Leisure Journey of Refinements

Hi, I'm back with another journal. This time, instead of focusing on a short-term goal, I've included a mix of both short and long-term objectives. I briefly considered pursuing the path of degeneracy, leveraging on what I have, including two Bishops, one I/L Arch Mage, and one F/P Arch Mage.

However, I've come to realise that I don't enjoy that style of gameplay despite its efficiency. Therefore, I've decided to continue playing casually, at my own pace, and I'll loosely document my Shadower's journey over an extended period of time.


Stats



In case you weren't aware, I have what some might consider an unusual and unconventional goal of maintaining a base stats of 4 STR and 25 DEX for my Shadower.

I exclusively rely on the stats from my equipment to wear all items, without any event items. While this approach may not be the most cost-effective or damage-optimised, it brings me immense satisfaction to achieve it.

I recently purchased the shoes, and it put a dent on my meso reserves. I want to replenish my funds again for the same purpose – the ability to acquire the items I desire when they become available.

I've estimated that I would get a yellow line approximately every 250 common gachapons. With this in mind, I've made the decision to refrain from pulling until I've accumulated 250 of them.

I'm working towards collecting 1,000 Prestigious Coins, as I believe this amount might provide me with an opportunity to upgrade my dagger to a 131+ Weapon ATT.

Right now, I'm at 151 DEX without a cape and gloves.

While I can currently equip a NT dagger with the additional 5 DEX from gloves, I want to explore the possibility of doing so without relying on them. I'm considering adding +1 DEX from each of the following equipment pieces: face, earrings, hat, and top. However, it's worth noting that this isn't a top priority for me at the moment.

I've also made the decision to create a pair of thief gloves with 12 Weapon ATT and 5 DEX. This will allow me to explore options like a Reverse/Timeless dagger.

Upgrading to a Dragon Khanjar with 32 Weapon ATT would be nice.

Farming Spots (/hour)

Here are the maps I've explored and farmed extensively in the journal. My preferred farming locations have always been maps that provide reliable earnings over RNG. Nightghost map has a higher earning deviation due to heavy reliance on scroll drops and exchange, thus not included.

High RNG maps are usually not suitable for short sessions. If you are like me, with limited playtime or only short sessions of play in between days, and still want to earn a decent amount, these maps are suitable as they almost guarantee some amount of earnings proportional to the time invested.

Items that drop within minutes are considered common drops, and scrolls that typically drop within an hour of farm, I would consider them as common drops as well. The high value drop relies more heavily on RNG and is not included in the expected earnings.

If you have a similar characters setup to mine, with a full map attack(FMA) character plus another actively attacking character, you should be able to achieve similar results.​

My immediate plan is to reach lv160 and replenish my meso reserves back to 2 bil.



Sold my 19 DEX Green Pirate Skirt and got a decent amount. With that, I now have 1.6 bil meso in the reserves.

I experimented with grinding at 7F, but I found it frustrating due to the challenging process of looting meso from the platforms.



As a result, I decided to return to Skele leeching, as it offers a more balanced combination of meso and exp.



While I didn't keep precise records of my hourly earnings, I can estimate that it's roughly 4 mil of raw meso with MU buff, and 2-4 mil meso from NPC-ing drops. Additionally, there are Dragon Scales and Dragon Spirits, which should yield around 2 mil meso. Without considering gacha pulls, it provides a consistent earning of ~9mil/hr.

I "overheard" some player saying they could deal 120k-150k per Assassinate cast. I'm not sure if they meant a charged Assassinate, per line, or total damage. Am pretty envious and thought I probably wouldn't be able to do anything close to that since we have a 19-level gap and I still have 156 AP in INT.

Wouldn't hurt to check how far I am away...



yEAhhh..., anyway, I'll probably stick to Skele for a while for the consistency, and since I won't be pulling gachas for a while, Skele provides a stable flow of income.

 

The last image? Those were charged Assassinate.



Can hit up to max damage of 199,999 sometimes.

If that's the case, I also captured one of my regular non-charged attacks.



Now I'm not sure if it includes the 5th attack.

 

Thanks! I think I'll be sticking with Shadower for a long time. After trying a few other classes, it's still the most fun for me.

 

I've attempted to come up with a theoretically feasible allocation, and the best compromise I can find without putting too big of a hole in the pocket is 110-115 STR with a base of 4.

It's actually more challenging than Shadower, even though only the weapon requires STR.

 

Huge spending spree today that almost depleted my reserves.



Purchased a 14 DEX Element Pierce that came with a little bonus of 1 LUK for 700 mil meso. Felt that it's a good deal for a 15-stats earrings, which I'd expect to go for at least 1 bil meso.



Additionally, bought a 9 DEX Sad Mask for another 700 mil meso. It might be a bit more than it's worth, but the nice triple 9s make up for it.



With these purchases, I'm now down to about 226 mil meso.

I wanted to transfer this meso to my Bishop without incurring taxes, so what better way other than to gamble on scrolls.



Got really lucky and managed to scroll a 21 INT Bathrobe(F) with around 52 mil meso. This should fetch around 150-170mil meso.



With about 174 mil remaining, I was looking for other ways to transfer the meso but decided to convert them into Prestigious Coins instead when I stumbled upon this store.





Bought and opened 14x Pouch 1 and 4x Pouch 2, resulting in a total of 59 Prestigious Coins.



Update on character stats:



Replenishing my meso back to 2 bil is gona take some time, although I still have my old equipment not yet sold.

 

Did some leech/grind/farm at Skele, and here are the earnings from the last hour, along with a brief wealth update.

I've also been preparing 6 Weapon Att, 2-slots Blue Anelins for a 2x30% scroll attempt to reach 12 Weapon Att. Passing the 3x60% scroll stage is quite challenging, with approximately a 21.6% success rate, or about 1 in 4-5 attempts.

Hope I don't end up spending too much on these gloves.

Initially, I thought I was done with the Green Pirate Blouse and Skirt, but it appears they are back on the menu. I can get the remaining 2 DEX (to reach 155/160) with a 12/5/2 Blouse and 0/19/2 Skirt. Each would need 1x30% and 6x70% scroll passes.

Expect another visit to Dual Ghost Pirates in the near future.

You are asking someone who spent hundreds mil of meso trying to scroll Green Pirate Blouses for STR, whether it’s worth? Hell yeah!

 

One of the happiest players I saw was a STR Mage who scrolled their PQ gloves with GFA30/70 into a 14wa. I used to think what a dumbass but now I’m becoming the dumbass, maybe just a fraction of it.

I didn’t mean it to be a dumb dumb but more of a makes no sense kinda thing.

While people may question my choices in ML, rest assured that these decisions aren't ones I'd make in scenarios with real-life consequences. This is an environment where I can be happy making stupid choices.
