2024 tier list?

Sarcasm aside their QoL is shit so personally would never recommend them, although on paper I think they are the highest dpm class with se+si but whether or not that dpm gets put down in content I cant say.

They are a very good class, but the QoL I cant justify personally.

 

No sarcasm intended. The way I see it, the reason QoL matters is so we can farm more, so we can make more money, so we can do more damage, so we can farm more, so we can make more money, so we can do more damage ... With this perspective, NL is mainly a boss farming mule. When it ultimately comes to putting out the biggest DPM, I'm convinced Corsair is king

But also imo Sair QoL is pretty good, at the very least it has range and mobility. While it lacks avoid and has a lot of buttons, the class rewards active gameplay with bonus damage, rather than punishing afk gameplay by taking away what little dmg there was to begin with (*cough* DK).

 

I know there was the bird gen patch, and that spencil2 is an exceptional player, but looking at his journal, corsair seems cool to me as a farm

 

We're entering the era of multi-attackers and that's where corsairs shine the least. For roughly the same level of effort, a person can play 2 Night Lords at once and out-DPM any equally funded sair. They stopped filling their niche as a technical tryhard class for dpm, anyone who wants to make a sair for that technical aspect should just make Night Lords instead and learn how to play both at once in bosses. Doing so also opens you up to 2 efficient Pink Beans a week instead of the higher-man PB runs sairs generally find themselves in.

I'd probably call them C-tier. They have very little to offer other than dummy DPM, and even then they can't beat Arch Mages and DKs/Heroes on those :^)

I asked this in the discord and had a single response, but wanted to know what others think.

Currently, I have 4 accounts (Hero, Bucc, DK, and F/P) that should have enough NX to wash them in the future for ~30k HP/MP. Of the ones I have, which is needed the most or sought after?

 

Bucc is probably your best option out of those

 

Bucc it is then! That account is currently at 2.76M NX so not too much longer before I have enough for 30k HP which is good. Time to find a good guide and work on that then. Thanks

 

I'd agree to the above sentiment, of Hero, Bucc, DK, and F/P, I'd say Bucc is in the most sought after in parties. Each have their own niche, but Bucc's are in a really good place for general viability.

And 3m NX is more than enough to get a Bucc to 30k! Hit me up if you want resources.
