coorie's eye. It's usually listed for 12 to 15 million, but she plans to sell it quickly at 10 million meso for a quick small profit, so it doesn't occupy store space for too long.

The Dragon Khanjar with its two slots passed with Shield for Weapon Att 60/70% selling at 10 million meso also piqued her interest. Despite the clean weapon attack stat of 15, passing two slots already makes it somewhat tempting. Coorie believes she could potentially complete the scrolling to weapon attack 29 if she's lucky, which would boost its value beyond what she currently estimates at 150 million. Even a weapon attack 27 could likely fetch around 60 million or more. Since Shield for Weapon Att scrolls are currently pricey, she plans to keep the Dragon Khanjar for future scrolling when the scroll prices drop.

Last but not least, Coorie continued her venture into the Purple Adventurer Cape for Prestigious Coins business. She managed to find four capes priced between 8.5 to 9.5 million meso, exchanging them for 3 coins each, yielding a small profit.

Coorie, who typically focused on showcasing high-value items in her store, realized that keeping low-value items for an extended period was becoming counterproductive. Instead of allowing them to occupy valuable store space, she made the decision to clear them out by offering them at lower prices. Her main objective was to convert these items into meso that could be used for further investments, rather than tying up her resources in stagnant inventory.

Coorie listed all the lower-value items in her store briefly at enticing prices and spread the word through a server-wide message (smega) about the clearance sale. To her delight, the sale was a resounding success. Within minutes, 60% of the items in her store were sold, resulting in total sales of over 25 million meso.

Interestingly, some items were priced the same as before the clearance sale, yet players perceived them as better deals due to the clearance event. Nonetheless, all of these items brought positive profits since they were acquired at lower prices. Coorie was thrilled to finally part ways with some long-standing items, such as the scrolled 3 INT Raccoon Mask that sold for 5 million meso, the 79 weapon attack Maple Asura Dagger that was acquired for 2.4 million and sold for 5 million, the Smiling Mask bought at 500k and sold for 1 million, the Yellow Strap Shoes bought at 300k and sold for 2 million, and the 4 INT Goldensoul Cape, an item she had acquired early at 100k on when her bank was still under 2 million meso. She was relieved to sell it for 500k.

The sale of the Elemental Wand 1, Raccoon Mask, and Red Emerald Earrings contributed a total of 11,340,287 meso to the Self-Scroll Profits Achievement. The Red Emerald Earrings, being part of the earrings scrolling project, contributes to the overall profit, bringing the highest profit achievement to a staggering 112,108,470 meso.

Coorie also sold a green mitten that was initially obtained as a supportive gesture from a friendly player for just 1 meso. At the time, she didn't want too much of an initial boost, but now that she had surpassed 100 million meso, selling the mittens wouldn't make much of an impact.

Although Coorie successfully cleared out a significant portion of her low-value items, she still had plenty of higher-value items in her inventory. Selectively choosing to hold onto most of the Maple equipment, she hoped that their value would increase after the Anniversary Event. With the clearance sale concluded, Coorie took the time to reorganize her store before calling it a day.

Day 41 - Shame to Gain and Scrolling Preparations

Finally bidding farewell to her trophy of shame, Coorie managed to sell it for a modest 18 million meso. Despite the fact that it could have potentially fetched a higher price, she was relieved to see it go and no longer wanted to hold onto it. Regardless, it still resulted in a profit of approximately 10 million meso.

Additionally, Coorie successfully sold her Poison Mushroom, which she had acquired for 500k.

With interests emerging for her 17 total magic attack Yellow Work Gloves, Coorie decided to sell them to the highest bidder within the next 24 hours. Anticipating a substantial influx of meso, she began preparing for her next project.

