In fact, let's square away with people having to roll for numbers to split the coins.
why not set up a message prompt upon double clicking the pouch
that asks you if you'd like to open the pouch with party members:
it lists all names of the party members

Except it doesn't because everybody's losing value at every level of transaction when you make things less transferrable. Look at ws/cs earned from gacha/event. They're being taxed on average 10% from pouch conversion or 7% through services.

IMO this thread has become obsolete, as the anticipated issues of coin hoarding failed to materialize even two years later, and mesos managed to maintain a decent relative value. I don't think people are having issues on not having enough coins available on the market either.

 

but it was the way that the staff gave the bosses to be more profitable (mainly for casual single player) if anything changed in this sense of rate it would have to change how the coins were seen in the runs, first mainly in terms of encouraging those who recruit.

Okay, as you said, taxes help to drain mesos. You dont think thats important?
We always had apples or even scrolls to use for payment but they just were not used back then, I dont know exactly why. Maybe because of the amount available/needed.

 

When I applied for BT as meso consultant I was going to propose an idea which ideally would solve Prestigious Coins taxation.

This would have saved the state of economic inflation by putting more tax on all coin-currency transactions while also balancing the amount of supply by creating a newer style of coin.

Too bad it'll never happen.

If mesos were the only currency of trade, I'm sure people would aggressively farm for it. P-coins takes some attention away from that.

 

until max cash stack gets massively increased, substitute items will always be used. any tax avoidance is a by-product of that

On a side note, there is literally nothing wrong with hoarding, be it pcoins, scrolls, or valuable items. I'd sooner NPC all my items than be forced to sell it due to some expiration clause
