    Hello,

    Ever since book rates have been nerfed, we have observed many runs and feel that they have been nerfed very strongly.
    My friends have run over 16 runs without seeing one gene or mw20, which i know is "RNG" but with lower rates.
    Every single run we have hosted in the past few weeks, we have only gotten one gene 30, recorded in our book drop sheet.

    Horntail no longer feels so worth, and I am wondering if the staff are observing the rates.

    I did a run today and we got 3 enrage drops!

    In your list do the trash horntail books drop significantly more than the rare ones?

    Hi, yes I've noticed a lot more lower tier drops lmao like 4 TLs!! or enrage / snipe or 4 of each but never a mw or gene

    Time to let a secret out: The book rates haven't changed at all

    Why?

    1) I wanted see first how much HT was going to be done under the buff changes that were done recently
    2) I wanted see if such thread as this appears, where people say 'pls review' even though it haven't even changed!

    I'm sorry. But yeah, RNG. This is why RNG is more evil than people may think.

    so this raised book prices but there are still very little genes / mws on market :v so i guess it worked?

    It's because people are doing the usual which is hoarding books and wait until they run out, to than sell them for as expensive as possible. As soon the announcement was made everyone removed their books from Fredrick :p

    It's quite entertaining. This is a one time thing though. When we announce drop changes at other times it's always true. This time it was not, because wanted more accurate results first post-buff.

    A lot of people sold off their hoards of books in the past few weeks so there's actually limited in the market now, and I'm sure CWKPQ decreased the number of HT runs that are ran in general. Also Gene30 is already at a reasonable price. I would suggest you run HT with a group of friends and be their bishop and hope that gene30 drops to get the gene30 at a discount by taking out from your cut, I'm sure a lot of bishops do that so many gene30s don't even hit the FMs in time xd

    Actually I had a feeling the nerf was very minuscule to the point of being negligible. My first hosted run post 'nerf' dropped 2 MW20 books.

    And as others have mentioned the market rates has shifted due to less people doing HT and doing CWKPQ instead.

    Would have been cool if there was a poll just to see how many people thought the drop-rates were too nerfed before the secret came out. SlimeWink

    This "nerf" has been amazing for me lol. Even before this admission of white lies I was happy; I had a long ass 0-drop streak. Now I get something every run, if it is just bliz or mw.

    Know, though, that ht got harder. My runs have failed due to deaths a few times. That lowers the amount of books on the market too, hence the increased bookprice (mw, gen)