She made the decision to keep all the clean 2 magic attack Fallen Leaf Earrings she had accumulated during her hunt, eagerly awaiting her next scrolling endeavor with the goal of reaching 22 total magic attack. She also held onto a couple of 2 INT Red Emerald Earrings, acquired for 2 to 2.5 million each, hoping their value would surpass 4 million after the event. If not, Coorie contemplated scrolling them. For now, her focus was on the 16 clean 2 magic attack Fallen Leaf Earrings she had gathered.

Coorie's top priority for the day was to find more Earrings for INT 70% scrolls. Surprisingly, even when she wasn't actively seeking deals, they seemed to find her. She stumbled upon a 2 million clean White Raccoon Mask, unsold but expected to fetch 8 million quickly.

Additionally, she acquired two 2 INT Red Markers priced at 2 to 3 million each, hopeful that their value would increase to over 5 million after the event. If not, they might become her next magic attack gloves scrolling project.

Alongside the 2.5 million 2 INT Red Marker, Coorie stumbled upon a 2 INT Yellow Work Gloves, which is typically priced at a minimum of 7 million meso. It was an obvious bargain that she couldn't resist.

She also encountered a 3 INT Red Marker priced at 500k, albeit with only 3 slots remaining. Coorie believed it still held potential, as 3 INT was equivalent to passing +1 with a 60%/70% scroll on a 1 INT glove. If it passed a 10% on the next 2 slots, it could reach 6 INT and 3 magic attack, and potentially even 9 INT and 6 magic attack.

Coorie stumbled upon two more 3 INT Red Markers priced at 7 million and 7.3 million, realizing that what she thought was a bargain at 6.7 million was now becoming more common. Nonetheless, she deemed it a good investment and decided to acquire them.

In her search, Coorie also chanced upon a clean 3 INT Red Emerald priced at a mere 1 million meso. She couldn't capture a screenshot in time as she panicked and quickly snatched it before someone else could, securing it along with a 2 INT Red Marker from the same shop.

Although she was no longer actively seeking 1 magic attack Fallen Leaf Earrings, if she came across any selling close to 500k or below, she would still consider acquiring them, as she believed they held value for potential DEX scrolling.

Unfortunately, acquiring the Earrings for INT 70% scrolls proved to be much more challenging compared to the 60% scrolls, with Coorie occasionally finding some priced below 1 million meso. However, her search for 30% scrolls at a reasonable price was met with difficulty. She managed to acquire one for 11 million meso, but her search for more remained fruitless.

However, during her search, she did come across some Face Accessory for Avoidability 70% scrolls selling at 2.3 to 3.1 million meso. Observing that they were commonly listed for 4 to 5 million meso, she decided to purchase them and list them at 3.5 million meso, hoping to earn a small profit.

HOPEfully to conclude the day on a positive note, Coorie decided to open a Mysterious Coin Pouch 2, HOPE-ing for a pleasant surprise as she (un)wrapped up her activities(pouch).

Day 42 - Rekindling the Dance of Failure and Success

Coorie had diligently prepared a reasonable number of scrolls to begin the process of scrolling her 16 clean 2 magic attack Fallen Leaf Earrings. Her plan was to use Earring for INT 60% scrolls on the first slot, followed by Earring for INT 70% scrolls on the next three slots, and finally, finish off the last slot with a 30% scroll.

Coorie also acquired a Gloves for Magic Att 30% scroll for 9.5 million meso, which she eagerly plans to utilize on her remaining Yellow Work Gloves from the previous scroll session.

Cutting to the chase, she managed to successfully scrolled four +4 Fallen Leaf Earrings, with only one slot remaining to use the 30% scroll on. If you're curious about the math, the expected success rate was about 3.29 out of 16, which turned out to be quite close.

Currently, Coorie only possessed 2 Earring for INT 30% scrolls, which she had obtained at 11 million meso each. She decided to observe the results of these two scrolls before deciding whether to purchase more for the remaining earrings.

To kick off the "good luck" ritual, she decided to scroll her last remaining 5 INT 4 magic attack Yellow Work Gloves with 1 slot left using a Gloves for Magic Att 30% scroll.

