Change Meso-Up from being a party buff to a self buff

    This will be an overall nerf on raw mesos generated per hour by non nightlords.

    Right now:
    4 mage ulu1 farmer generates ~10.9m pure mesos per hr (only mesos bags)
    1 mage ulu2 farmer generates ~6m pure mesos per hr (only meso bags)

    Gap: 4.9m

    Post Change:
    4 mage ulu1 farmer generates 7.26m per hr
    1 mage ulu2 farmer generates 4m per hr

    Gap: 3.26m

    Introducing this could help fight off inflation and act as a meso sink. Furthermore, the current meso up mules are still all useful as sweeper mules.

    Or more realistically make it like a reverse HS, where the overall benefit is less with more member in the party.
    like 2 for 150%, 3 for 125, and 110% after that.
    This would help to balance the total amount of meso generated in a party.

    I think you should consider that nearly all of the meso supply comes from farming. It'd be a nerf on MU mules but not a big nerf on mages.

    In other words, NLs (or raiders) will find that things sell for less because people make less.

    NLs should be and shouldve been nerfed to shit a long time ago. they reigned supreme as the top DPS for too long. we need changes pronto.

    Depends on how you look at it. From the perspective of a pure NL player, its a relative buff, since they keep mesos up. But, the other players who muled NL for meso up (so they could use classes that more efficiently farm monsters) no longer have it.

    Given people make several mules in the first place i doubt it would change much if at all to re-adjust it like that.

    Most mages have MU/HB/HS as standard i think...? barring bishops thats 3 people in your party anyway.

    This is too easily abusable by buffing and leaving party to maintain low numbers within the party for "optimal" meso generation.

    Can we at least take reasonable examples when considering what needs to be nerfed?
    99.9% of the server either lacks the required characters or the required skill/dedication to pull off either of the quad mage examples you mentioned.

    People putting in exponential extra work deserve to get exponential extra rewards. This isn't a problem with MU, it's a problem with people being sweaty enough to use 5 clients.

    For quad mage ulu1 it definitely isn't skill that's gonna stop people from abusing it, because there is none involved when there are 2 safe spots for 2 mages lol.

    I mean is it really a bad suggestion when you consider how brain dead easy ulu2 is and these players can make almost 20m per hour watching netflix and touching themselves at the same time. They can afford to take a 2m hit; ulu2 has needed a nerf for a long long long time.

    There's actually 9 people who consistently trio/quad mage ulu1 atm; that's 8 more than it took to attempt to giga-nerf Shaolin for like 4 straight patches lol.

    MU nerf affects bishops that are already bad on farming mesos.

    I agree it makes more sense to nerf ulu, but 4 mage ulu1 makes as much as an efficient bishop selling 1h skele leech, and 5m less than 2 high level mages selling 5-6.
    Bishops also have the added benefit of not being a complete mule like my mages are

    The only reason MU seems so broken at ulu1 is that quad mage ulu1 earns a stupid amount of meso, so the gain from MU seems stupidly high.

    Again, that's not a sign MU is broken, it's a sign quad mage uwu1 is broken.

    And high lvl 5-6 mages are 200 with echo 2 hitting?

    I haven't touched skeles in a while, but if you can run an efficient rotation with gene jump, you can net 20-24m eph in trio. 5-6m per buyer (up to 6m if you sell exp packages at 4m exp /1m mesos) + drops should get you roughly 25m+ mesos/hr.

    Of course eph drops and profits drop the higher level the bishop. You're also gated by your hardware as some keyboards can't consistnrlty gene jump.
    Ulu1 is roughly 24-27m/hr (per shiverings journal), and 5-6 is anywhere from 27-33m/hr depending on the levels of your buyers and how effectively you can clear the map.
