Many of the older video tutorials are no longer available, so I wanted to put this into writing.

    How to get to Windraiders?

There are two ways to get to Windraiders:
    1. Walk to Windraiders (here's a map).
    2. Teleport to Courtyard, and walk backwards.
I've found that the second option is faster, and safer.

While you can't teleport or dimension door to Lower Ascent directly, you can teleport to Courtyard, and walk backwards to the Lower Ascent. (thanks AbrasionAbrasion)

    The Steps

1.) Find someone at the Courtyard map that you can use a teleport rock to get to. You can use a VIP Teleport Rock from anywhere, or a standard Teleport Rock if you're in NLC. This map is the entrance to CWKPQ, so if you see anyone recruiting for it, or selling Mark of Naricain (MoN), folks are often nice enough to let you teleport to them.

2.) Save the Courtyard map in your teleport rock in the case you need to get back here (tip from faelfael). Take the portal on the left.

3.) Crimsonwood Mountain: Crimsonwood Keep - DON'T JUMP DOWN. The Crimson Guardians can mess you up. Change channels or enter/exit the FM, to reload at the bottom of the map. Now walk through the gate at the bottom to get to the next map. (tip from @NoMoneyToEat)

4.) Crimsonwood Mountain: Upper Ascent - Avoid the monsters, and fall off the bottom of this map. You'll be teleported to the Lower Ascent. Tip: If you change channel on this map, you'll reload in the center of the map , making it easier to drop off the bottom. Be prepared to take a hit or two from monsters on this map as they can be difficult to entirely avoid. (tip from ScarletMoonScarletMoon)

5.) Crimsonwood Mountain: Lower Ascent - Tada! You made it. Simply change channel, and you'll reload at the bottom of the map. You'll be safe on the rope at the very bottom of the map (tip from slyd0gslyd0g).

    Fall off the map?

If you fall off the map, you can either do the Jump Quest, or use a Return to Town scroll to get to the Haunted House, talk to the car to get to NLC, and from there use a teleport rock to repeat the above instructions.