Ah, yes! Of course, she completely obliterated the gloves. It seemed to be part of the ritual, almost expected at this point. This added to the production cost of the Yellow Work Gloves scrolling session.

Feeling rather disappointed, Coorie proceeded to scroll her remaining two Earring for INT 30% scrolls, hoping for better results. However, both attempts ended in failure. At this point, she had already invested over 77 million meso in the earrings. It seemed eerily familiar.

Undeterred, she scoured the market for the two cheapest 30% scrolls, which were priced at around 12 million each, bringing the total production cost to over 101 million meso.

And then, it happened again! Just like the previous earrings scrolling session, the next two 30% scrolls passed successfully, defying the odds, resulting in two 22 total magic attack Fallen Leaf Earrings.

One of them even had purple text, possibly adding a little more value to it. Previously, she had sold a 21 total magic attack Fallen Leaf Earrings for approximately 85 million meso, exchanging it for a sum of 25 Prestigious Coins. This time, she anticipated these new earrings to sell for at least 100 million each. In the end, this scrolling endeavor proved to be a win for Coorie, with an expected profit of about 80 to 100 million meso, which is quite decent.

For now, she planned to only put one of them up for sale at 120 million meso to create a sense of scarcity. For our devoted journal followers intrigued by the allure of the purple texted Fallen Leaf Earrings, Coorie extends a generous offer to sell them at a fair price, should you express genuine interest.

Day 43 - Revealing the Hidden Profits

Day 43 marked a significant milestone for Coorie as she achieved her biggest sale to date. The 17 total magic attack item fetched an impressive 173 million meso, concluding her magic attack gloves scrolling project on a high note. Although some gloves were either destroyed or deemed less valuable, the overall profit amounted to an astounding 71,374,867 meso. This accomplishment also contributed to Coorie's Self-Scrolled Profits Achievement, adding to her sense of achievement and progress.

Alongside the monumental sale, Coorie had an additional cause for celebration. The White Raccoon Mask, which she acquired for a mere 2 million meso, fetched a generous 8 million meso upon its sale, propelling her total funds beyond the quarter-billion mark.

This new milestone solidified Coorie's position as a formidable entrepreneur in the market.

As her success grew, it inevitably attracted attention, and others sought to emulate her strategies and gain their share of the profits. However, it seemed that one individual had misunderstood Coorie's goals and was heading in a different direction.

Coorie remained grateful for the unwavering support from the community. Even though they recognized the favorable prices at which Coorie obtained her items, they continued to show enthusiasm and interest in purchasing from her. The steady stream of sales from her shop was a testament to the trust and confidence placed in her.

With substantial deals closed and items sold, Coorie decided to embark on some casual deal hunting. She stumbled upon two Maple Capes selling at 1.2 million meso each, knowing that they commonly fetched prices above 4 million meso. Coorie contemplated selling them at 3 million meso for a quick profit if the opportunity arose.

During her deal hunting expedition, Coorie encountered an influx of Brown Work Gloves selling at 42 million meso, frustrating her as she had recently purchased one at the same price, considering it a good deal. With the market now flooded with these gloves, she contemplated whether to sell them at a loss and reinvest the meso into other ventures.

Coorie's ongoing pursuit of Earrings for INT 70% and Gloves for Magic Att 70% scrolls led her to seek out affordable options priced below 1 million meso. However, she faced a challenge as the supply of 1 INT Yellow Work Gloves had drastically decreased. The 2 INT variant proved too risky due to their high cost. After careful consideration, Coorie calculated that the added benefit of 1 extra INT did not outweigh the expected production cost for a 16 total magic attack with 2 INT Yellow Work Gloves.

Coorie stumbled upon a 1 million meso Gloves for Magic Att 10% scroll, which she usually would have sold for a small profit. However, this time she had a different plan in mind. She decided to use it on her 3 slots 3 INT Red Marker, previously acquired at 500k meso.

