Full [Beaters] 2021 Recap!

Since last year's recap post, Beaters has gained a lot of guildies and friendlies in 2021. We've also seen our fair share of ~drama~ but that's okay, because that's just how things go sometimes.

That said, 2021 was a lot of fun and I wanted to put all the memories in one place! Here are some highlights:

• A lot of Beaters hit level 200 (including now ex-Beaters): BeaSee, CelosPunch, dragonqla, Jake, Kiaraaa, lndra, Macbeth, martyballer, MattNL, Mulester, Naosu, NoMilk, PepegaHero, Radiologist, TaxDog, Vertical, VVizard, xJums, xSinon, Xyrinz, Zoni

• Our juniors hosted super fun guild events with prizes totaling over 1B mesos

  The last guild event of the year included a competition for the best Beaters-themed Christmas song, and the winner was this:
  Dashing through FM, with AFKers in the way
  Most of them are Beaters, sitting there all day
  Eiji is the leader, so he's always right
  His jackhammers are so fast he might even take flight
  Jingle bells, Eiji smells, juniors laid an egg
  Oh what fun it is to simp for Maple girls all day - hey!

• Beaters had a ton of meetups in Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Singapore, Seattle, and more...the largest one in which gave a few of us COVID - #JAKOVID19

  The most interesting development of the year is probably when Jake got COVID during our 3rd LA meetup and had to quarantine for 2 weeks at my parents' house until he could return to Canada. Luckily, he and everybody else who got it is all good now! Aaaaaand we are probably going to avoid meetups of that size like indefinitely.