To her delight, the scroll successfully passed, enhancing the Red Marker to 6 INT and 3 magic attack, with 2 slots remaining. This meant she had two potential attempts with 30% scrolls, provided the item didn't get destroyed on the first try, for a chance at 15 total magic attack gloves. Coorie couldn't help but feel excited and hopeful, as this could potentially become another 17 total magic attack gloves.

However, the gloves unfortunately got obliterated on the first 30% attempt.

During her adventures, Coorie came across a Blue Scarab with 7 LUK and 53 weapon attack priced at 6 million meso. Intrigued by its potential value, she promptly added it to her inventory, envisioning a price range of 10 to 15 million meso.

Coorie had a knack for turning trash into treasure, as demonstrated with her previous successes with Elemental Wands 1 to 4 and Raccoon Masks. She saw potential in a 145 total magic attack Elemental Wand 5, despite failing 2 slots, and purchased it for 888k meso.

Coorie managed to pass 3 slots using 60% scrolls, elevating the wand to 154 total magic attack. With 2 slots remaining, there was a chance of passing two 30% scrolls in a row, potentially resulting in 170 total magic attack. This increase in value could reach 100 million meso or even more. Although the odds were slim, the opportunity to turn 11 million meso into 100 million was too tempting for Coorie to resist.

Applying the same principle, Coorie spotted a 2 LUK 32 weapon attack Maple Skanda priced at 3.3 million meso.

While not the best deal, she recognized the potential of turning it into a 50 weapon attack Maple Skanda by passing 4 out of 5 slots, bringing it up to 40 weapon attack. With 2 slots remaining to pass with 30% scrolls, the value could potentially reach 150 million meso or more. Again, the chance was slim, but Coorie saw it as a 9% probability of turning 18 million meso into 150 million meso, a risk worth taking.

In her quest for bargains, Coorie found a Mysterious Coin Pouch 2 selling below its average price by 2 million meso. With a chance of obtaining 4 to 8 coins, opening a pouch with 5 coins became a more viable option, considering the reduced loss to about 1.4 million meso. With only 4 coins being the worst outcome, there was an 80% chance of either losing 1.4 million or gaining up to 8.8 million meso, making it a favorable gamble.

As the day drew to a close, Coorie concluded several more sales, maintaining a healthy balance of over 270 million meso. Further contributing to her Self-Scroll Profits Achievement, Coorie sold an Elemental Wand 3 and 14 total magic attack Fallen Leaf Earrings, adding 4,450,000 meso to her Self-Scrolled Profits Achievement. The day was filled with new scrolls, potential treasures, and calculated risks, further fueling Coorie's entrepreneurial spirit and determination to continue her journey in the market.

Day 44 - Leapfrogging with Unexpected Surprises

Coorie woke up to a delightful surprise on this day. The 3 DEX 14 Accuracy White Raccoon Mask, which Coorie had acquired for 5 million meso with 6 slots remaining and scrolled, sold for a staggering 120 million meso!

It was an incredible return on investment, especially when considering that even if Coorie had scrolled the White Raccoon Mask for 6 INT at the best scenario, the potential profit would have been around 25 million meso. Coorie made the wise decision to focus on Accuracy scrolling, which proved to be a profitable choice.

The White Raccoon Mask, with a profit of 111,220,000 meso, nearly matches the current highest profit of 112,108,470 meso, falling just short by 900k. This achievement is truly incredible. Moreover, it contributes the highest amount to the Self-Scrolled Profits Achievement thus far, which is quite astonishing.

Note: If you're curious about that dark scroll, it is a 2H Sword for Att 30% scroll that Coorie bought for 400k and sold for 1.7 million meso.

In another strategic move, Coorie decided to sell her Brown Work Gloves at a slight loss of approximately 1 million meso due to tax. Despite this, she remained unfazed, realizing that having 40 million meso in hand would open up more opportunities compared to holding onto the gloves for potentially smaller profits in the future. Flexibility and seizing new prospects became a priority.

Continuing her keen eye for deals, Coorie stumbled upon a Maple Skanda with 2 LUK and 35 weapon attack priced at 5 million meso. Typically, such a weapon would be listed for 15 to 20 million meso. Coorie placed it in her store for 16 million meso due to the lower LUK stat. If it doesn't sell, she plans to scroll it for 50 weapon attack, as the investment risk is minimal with the relatively good price she obtained.

Coorie had an opportunity to purchase several clean 2 INT Red Emerald Earrings from another player. Coorie offered 2.5 million meso for each earring, and the offer was gladly accepted. The trade was successfully completed, adding these earrings to Coorie's inventory.

In addition, Coorie stumbled upon a few cheap 1 INT Yellow Work Gloves and 1 INT Red Markers. Due to the current scarcity of Yellow Work Gloves in the market, Coorie contemplated using the Red Markers for her next project instead. Although the value would be lower compared to the Yellow Work Gloves, there was a demand for gloves with 15 to 18 total magic attack, and Coorie didn't want to miss out on this opportunity.

As if the day couldn't get any better, shortly after the noon, Coorie received yet another unexpected windfall. Her 22 total magic attack Fallen Leaf Earrings sold for a remarkable 120 million meso as well! This sale propelled her wealth beyond the 500 million meso mark, reaching the next milestone in her journey. The consecutive milestones achieved within such a short time were cause for celebration and reflection.

The sale of the Fallen Leaf Earrings not only covered the production cost of 101,083,924 meso but also yielded a profit of 15,916,076 meso. It's worth mentioning that Coorie still has another 22 total magic attack Fallen Leaf Earrings from the same scrolling session, presenting an opportunity for further profit.

Coorie made a strategic decision not to remove the sold earring listing right away. Instead, she wanted to showcase the success and highlight the fact that players were willing to pay a good price for them. By leaving the listing visible, she aimed to create a sense of curiosity and intrigue among passersby. Coorie believed that this display of previous sales could potentially drive future earring sales as players would fear missing out on another reasonably priced pair. It was a clever tactic to generate interest and create a buzz around her shop, increasing the chances of future successful transactions.

With a sense of anticipation, Coorie acknowledged that the subsequent days might be slower, as her inventory of high-value items dwindled. She still possessed another pair of 22 total magic attack Fallen Leaf Earrings but was cautious about flooding the market and potentially decreasing their value. Observing market movements became crucial before deciding when to put them up for sale.

Meanwhile, Coorie found herself with a substantial amount of meso to work with, ready to seize any good deals and embark on another scrolling project if the market conditions allowed. However, she reminded herself of the importance of prudence and restraint. Just because her bank account was filled with meso didn't grant her permission to be reckless. Taking calculated risks and repeating her success a few more times while maintaining caution would inch her closer to her ultimate goal of amassing 2 billion meso.

The journey continued, and Coorie approached each day with renewed determination and a steadfast focus on her financial aspirations.

Big gains! I've always avoided participating in the market as much as possible but reading how you approach it is very interesting. Good luck with your business ^^

Thanks! For me, I avoid participating in boss expetitions, PQs or buying/selling leech. Mostly alone exploring maps, grinding, farming and sometimes quests.

The old-school maplestory free market has always been one of my favorite aspects of the game. Back then in late 2018 when I started playing ML, I’d spend at least 50% of the time in FM merching.

Day 45 - A Fortuitously Familiar Feast of Bargains

Coorie couldn't have anticipated the rapid progress she has made since embarking on the Free Market Challenge. Initially expecting to provide updates on a biweekly basis, she finds herself striking lucrative deals every single day. Coorie attributes this unexpected success to the Anniversary Event Raffle, which rewards the players with Rare Gachapons, resulting in a surge of item and scroll supplies.

During the first week, Coorie capitalized on Maple equipment to secure substantial profits. However, the value of Maple Claw has plummeted from over 10 million meso to even less than 1 million meso by the end of the second week. On the other hand, Maple Skanda has maintained its value and remains a reliable investment option, especially with players striving for high weapon attack Maple Skandas.

Recently, Coorie came across Overall Armor for INT 70% scrolls priced between 1.2 to 1.3 million meso. After successfully selling a few of these scrolls for 1.6 to 1.8 million meso, Coorie recognizes the potential in acquiring more and even considers crafting an INT bathrobe if the prices remain favorable.

However, Coorie's plan for another magic attack gloves scrolling project faces a challenge. Gloves for Magic Att 70% scrolls are currently limited in supply and expensive, with listings ranging near 2 million meso and above. It is a notable contrast to her previous project, where she acquired them for 1.2 to 1.4 million meso each. Additionally, finding reasonably priced 1 INT Yellow Work Gloves continues to be a rare occurrence, but Coorie lucked out and managed to secure a few pieces at 500k each.

As Coorie explores the market further, she comes across a store offering a Shield for Weapon Att 70% scroll at a reasonable price of 2.5 million meso.

Considering its potential use on the incomplete +2 19 weapon attack Dragon Khanjar she acquired earlier, Coorie contemplates investing in this scroll. However, if news regarding the Dragon Khanjar remains elusive in the future, it's likely that it met an unfortunate fate during the scrolling process.

Not stopping there, Coorie discovers a pair of 2 INT Yellow Work Gloves priced at 1.7 million meso. While their value has recently dropped to 6 million meso, Coorie anticipates a price increase following the conclusion of the Anniversary Event.

In addition to these findings, Coorie stumbles upon a collection of scrolls offered at prices significantly below market value. This treasure trove of opportunities sparks Coorie's interest, and she swiftly purchases some of them, aiming for a quick profit.

Among the scrolls, there's also a tempting 1.5 million meso Face Accessory for Avoidability 70% scroll, which Coorie successfully sells for 3 million meso.

There is also a clean 6 LUK 51 weapon attack Red Craven, just 1 LUK shy of perfection, caught Coorie's attention with a price tag of 5 million meso. Recognizing its potential value, she decided to make the purchase.

Later on, she quickly sold it for a satisfying amount of 9 million meso.

Finally, to top off the day, Coorie stumbled upon some exciting finds. She came across a Gloves for Magic Att 30% scroll priced at a relatively good price of 6.6 million meso.

Additionally, she discovered two Earrings for INT 10% at 1 million and 700k respectively, which she decided to keep for her next INT earrings scrolling project, provided she can acquire enough Earrings for INT 70% scrolls and the earrings themselves.

While Coorie felt the itch to start scrolling some magic attack gloves, she recognized the importance of patience. She understood the need to wait for the price and supply of scrolls to become more favorable once again. Rushing into a purchase could potentially lead to overspending, and she wanted to ensure she made wise and cost-effective decisions.

Day 46 - Eagerly Awaiting and Surprising Last-Minute Sale

Coorie embarked on another day filled with aspirations and opportunities in the Free Market Challenge. While her plans for a new magic attack gloves scrolling project had to be put on hold due to unfavorable market conditions, she found herself collecting a substantial number of materials for an INT earrings scrolling venture.

The clean 2 INT Red Emerald Earrings, totaling 17 in quantity and obtained at favorable prices ranging from 2 to 2.5 million meso each, were the perfect candidates for her scrolling endeavor.

Rather than waiting for their prices to rise before selling them, Coorie saw the potential for greater value by utilizing them in her scrolling project. She had managed to procure a sufficient number of Earring for INT 70% scrolls, amassing a total of 31 scrolls, all acquired for 1 million meso or less. Additionally, she obtained 17 60% scrolls, one for each earring's first slot, followed by 3 slots of 70% scrolls. Finally, she will complete the last slot with a 30% scroll, resulting in the creation of 22 total magic attack Red Emerald Earrings if it passes.

In her pursuit to bolster the limited supply of 1 INT Yellow Work Gloves, Coorie made a decision to gather 1 INT Red Markers priced at 1 million or less. This strategic move aimed to address the scarcity of these items in the market. Along the way, she stumbled upon a few inexpensive 2 INT Red Markers, which she promptly added to her inventory. The thought of potentially scrolling these 2 INT Red Markers crossed her mind, envisioning the possibility of acquiring them in bulk at a favorable price point of 3 million meso or lower.

These 2 INT Red Markers possess the potential to be transformed into gloves with a remarkable total magic attack of 16. If all goes well, their estimated value could reach a staggering 130 million meso or even more. Coorie sees this opportunity as an enticing prospect for a significant return on investment.

While browsing the stores in the free market, Coorie stumbled upon a peculiarly familiar scrolled Blue Scarab priced at 6 million meso. It struck a chord with her, as she had previously acquired a similar item with hopes of selling it for double its listing price. However, it seemed that her initial assessment might not hold true this time.

"Intrigued by its potential value, she promptly added it to her inventory, envisioning a price range of 10 to 15 million meso."

    ANYWAY...

In her exploration, she also came across a 5 INT 5 magic attack Red Emerald Earrings priced at 5.5 million meso. Although it only had 3 slots remaining, Coorie saw the potential for it to reach 24 total magic attack. With high hopes, Coorie made the decision to purchase and scroll the next slot using a 70% scroll. Much to her delight, the scroll passed.

However, her optimism was short-lived as she faced disappointment when attempting to upgrade the next slot with a 30% scroll. The outcome was unfavorable, resulting in a final stat distribution of 6 INT and 7 magic attack. Though not the desired outcome, Coorie remains determined and open to future opportunities for improving the earrings. While there was still potential to reach 21 total magic attack with 1 slot remaining, Coorie decided to leave it untouched for the time being.

Having invested over 72 million meso in 2 INT Red Emerald Earrings, 60%/70% scrolls, and other resources, it was time to create those +4 earrings once again. The expected success rate was around 3.5 out of 17 attempts. To her pleasant surprise, she managed to create 5 successful earrings, surpassing her expectations. With a good chance of obtaining at least one 30% scroll pass from the 5 attempts, Coorie felt a sense of satisfaction.

Additionally, she had 2 earrings that failed on the 4th slot, but she utilized the remaining 70% scrolls to complete the last slot successfully, resulting in two 14 total magic attack Red Emerald Earrings. These could potentially sell for around 8 to 10 million meso, helping to recoup some of her production costs.

As the day neared its end, an announcement of a short server maintenance caught Coorie's attention. She contemplated selling her coveted purple-text 22 total magic attack Fallen Leaf Earring, deciding to forgo the premium price and instead offer it to players before the maintenance began. With just 20 minutes remaining, she took to smega and advertised her Fallen Leaf Earrings at an enticing price of 111 million meso, allowing interested players to make a quick purchase in the limited negotiation time.

True enough, an eager buyer appeared, and after swift negotiations, they settled on a price of 105 million meso, just two minutes before the server temporarily went offline. With the successful sale of this Fallen Leaf Earrings, which yielded a profit of 102,375,000 meso, and adding to the Self-Scrolled Profits Achievement, Coorie's profits continue to soar. Combined with the earlier profit of 15,916,076 meso after deducting the production cost, the total now amounts to a staggering 118,291,076 meso. This remarkable achievement surpasses the previous record of 112,108,470 meso, solidifying Coorie's position as a successful entrepreneur in the Free Market Challenge.

Coorie's next move involves patiently waiting for an Earring for INT 30% scroll that is reasonably priced at 11 million meso or below. She contemplates the upcoming endeavor of scrolling her earrings, but a sense of worry starts to creep in. After experiencing a string of positive luck thus far, she can't help but wonder if she might encounter a potential bad luck streak. Nevertheless, Coorie remains hopeful and determined to navigate the unpredictable nature of the Free Market Challenge.
